ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 348 "ANYTHING GOES"

Happy Holidays!! I'm writing this ahead of time because I will actually have all my kids home for Christmas. I wanted to spend every moment I could with them but still wanted you to read my blog with this great challenge that everyone loves. "Anything Goes" I hope you are enjoying your day also.

Our very own Robyn's will be hosting our "Anything Goes" challenge this week. You can find her store at The Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More to see all her beautiful images that she has. The image that I used today is called "Stevie The Snowman." He is so adorable that I have three of him on my card. I know I always make a scrapbook layout but just couldn't find any pictures of my kids in the snow. Now let's see what Robyn will be giving our lucky winner.

So here is "Stevie the Snowman"

I thought it turned out to be a great winter card. You don't necessarily have to use it as a Christmas card. I love the papers I found since the snowmen look like they may be sledding down a hill. The hill is glittered paper that I made the hills out of. I colored the snowmen and added the embellishments. Was a real easy make. Here is the items that I did use.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Glittered White Paper -- Doddlebug Designs Inc.
Paper -- Colorbok
All Embellishments -- Dress It Up

Thank You for stopping by and I hope to see your creations over on The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Have a Wonderful Holiday and a Great New Year!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #337 "NATURE"

Hello to everyone who is here today. Hope all is well with you. It's been a busy week here. There was extra stuff to do because something broke or wasn't put in right. (My Son's Fault) Lots of cleaning up and then fixing it. Just isn't the week I had planned. I did plan what I was going to do everyday and I only finished Monday and Tuesday's work. Enough of me, here is our sponsor.

Pickled Potpourri is our sponsor for out "Nature" challenge. They have Digital Stamps for almost every occasion possible. They are very delicate and beautiful. You really need to check this sponsor's store. Since our challenge was for "Nature." I had the pleasure of using her digital stamp called "Beehive," So before I show you what I did with the beehive, let me share with you what they will be giving our lucky winner.

Now here is "Beehive"

I hope you like the card. I had so much fun coloring the beehive. My mother-in-law actually had a huge one in one of her bushes that a bee keeper had to come and get it out. More honey for him. I didn't want just a yellow beehive. So since I seen the beehive and the way it looked in the bushes, I took the look from it to try and make it look like that one. I had bee paper from a Pooh collection and used it. Then I added the two beehives and all the bee's. I really think that it turned out really cute. Here is the short list of items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- EK Success (Classic Pooh Collection)
Bee Hives and Bee Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Thank You for stopping by this week to see our new challenge. I do hope that you will show us your card that is from nature. Of course, if you would like to see all our design team cards, just head on over to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Hope you have a fantastic week and I will see you again next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 336 "SQUARE CARDS"

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Mine has been busy and I won't be getting a break today. It started out that we were to move some of my husband's mother things out of her house and put in storage. But my son , who lives with her, decided that he was going to move out Saturday. Big mess!! Now, oldest son decided to move today. Of all weekend's for my boys to move it just left me and my husband to move his mom's stuff alone. I'm not use to all of this work. Monday can't come fast enough.

Our great sponsor this week is Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner. I was grateful that I was given the image "Toadie's Hall." This mushroom house is so cute with the frog sitting on top of it. I have to say the frog is the most cutest part of the image but the whole image is adorable. The prize that they are giving to someone this week is

5 Digital Stamps

The Winner's Choice

This is a really nice prize that they are giving.

I really hope that you like this card. I really had fun making it. I loved working with the frogs. They are adorable.I know this is a mushroom but looks like the bottom of a tree. So that's why I colored it two different colors. I added the other frogs on places where there was lily pads and I made the little squares across the bottom so I could add some more frogs. This paper was perfect for this card. It took me awhile to find it because I hadn't seen it for awhile but I did find it. Here is my list of items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & Core-Ordinations
Paper -- DCWV
Frog Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I'm at the end of another post. Thank You for stopping by to see the card that I hope inspired you. All of our design team made some cute square cards that you can see over at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think of my card. I would love to hear from you. Need to go. I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 335 "USE AN EMBOSSING FOLDER"

Here we are again for another challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Embossing cards are fun to play with. There are so many patterns to choose from. I do hope you play along and show us your embossing cards.

