ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 161 "BIRDS"

Celebrating another holiday on our Sunday challenge. Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Weekend!! Our weekend was a wedding on Saturday with my daughter playing the flute as the bride and party come down the isle. The music was so beautiful. I listened to her practice all week and it was a beautiful song. She will also be playing at a cemetery with her band on Monday morning. Remembering all the Veteran's and loved one's that passed. This is a new thing that school's are doing for Memorial Day. Well, I hope that every one of you have had a great weekend and a wonderful Monday!!
Fred, She Said Designs
As you can see from above, Fred, She Said Designs is our sponsor this week. I used an image from her set called Blue Jay and Raspberries. Who doesn't like raspberries. There were raspberry bushes on a country road where I grew up. I would walk up there all the time to pick the berries. Great memories. Blue jays are beautiful birds but I don't see them that much where I live. Enough of my rambling again. Here is the prize that Fred, She Said Designs is giving our lucky winner this challenge for birds.
A $10.00 Voucher
From
Fred, She Said Designs Store.
Here is the card of my Blue Jay and Raspberries. Hope you enjoy it.

I wanted the raspberries to look like they were growing up a lattice. The background paper is light but it has vines that go up and down. After I put the berries and blue jay on the card, I was stumped with what to do with the rest. My image that I had in my mind just vanished. I went through many poems to find this one that just stood out at me. So I loved the way it all turned out. Here are the products that I used to make this card.

Cardstock - Close To My Heart
Paper - DCWV, The Paper Studio
Flowers - From My Stash
Saying - Colorbok
Punch - EK Tools Large Edger Punch (Lattice Chain)
Colored Pencils
Colored Markers

Thanks for joining me for another challenge that were having at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. If you would like any information about the challenge you can find it there. There are so many birds out there. Which one will your choose? Have a Great Sunday and the rest of the week. See you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 160 "FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS"

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. I can not believe it's Sunday again. I have been so busy with my son's and daughter that time just flies by. My middle son finally has a job. He's almost 21 and he's going to college two days a week. I told him when he started college that he didn't have to work because I thought he would be busy all the time. With him going two days a week, I decided that he needed to go get a job. My daughter is still busy with her soccer. She was also inducted to the National Honor Society Monday night. I cried, of course, when she was called up to accept. I'm a very proud MOM. My oldest son may be getting a better job. I'm praying for him. I want him to actually like the job he is doing. All three of them made me real happy on Mother's Day. They bought me the most lovely gifts. Great job kiddos. I Love You all to the moon and back!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 159 "PIRATES AND THE SEA"

 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EVERYONE!!

Welcome to this special Sunday challenge. It ends up starting up on Mother's Day. I'm actually going to go to my bothers house and have a cookout for my Mom. I haven't been with her on Mother's Day for over 15 years. We didn't get along so we quit talking to each other. We are starting slow to get to know each other again and have that Mother/Daughter relationship we should have always had. I'm so close of my daughter and wouldn't know what I would do if we weren't. She actually had her first formal Friday night and she was beautiful. We both were nervous. It was nice to have went through this whole process with her. Beginning with the dress all the way to getting ready for the dance.  I can't wait to journal and make layouts for the pictures.

KPM DOODLES

We have a great sponsor this week for our challenge. Welcome KPM Doodles to our challenge's. You will love what they have in their store. I was lucky to use the image set named Pirates. This image goes great with our challenge theme. I have never done a card or even a layout with pirates so this was a bit of a challenge for me. But, I always love a challenge. Here is the prize that KPM Doodles is offering to the winner this week.

2 SETS

 The Winner's Choice

Here is the card that I ended up creating with the Pirate Set

I hope you understand the card. I put the pirate on there with the map and the "X." The white brads are suppose to be the path that the pirate needs to follow to get the treasure. I hope you see the way the path is going. The paper behind has a  path on it also. Here are the items that I used to make this cute Pirate card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 158 "SPRING COLORS"

It's another Sunday for a new challenge with Robyn's Fetish. I hope everyone had a great week. Mine was busy and more busy. My daughter had three soccer games in a row this week plus a band and chorus concert. She keeps us on our toes. She did make a goal at one of the games. Wish I had a camera. The face she made was priceless. I need a little one for my purse for moments like this. I also spent half a day with my grand kids. They grow like weeds. They were so good this visit that I had a nice conversation with my son. Nice to have that time with your kids after they leave the house. It's hard to get time when they have kids to get that time in. Thank You to my grandchildren.

Well as you probably guessed, Robyn is our wonderful sponsor for this first full week of May. The challenge this week is "Spring Colors." Doing one of these cards just makes me want summer to come even faster. The image that I chose this week is called Lucy. A cute little baby girl that just wears a lot of spring colors. I made a baby card for either a Congratulations or It's a Girl Card. I wanted to keep it open until I would need it. Here is what Robyn is giving to the lucky winner this week.
