ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 153 "FAIRIES"

HAPPY EASTER!!

Good Morning. First I want to tell you all to have a wonderful day. Spend this day with family and friends. It's starting to be a little rainy here but it is suppose to clear up. I get to enjoy the day cooking, cleaning, and some scrapbooking. My husband will be working on my son's truck. The last couple of years we just haven't had a big family dinner or gathering. Everyone has their own things to do. Holidays are not what they use to be when I was young. You start missing it after your kids start leaving home and have their own families.

Our sponsor for this first week of April is Delicious Doodles. Their images are wonderful and the one that I worked with this one was amazing.

Delicious Doodles

Of course, when you read the title, we are working with fairies. They are so much like Angels that I like working with them. I love the name of the image I used. It is called "Endless Love." This fairy is with a dragon. You just have to see it. I also used the technique of shading. I have been wanting to learn how to do this and I'm now getting some lessons. Thank You Susan. For my first time I think it turned out pretty good. It took so long to do but was well worth it.

Here is the prize that Delicious Doodles is giving to our winner.

4 Digi's
Of the Winner's Choice
From the
Delicious Doodles Store

I will be back next Sunday with another great challenge.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE # 148

Welcome to another challenge at the My Grafico Challenge Blog. I'm hoping that you are enjoying the "Anything Goes" theme that we are still doing. This gives you alot of different styles and themes that you can work with. I know that I like the fact that I can work on images that I choose and the different designer's of the images that I use. I try to move around to different designer's so you can see a variety of their work. Everyone has their own way of designing the images. They can use clip-art or digital images that you can color on your own.

This challenge I used an image from Sanqunetti Designs. The digital image that I used was called Baby Basket. I was able to color the image on my own. I love to show how I envision the image that the designer's made. Let me show you the image I used before I colored it.

By now you know that when we are taking pictures we make the card with a scene around it. Since this was a cute little baby I was thinking of putting out my kids baby pictures and put the card in front. But, of course, I couldn't find one of the baby pictures. That is just my luck so I just used one of my little girl doll. I have had her for so long. So here is the picture of my card with the doll.

The sentiment says little one but I couldn't get it to show that good. It's pink and white with four white rhinestones. I do hope that you like the card. My daughter loved the quilt that I put different colors on. Well, this is our next challenge so don't forget to go to My Grafico Challenge Blog. This challenge will end on April 10th at midnight. Well that's all for now so I will see you in the next two weeks. Have a Wonderful Week!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 152 "FOOD OR DRINK"

Good Morning!! Here we are with another Sunday that just snuck up on me and poked me on the back. LOL It's suppose to be a great weather day until tonight when it's suppose to snow. They are saying we will get 3 - 6 inches of snow by Monday morning. I won't believe it until I see it. I have heard the weatherman say it so many times and nothing ever comes. What a disappointment. Knowing my luck it will snow on Easter when it's suppose to be sunny and warm. My husbands Aunt and Uncle are suppose to have a big Easter Egg hunt so that's when you get the bad weather. The kids would be disappointed if they didn't have that.

Enough about me again. Let me tell you who our sponsor is for this week's challenge. It is no other then The Paper Shelter.

The Paper Shelter

"Food and Drink" is a great theme for a card. You can make so much with food. I had fun with my image. The image that I was able to used is called The Final Touch. It is an adorable little boy on top of a hot fudge Sunday. I tried to make it look like an old fashion style sundae with the doily and the spoons. Here is the prize that The Paper Shelter is giving to the winner this week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #151 "MUST USE GREEN"

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Are you wearing your green today? I have a little on but I don't go all out in green. I remember being pregnant with my first son and wanting him to be born on this day. He was born on the nineteenth instead. His birthday is Tuesday. He turns 24 and I always called him my guinea pig because I learned how to be a mother with him. I think we turned out pretty good. We are very close now and have always been. I'm glad that he can still call me and be able to talk to me about anything. I just want to send out a Happy Birthday to my son. I'm very proud of you and love you to the moon and back.

Well let's get to our great challenge his week. The sponsor for this challenge is The Cutting Cafe.