Blackberry Jelly's is our sponsor this week. This is a cute little etsy store that you would want to go and look at the images. We were able to pick any image we wanted to used for our project. I just thought that this cat with the balloons was adorable. The name of this image is called, "Cat In The Box; Box With Balloons." I want to tell you about this image and what I did with it. But, I'm gonna let you know what Blackberry Jelly's is giving for this week's prize.

Here is my Scrapbook Layout that I called, "Feather Parties."

I hope you like the Scrapbook Layout. I made this with my cat named "Feather." Since the image was a cat in a box with birthday balloons, I remembered that my daughter had a birthday where we played with our cat with hats. He actually left them on there for me to get a couple of pictures. The paper reminded me of the colors on the hat he was wearing and I had paper to match the background where I embossed dots on the balloons as a background of the pictures. I then added the embellishments and that finished the page. This one was a pretty easy layout but I love it. Here is the items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Oval Stencils -- Fiskars
Embossing Folder -- Cuttlebug's Dots
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I want to Thank You for stopping by. It brightens my day for you to see what I have done for this week. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you will see more projects and the rules for entering our challenges. Can't see what you come up with!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 330 "CARD FOR MEN OR BOYS"

Hello on this glorious morning. Today, my husband and I are going to go and get his mother. She is going to make a brief stay up here until she gets the rest of her things packed. She just needs to get out of the house for some down time and she is not getting it there. That's because my son is living at her house and giving her grief. He will be renting the house after she moves out. I have lived with him for 23 years so I know how he can get on someones nerves.

We have Lacy Sunshine as our Sponsor for this week's challenge. Lacy Sunshine has sponsored several of our challenges and has the cutest images for you to look and chose from. She let me use her image called, "Larry Gnome - Surf's Up." He is absolutely adorable standing in the sand with is surf board in hand. Here he is with the card I made with him.

I think he turned out adorable. Here is what Lacy Sunshine is giving as her prize for this week.

I loved this Gnome and thought it would be great image to make something of. I found this piece of paper of the water coming onto the sand. A perfect place for Larry to be. Since he was on sand and some water, I decided to add seashells. Added some more embellishments and made the sentiment. My favorite part of that sentiment is how I made the word "Waves" look like they are waves with the blue in the water. Here is what I used to make this simple card.

Well, that's all that I have for you today. I do wish you will come back next Sunday for another great challenge from Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. There is a challenge every Sunday so mark your calendars to remind you to be here. Thank You for stopping!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 328 "PAPER PIECING"

Hope all is well with you. Are you excited about the Olympics that started Friday? There are many things I like to watch plus see who gets the most gold medals. The opening ceremonies are my favorite but I totally missed them this time. I had a major migraine and missed all of it. I have looked at some highlights but that was not the same. Let's begin with the challenge

Well we have the pleasure of having Robyn sponsor our challenge from her store The Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. As we usually do, she let us pick our own digital image from anywhere in her store. I wanted to pick out something big so you could see that I paper pieced my image. So, I picked "Rose." I wanted to make the petals separate so you could see the piecing. Here is my "Rose."

Robyn is giving one lucky winner

I made this rose into a sympathy card. I have the hardest time making these just because what it is meant for. So, I know in the future someone will be needing this card. The different kind of frames is from Sizzix Framelits. The package didn't have a name for what these shapes were called and if it did, I could find them no where. I paper pieced the rose and the leaves. I put a little lines in the leafs but don't know if you can see them. I cut every piece of the rose and then glue it on there. I then added the quote at the top and put flowers at the corner to kind of brighten it up some. The last thing I did was put an Angel on top of the flowers because I believe that your guardian Angel takes you to heaven. I will let you know where the items came from.

