ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 191 "USE SILVER OR GOLD"

Good Morning!! Hope everyone is doing well this Sunday morning. I would like to apologize to everyone including my design team sisters for not having my post on here last week. I did have the card done and it was posted on Robyn's challenge blog. I ended up getting really sick and was in bed for three days. Still not feeling the greatest but good enough to work on things that I need to get caught up on. I don't even have any gifts wrapped for Christmas yet and my kids and grand kids are coming up on Christmas Eve. My grand kids will be with their mom on Christmas day. It's hard to come from broken families. It's very hard to get things planned that everyone can come and be together. Sometimes it does not work. Well I will let you know next week how things turned out.

Well, I want to get to the challenge for this week. We are making cards that have gold or silver on it. You really need to make sure that you see the gold or silver for your card to qualify. Just want you to know. Our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter. I really loved the image that I was allowed to use for this challenge. She is called "Snow Angel." She's a cute little girl that is laying in the snow making her own snow angel. Since we had to use one of the colors I used silver for the snow on the ground. Before you see my card I want you to see what The Paper Shelter is giving to the lucky winner this week.

Now here is my card with the image of "Snow Angel."

I hope that you can see the silver on the card. The paper has silver swirls and stuff and I hope I have enough glitter on the ground of her snow angel. I wanted to put the snowflakes on there to make it look like it's still snowing out. Here are the items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & Close To My Heart
Silver & Tan Paper -- The Paper Studio
Sign -- The Paper Studio
Snowflakes -- Dress It Up
Glitter -- Ranger (Silver)

Now I'm at the end of my post. I'm glad that I'm getting back on track and letting you know about our challenges again. The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is the place to enter your cards. You will see the challenge with all the Design Teams cards that they made. Take a look. Our team is very talented. Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a good week and Happy Christmas.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #189 "MUST HAVE A BOW"

Hello from snowy Ohio. Not as much snow as I would have liked but it's still snow on the ground and on the trees. We are suppose to get another two inches tonight but I will wait to see. I had my grand daughter yesterday and see was looking at the snow like she has never seen it before. She is only one and a half so maybe she hasn't seen much of the white stuff. I couldn't get her away from the door. Finally, I had to just pick her up to stop letting the cold in. He wasn't the happiest but I opened a blind and let her sit in a chair so she could see it and the dog having fun with the snow also. I have a Siberian Husky that loves this stuff so it is entertaining for the kids to watch her. My other dog wants nothing to do with snow, cold or her paws getting wet. She wears her sweaters every winter and still wants to sleep under a blanket. Never seen a dog like this one.

This week were allowed to make a card or anything else. I chose to make a layout this week with a couple of Christmas pictures from the past. Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner is our sponsor for this weeks challenge which is your project must have a bow on it. So, I made the pictures into presents with a bow on the top of them. I love when a project just works out for itself. This was a lot of fun to do and I realized that I need to get back into doing my layouts for my family album. This layout is in there already. Dragonsmoore was great with the image that they let me use. It's called Christmas Pressy Bear. He is a cute little bear that is delivering mail and also holding a small Christmas tree. Since the bear is delivering mail I made the title of my layout "Special Delivery." I really thought it all came together when I was finished. I want to Thank Dragonsmoore for the great image they let me use. Now let me tell you what they will be giving to the lucky winner this week.

Now I would like to show you the scrapbooking layout that I have made.

The image is in the corner and I added extra mail on the ground and some presents that the bear should be delivering. The frames with the red bows have a pattern on the paper that you may not see but I wanted you to know. Here are the great products that I used to make this "Special Delivery."

Paper -- Close To My Heart
Title -- Cricut Cartridge (Storybook)
Glitter -- Ranger (Star Dust)
Pictures In Order On The Layout -- Jelissa, Hayden, and Jordan

I hoped that you liked the layout. Of course, I love it because it has pictures of my family. I put the journal on the back so it didn't take up to much of the layout. I hope that you will try this challenge out. Make your project and just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to enter it. The projects from last weeks challenge was amazing. So many ideas out there. You can take one thing and not one card will be the same. I think that is great. Well I hope to see you next Sunday for another one of Robyn's Challenges. Enjoy the rest of your day and have a Great Week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 188 "CHRISTMAS CARDS"

Welcome to the first challenge of December. Since it is the first we are making Christmas Cards. I love making Christmas Cards. This is a great time of the year for family, friends, and the gift of giving. I love seeing the kids open gifts and the expressions they make. I also hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and any other holiday that you celebrate. Our family has grown apart so much in the past years that we just have a little dinner with our kids and grand kids. Some years even that doesn't happen. Even though that I don't celebrate, I'm thankful everyday for something that has happened. I don't need one day of the year to do this.

Like you have seen twice before now we are doing Christmas Cards. Robyn is sponsoring the challenge this week. She let us choose anything in the category of Christmas to use. I picked out "Jolly Ole Santa." I thought this was a great image to use for this challenge. I have to Thank Robyn for letting me use this image. I had many ideas to do with it but with the holiday in the middle of the week, I was a little behind. I decided to stay with making a simpler card then my traditional ones. Even though it was a little easier to make, it still turned out very cute. If you would like to see more of her great images just click on this link Robyn's Fetish Store. Now let me tell you what she is giving to the lucky winner this week.