THE CUTTING CAFE

I never thought about using all shades of one color to make a card but it was alot of fun. I was surprised how much green I had in my scrapbooking stash. Maybe because I don't use it that much. The Cutting Cafe gave us a set called One Spring Day and we used what we wanted from the set. It is a great set to have. You can make alot of cards from it. I used the chick because Easter is coming up and I can give it to someone for Easter. Here is the prize that The Cutting Cafe is giving to the winner of this challenge

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #147 "ANYTHING GOES"

Welcome to another challenge from My Grafico's Challenge Blog. I know that I have not posted awhile for this blog but life has been in the way. I lost my grandmother two days after Christmas and she was my best friend. I can honestly say that as of today I'm still morning for her. This has been one of the hardest things I have had to go through. I lost my creative side. I'm starting to get it back but still having a hard time with it. Well enough of my sorrow. I bet you would like to learn more about the challenge we are having now.

Well as you know by now, My Grafico Challenges are "Anything Goes." This is a great challenge because you can enter anything you want for your project. I'm lucky because I get to pick any image from the store to work on. I'm always looking at the babies and the animals. This week I decided to go with an image from Revi Devi named Festive Sock Monkey's. Sock Monkey's started out as a joke at my house when my son had no idea what one was. I loved them when I was little and was telling him about them. So I bought one and hung it where he could see it every day and now I don't know how many I have but I make sure he knows where they are in the house. It's so fun to tease him. Let me show you the images I was glad to pick from.

Since we started staging our cards, I pulled out some of my sock monkeys to use in my picture of my card. I think it turned out really cute. Here is the card that I made with the festive sock monkey's.

I hope you like the card and all my sock monkey's. Sorry for the price tag on the one. It's a beanie baby and I couldn't get it off. This is one of my favorite cards and pictures. You have until Sunday, March 24th at midnight. Just go to My Grafico Challenge Blog and add your project to the linky. Well that's all I have for today. I hope you have a wonderful week and I will see you in two weeks.

THE ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 150 "BIRTHDAY CARDS"

Is it really Sunday again? I think this was the fastest week yet. Loosing an hour of sleep sure didn't help any. That was an hour that I could have used to do more crafting in. Except last night we decided to make it movie night with he kids. My son that lives outside the home didn't want to come because of the kids. I miss having the whole family being together. With the way the kids are growing you have to get some family time before they won't want to hang out with the older parents. I guess my husband and I will have our own movie nights. I don't know how that would be without having a kid here with us. Maybe we can get the grand kids to come up and stay with us a night. LOL.

This week we have a new sponsor that you may not have heard of. They are new to us and they have the greatest images that you will enjoy. They are Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner

Who doesn't need a Birthday Card to give? I have two birthdays this month so I can use this one for one of them. The image that I used for card is called "Birthday Mice." I love little mice when I find an image of one but this image has two. Their birthday mice is having a big chunk of cheese as their birthday cake. Well with this new sponsor, they are giving this as the prize for this week's challenge.

THE ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 149 "EASTER"

Good Morning!! Welcome to another challenge this Sunday morning. This week has gone by so quickly. If your a girl scout mom, you may have the same thing in your living room as I do. I can't stand seeing all these boxes in here. To top it all off, she was the highest seller in her group. So you must know that is alot of boxes. On a sad note, she will be quiting after we give out these cookies. She is getting busy with things that she just had to give some things up. She is wanting to add track to her schedule this year. This starts in April along with soccer. I'm going to be a taxi cab again. LOL I want to also say I'm a very proud mother of Jelissa. She didn't win the Science Fair she was in but received a certificate for excellence on her project. She worked hard for over a month on this and it was great. I didn't have to remind her to do it and she made sure she didn't wait until the last minute. A big "CONGRATULATIONS" to her. Love you to the moon and back.

Our sponsor this week is our great Robyn's Fetish.

This was a fun week to work on our cards. The theme is Easter. I didn't even realize that it was in March this year. So close to my oldest son's birthday. I love the image that I was able to use this week. A cute little bunny named Inga. She is holding an Easter egg surrounded by some flowers. How adorable. So if you enter a project this week this is the prize you will be able to win.