Frames -- Sizzix Framelits

Thank You for reading my post again this week. I do enjoy sharing my cards and hoping you find inspiration from them. Let me see what you can do with paper piecing this week. Link them at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog so I can see them. Our design team is also sharing their cards with paper piecing on there. These are wonderful cards. Hope you have a Wonderful Week

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 326 "AT THE BEACH"

Hello to everyone reading this. Hope is all well with you. I'm just a little sad. My daughter left Friday to go on a trip across the United States in a RV to go to California. On the way they are suppose to go see the Grand Canyon, go snorkeling, visit Disney Land for three days, and walk the board walk. There a couple of other things she will be doing but its a great opportunity for her. She went with her best friend and her mother. The sad part is they are going to be gone for 12 days and I miss her so much already. My daughter and I are close and it was hard on both of us when she left. I cried all day after I said Goodbye. I wouldn't stand in the way of this for her. She's already been to Virginia Beach with her friend and her mom is talking Hawaii next summer. Wish I had this when I was 16. Moving on to the challenge.

I am so lucky that I was allowed to use "Summertime Butterfly Bear" from Bugaboo Stamps. I just love the digital images they have in their store. There are many stamps if you are doing something with a summer theme. I made a card this week that you can use to send a message from where you are to your family back home. I always try to name my cards and layouts so here is the name for this one. "Beach Bound"

I hope you like it. I found so many things to make beach cards or layouts that it was hard to pick out what to use. I think this worked out great. So, here is the prize from Bugaboo Stamps.

$21.00 Gift Certificate

Great Prize!! Makes you want to enter our challenge!! Now on my card I used a couple of embellishments, fun paper and that great image. The circle behind the image is suppose to be a beach ball that also matches the one the bear is holding. This was a pretty simple card to make. The coloring of the image took me the longest. I just couldn't get my bear to look right. I think that it finally looks good. Here is what I used to make this adorable card

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 324 "ANYTHING WITH WATER"

Hello! Hope all is well with you. I have had a very odd week. My son moved out again and it's peaceful with him and his sister not fighting. This is something that I will have to get use to and probably love when I do. This was his first Birthday not living at home. He turned 24 yesterday. Didn't even see him. It was weird when my first son wasn't home for his first birthday.

This week's sponsor is Angie's Digital Stamps. Her store has cute images and also sentiments that you can choose. She was so kind that she let me use her stamp "Whale" that worked great for this challenge. I have been wanting to use a picture of my grandson's wrinkled hand after he went swimming with me and my husband. The name of the card is "Having A Whale Of A Time" which is a sentiment that I used on my layout shown here:

This is the prize one lucky winner will receive

3 Digital Stamps

Winner's Choice
Angie's Digital Stamps Store

So, I would like to explain to you what I did to this Scrapbook Layout with my image of the "Whale." My Grandson (Hayden that was 9 months at the time) went to the pool for the first time with us. I took a picture with his wrinkled hand and wanted to use it for a layout one day. So I made around 20 copies of his hand. I cut them all out and made this cute circle with all of them. I knew there would be a hole in the middle and knew where to put my image of the Whale. The whale is so much brighter if you seen it in person. I had many pictures with Hayden in the water that made picking the right pictures hard. I made the pictures in circles to kind of look like bubbles. The background paper of water made the finishing touch. I have to say if you never made something like this, it takes a lot of time. Here is my ingredients.

Cardstock --  Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio
Paper --  The Paper Studio
Font Of Sentiment  --  PW Cartoon Maker
Glitter On Whale  --  Ranger (Crystal)

Since it's Summer, I bet that there are a lot of photos laying around just to make a great card with. You may have water in the back ground or you have a cute image you have been wanting to use. When your project is finished just add them to the challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. I love looking at what other creative people make. I'm at the end so have an awesome week and I will see you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 297 "ANYTHING GOES"

WOW!! It's the first Sunday of 2016 and our first challenge of the year. So, how was everyone's New Year's celebrations? I can honestly say we stayed home while my daughter went and enjoyed her first New Year's Eve with friends. My excitement happened on the 30th of December. It's me and my husband's wedding anniversary. Our kids rented us a one night cabin get away for Christmas for our anniversary. My 16 year old daughter was in charge of it all. I love you Jelissa for that. I actually spent time with my husband and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Robyn is our very first sponsor of the year and we are glad she is. She even gave us a great challenge for the first one "Anything Goes." The best challenge that is out there. I know it's my favorite one. Robyn let us use one of her new Christmas/Winter images to choose from. I picked, "Rudolph With Scarf." This is an absolutely cute image. Rudolph is sitting down like he fell but is warm with his scarf  he has on. Since this was anything goes I mad a card that looks like a baby's onsie. I couldn't think of a layout for this one. The onsie has red trim and the base has letters on it that are from the word Christmas. Then Rudolph is right there in the front. I really want to show you but I need to tell you what Robyn is giving for the first prize this year.

Now here is that card that has Rudolph With Scarf

I love the image and also the card that you can use for Christmas invitations of baby invitations. The only thing that I had a problem with was getting the brads in a straight line. This is an easy fix for me though. Just have to sit and redo it when I get the chance. Besides that I hope you like the card. Here are the items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & My Stash
Paper -- Bella Boulevard
Silver Brads  -- My Stash

Not many things to make this cute card. I want to Thank You for stopping by and have a great start to the New Year. To enter this challenge please go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and while you are there check out the tutorial that Cass has and the other Design Team projects. You are going to love them.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #256 "ANYTHING FOR WINTER"

Hello to all that's reading my posts. Hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas Friday!! We had a very nice one.

For this week's challenge Sami Stamps will be our sponsor. I like the categories she calls "Freebies and Deals." There are many, many categories for you to choose from. There are holidays, seasons, fantasy, foods, flowers and way more for me to write. She was so gracious to let me work with the digital image called, "Frosty Flowers." This is a cute snowman holding poinsettia's. Well, that's what I colored them to be. I added paper that had snowman on it and used some snowman embellishments. I think it turned out cute. I didn't write Merry Christmas because you can used it just because it's winter time. So, here is the prize Sami Stamps is giving for this week's challenge.

$12.00 Gift Certificate
From
Sami Stamps Store

Very generous prize of her to give. So make sure you enter our challenge this week. Let me show you what I did to Frosty Flowers.

The flowers are not as dark as poinsettia's but I made them a lighter red with orange and yellow in the middle. Since my paper had snowmen with candy canes, I had ribbon that went perfect with it. Here are the rest of the items I used:

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #293 "CHRISTMAS CARDS"

Welcome to the first weekend of December. Hope you are enjoying the beginning of the month so far. I love Christmas but when it hits December I start loosing my mind. I have to finish my shopping, finish the tree, decorate the house, and start making goodies. This is the first year My Husband, Kids and Me will be celebrating Christmas in our new house. We even received an early Christmas gift from my husband's mom. Our very new Christmas tree that is actually big. When we were cramped in the old house we had a little tree and just the kids ornaments will fit on it. None of the other ornaments we had would fit. It's starting to look pretty and I did buy a new tree topper. Beautiful Angel dressed in white with a tiny bit of gold. I'm hoping to have the tree done today.

Robyn's has been busy revealing her new Fall/Winter images that she still had enough time to let her design team use another new image. Now you will see how someone else used the image in their own way from the reveal. So, as you can see, Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog will be our sponsor for this week's challenge and this is one of my favorite challenges. It has helped me get my Christmas cards done for the year. The Christmas digital image I used is called "Polar Santa." This polar bear is absolutely adorable and was fun to color. Before I tell you about the card, here is the prize Robyn is giving.

So, the background paper of my card is suppose to have mittens and stockings on it but the embellishments and the bear covered them. So I made little squares to show you what is on the paper. The paper was perfect for the images that I used. Here is Polar Santa

The picture turned out lighter then it really is. When I tried to darken it the picture was blurry. The background paper is like a midnight blue. I really thought Santa's Good and Bad List was so adorable that I just had to add it to the card. Here are the other items.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #292 "USE SOME BROWN AND YELLOW"

Hello!! How was every one's Thanksgiving that celebrates it? Good here. I actually seen all my kids and grand kids on one day. Doesn't happen that often around here. We were busy all week though. My daughter helped me this week since she had no school. We cut up our pumpkins to cook down and made four pies with enough left over for Christmas. We made two chocolate pies and started to prepare stuff for the big day. Then my husband cooked the turkey as usual and we actually had dinner by one o'clock. Friday was the day that I actually did absolutely nothing and even took at nap. It was nice to have a day like this. But now I need to get back to my routine and prepare myself for the Christmas season. All that shopping, decorating, wrapping, and then preparing for the big day and making of the dinner. Things are just going to fast this season.

So with the last week of November we will be making cards with yellow and brown. Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies. They have been very grateful in letting us use their images and sponsoring our challenges. Thank You for being so gracious. Your images are fantastic and I love working with them. The image that I used for this card is called, "Playing In The Pumpkin Patch." This image has two pumpkins with a boy sitting on the biggest one and a dog trying to get up to him. It's a really cute image so let's see the card I made but before I do let's tell you the great prize A Day For Daisies is giving that lucky winner

Isn't it cute. I loved this paper I had for the back ground. It's perfect for the challenge. I didn't have any sunflowers so I made flowers that had colors from a sunflower. I think it all turned out great. So let me tell you where all the items came from.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #291 "CARDS WITH AUTUMN COLORS"

Hope you are having a great Sunday!! Are you busy getting things ready for this week's Thanksgiving Dinner? I have been this weekend. I cut up all my pumpkins and cooked them down to make homemade pies. What was left went into the freezer for making pies for my Christmas dinner. Cleaning, cutting, and cooking the pumpkin takes so long but well worth the trouble. I do not like pumpkin from a can and have been cooking my own pumpkin for I don't know how long. I know I was young because people didn't think I would be doing something at that young of an age. The way I look at it, why was all the pumpkin when you can use it. Even the seeds can be cooked. In these days you have to use everything you can to save money.

Sorry for all the pumpkin talk. Let's get to the challenge for this week. I love autumn so doing this card was easier to do then some of the others. I had a great set of images to use from our sponsor "The Cutting Cafe." This set is called "Harvest Greetings Wreath." With this set you get large wreath images, small wreath images, two pages of sentiments, and pieces of a door for you to make. This is a very big set and the only thing that took me the longest to figure out what sentiment did I want to use. The other stuff was really easy. You will definitely want to have this set for your Autumn cards. On their site right know they have an adorable Turkey Treat Cup Set for you to make. It is so adorable. There is so much stuff in this store that I could not even tell you all of it. I strongly recommend you go and visit it. Then put in a project to win this prize from them.

3 SETS
From

So, let me show you the card I made with some of the images from this set.

I wanted it to look like the door was on a log cabin house. I used autumn colors on the sign, door and the wreath. The sentiment was from the set and I just printed it on the orange paper so it would look better then putting white on it. There is a door knob in her set but I just used a black button. So here is the small list of items I used for this card.

Cardstock -- All From My Stash
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Black Button -- My Stash
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

This was great that I found most of my items in my left over paper and buttons. I don't throw anything away that I think I can use. I actually have a tub of leftover paper. I use it as much as possible. This was a great post for me today. I like the card even though I didn't use a lot of items on it. Usually I make them with a lot of items. So, go over to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and see all of our idea's that we made this week and enter your project.

NEW CHRISTMAS AND WINTER DIGITAL STAMPS IN THE ROBYN'S FETISH STAMPS AND MORE STORE - NOVEMBER 9, 2015

Hello!! Today I am here to reveal 2 of the new 20 Digital Stamps that Robyn's Fetish Stamps and More Store has added. These are absolutely the cutest images for Christmas and Winter. You probably will want to have all of them by the time you get done seeing them. Each of our Design Team members were given two images and some took a couple more to make a variety of projects for you to see with these new images.

The first image that I used is called "Peppermint." Who doesn't like those little peppermint candies? So, I made a Christmas Wreath with them. The total project is homemade. Here's a picture for you.

Before I begin telling you about it. If you are wanting to do one of these make sure you have a little time to do one. I had the straw wreath for awhile and always wanted to make one of these. The material has peppermints all over it and is from Hobby Lobby. I cut and poked each square into the straw. I made the bow with Christmas Ribbon that had wire on each of the sides. The peppermints that are on the wreath are colored with glitter from Ranger. Then I laminated the peppermints so they wouldn't bend. I loved these peppermints. There were lots of projects I come up with but this was the one I wanted to tackle.

Then with the second image which is called "Snow Cabin" I made a Scrapbook Layout. This snow cabin is so cute with the Christmas lights and snow on the roof and window. When I seen this image I automatically knew I wanted to do a layout. One year my husband and I celebrated our anniversary in a cabin at a State park. Here's the layout with the story told on it.

Those Cabins are adorable. As you can see I did make three of them to make sure the image stood out. Of course you see that my children are there and that's what made the story. I used Snowflake paper from The Paper Studio for the background. All the glittered snowflakes are from Make It Christmas. I colored the cabins and all the white you see on them are glitter from Ranger. The font that I used for the story is Curlz MT.

I do hope that you enjoyed my projects and will love the rest of the Design Teams projects. So, to see all the new 20 Digital Images just go to Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. You won't be disappointed.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #287 "ANYTHING FOR HALLOWEEN"

Good Morning!! It's been one soggy weekend here. A great time to watch scary movies and do some crafting. Everyone here had their own things they wanted to do so I stayed home and did my usual. No one likes the movies I watch so this was a perfect time to catch up on some I haven't seen. Everyone is use to me doing some of my crafting in the evenings while I try and watch TV at the same time with them. Plus, my cat has a cold so she has been sitting beside me the whole weekend. She is getting a little better today. I'm glad, she was scaring me there for a minute.

I love this week's challenge and we have a great sponsor for it. Limited Runs Digi Stamps has the cutest images for Halloween projects. These images are not ones that would scare the kids. They have also released some new digis and have many many categories of the images they have. I used the image "Witch and Sign." She is the cutest little girl that has fallen with her sign in her hands but she is still smiling. I made my card with her and spiders since there is a spider on the image. So, let's get to the prize so you can see my card.

Now I want to show you the card I made with the "Witch and Sign."

The sign was blank so I added the Happy Halloween on it. The font that I used looks a little scary. It's called, "Chiller." This is one of my favorite fonts to use. This was a very easy card to make and very little items that I used. Here is my items.

Paper -- DCWV
Little Witch Sign -- EK Success (Inspirables)
Font -- Chiller
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers

See, it was a little simple. Just coming up with the idea was the hardest part, So I hope to see your Halloween projects over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Good Luck to you all!!

LIL PATCH OF CRAFTY FRIENDS CHALLENGE "ANYTHING GOES"

Hello Again!! Seems like it's been a long time since I made a project for you here at Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends. Is everyone loving the fall weather. I love Autumn with changing of the leaves and the much cooler weather. Now with our new house, we will have to start raking leaves that I didn't miss at the last place I lived. It will be nice to have them in a pile and let the grand kids play in them. These are the times you get some of your greatest pictures when they are young. I still remember when my kids did it. Very happy days to remember since one of your children has kids to enjoy it just like he did.

Well, for this challenge, "Anything Goes," we have a total of three sponsors giving out prizes to some lucky winners. Everyone loves to get free images to use on new cards that you want to make. Some for the images has been great with some of the Scrapbook Page Layouts. Well I'm excited to get started meeting our three sponsors for this challenge.

Sponsor 1

Karleigh Sue Digi's is our first sponsor for this second challenge of the month. They will be giving someone 3 images from their store.

Sponsor 2

https://www.etsy.com/shop/OddballArtCo is our next sponsor that will be giving a prize of 3 images from their store. This store carries Sweet & Spooky Creepy designs and they also carry merchandise for you to purchase. This is the first time that I have heard of this etsy store and their a lot of images that are cute compared to how many that are spooky. It's a nice store that you should go and see for yourself.

Sponsor 3

Lemon Shortbread is the last of our sponsors and the store that I have received my image from.
They will be giving another one of our winners 3 images from their store. I love the images there and this would be the prize I would like to go with. The image that I used is called "Christmas Ornament." She is a beautiful girl holding one ornament. Looks like she maybe hanging it on a tree. With this Christmas ornament I actually added another card to my Christmas Cards this year. Here is how I used this image to make my card.

I really do hope you like it. I used poinsettia background paper and then added all the other poinsettia's around her. I focused more on the flowers than I did the ornament. You can always add ornaments to a page but when I saw this paper I knew what I wanted to do.

I do hope you go and visit all our sponsors and what the great design team made. Just go to Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends to see all the great work from the Design Team and also add you project for us to see. Love seeing the things that you come up with.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #285 "USE LOTS OF ORANGE"

Good Sunday Morning!! I'm hoping everyone is at least. I'm just glad that my Saturday is over. My little brother is getting married Friday evening and I had to go and find a dress to wear. I don't mind shopping for others or with others but not for myself. All it does is depress me and I end up crying. I'm not lucky like some of those women that put on a great dress and walk out looking perfect. I am what America calls the average size woman that industries don't make pretty or cute clothes for. If you do find something that you like, it never looks the same on as it did off. So after a day of shopping, I ended up with a nice shirt and dress pants. The usual for me because nothing else works. I would like to wear a dress just one time.

Oak Pond Creations is our sponsor of this week's challenge. This is an etsy store that has very cute images. They have sponsored some of our challenges before and we are grateful that they are sponsoring us again this week. I choose the digital image "Halloween Friends." There is a owl, cat, and bat. I added some ghosts to be friends right along with them. This card is a new fold that I have never tried before. But, before I tell you about the card, I want to let you know about the prize for this week.

With the card that I made, I used a Double Gated Fold. I wanted to try something different and I think I did pretty good. The only thing that I think is wrong is the very first fold. I think it's suppose to turn the opposite way but I didn't figure is out until the whole thing was done. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The only thing I would want to change is the size of the card. I would have wanted to make it a little bigger. So here is the card with "Halloween Friends."

I hope you like it. You may be able to see that first fold and judge for yourself if it's turned the right or wrong way. I have had that little sign that says boo since I started scrapbooking. I just found it in the move. I have more with different sayings that are going to become useful in the future. I tried to get the picture to show up brighter but I think the orange I used was just to bright. I used a little bit of the patterned paper behind the image and on the outside of the card. Here is where everything came from

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & My Stash
Paper -- DCWV
Boo Sign -- EK Success
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
1 1/4" Circle -- Close To My Heart
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I don't know if you will find any of the boo signs but you can use anything in that spot. If you have a time making a card, I would suggest trying to make one of these. I found the directions on the Internet. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you will see it all. The challenge for this week, the place where you add your project, tutorials, and we also have a newsletter for you to sign up for. Lots of information and the design teams cards are there also. So, have a look and I will see you next week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #284 "ADD LEAVES, REAL OR FAUX"

Wow!! I can officially say that we are in the first week into October. My favorite time of year and one of my favorite month's because of it being a Halloween month. With all the kids being older, they don't get into it that much but I still do. I do it for me, the grand kids and for other's to see what I did with my house for the holiday. I also have to do the dreaded cleaning of the register's. Since I just moved in here, I looked in one and I don't know what year they were last done. Wish I had the money to call one of those company's that clean all the ducts and everything to do with the register's.

We have the greatest Robyn's Fetish to sponsor us for this week's challenge. Did you see all the new images last week that she revealed? I love everyone of them. I had fun using the ones that I was able to. The ghosts I made on the lights are so adorable. I added another thing to my Halloween decorations for the house. Just think you could get one if you are this week's winner. Samantha the Witch is another adorable one that I can't wait to use on one of my projects. Let me tell you about the image I used this week for add leaves. I added a bunch of them. Real in the photo's and fake on the page. That's right, I made a Scrapbook Layout. My image is called Fall Fun. She's a little girl playing outside with the leaves. Very adorable and fun to color the leaves with many colors. I'm excited to show you my project but I need to tell you what you can win this week.

So, this layout is of my three children when they were little. I found these pictures as I was putting things away. Joshua was 11 years old, Jordan was 8 years old, and Jelissa was 14 months. Thank goodness I wrote their ages on the back of the pictures. Here's my layout.

I hope you enjoy the layout. The pictures were taken back when I didn't know how to crop and didn't have the greatest camera. So you may have to click on the photo is you want to see them. The rest is very bright and beautiful and you can see the image. Plus, she also is surrounded by the ribbon frame. Here is where the items came from.

It's time to go. I have many things on my list today to do while the husband is home. He has the "Honey Do List." LOL Not often he's here for a whole day. I have to take advantage of this. See you next week and enjoy.
