ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 331 "ANYTHING GOES"

It's me again to tell you about another challenge that The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is having this week. Anything goes is everyone's favorite. You can add any project to win this week. Either it be a card, scrapbook layout, bookmark or any other idea you come up with for your entry. Just have fun with what ever you do.

We have another great sponsor for this week's challenge. It is A Creative Need Digital Stamps. This is an etsy store that has a variety of different stamps for you to choose from. With the card that I made this week, she was generous to let me use the stamp "Cottage Window." I seen the window and thought about the cottages that sit back in the woods where no one can see them. I wanted to make a scrapbook layout that I usually do when we do "Anything Goes" but could not think of how to do it so here is the card I decided on.

That's my card made with "Cottage Window." I want to let you know (before I tell you how I made the card) what the prize from A Creative Need Digital Stamps will be giving.

You can get this window if you participate. So, here is how I made this cute card. I told you that I thought cottages were way back in the woods, so I found this paper of limbs of pine trees. I then made different shapes with the paper and colored the cottage window. Pretty easy. It did take more time then you would think though. Not much but here is what I used.

I told you it was a short list. I just couldn't find any embellishments that went with it. I do wish there was more on it. It's not like me to make something simple. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you can add your project and see all the fabulous things that the other design team members have made. This is a great place to enter a challenge. Hope to see yours here. Enjoy the week ahead and the beginning of September.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 330 "CARD FOR MEN OR BOYS"

Hello on this glorious morning. Today, my husband and I are going to go and get his mother. She is going to make a brief stay up here until she gets the rest of her things packed. She just needs to get out of the house for some down time and she is not getting it there. That's because my son is living at her house and giving her grief. He will be renting the house after she moves out. I have lived with him for 23 years so I know how he can get on someones nerves.

We have Lacy Sunshine as our Sponsor for this week's challenge. Lacy Sunshine has sponsored several of our challenges and has the cutest images for you to look and chose from. She let me use her image called, "Larry Gnome - Surf's Up." He is absolutely adorable standing in the sand with is surf board in hand. Here he is with the card I made with him.

I think he turned out adorable. Here is what Lacy Sunshine is giving as her prize for this week.

I loved this Gnome and thought it would be great image to make something of. I found this piece of paper of the water coming onto the sand. A perfect place for Larry to be. Since he was on sand and some water, I decided to add seashells. Added some more embellishments and made the sentiment. My favorite part of that sentiment is how I made the word "Waves" look like they are waves with the blue in the water. Here is what I used to make this simple card.

Well, that's all that I have for you today. I do wish you will come back next Sunday for another great challenge from Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. There is a challenge every Sunday so mark your calendars to remind you to be here. Thank You for stopping!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 329 "GLITTER AND A BOW"

Hello to everyone!! Hope is all well with you today. I can honestly say that I had one great weekend. My grandson Hayden spent the whole weekend here. We played a lot which I'm starting to get old sitting on the floor. We took him school shopping. We have always bought his shoes since he was born. Had some take out food and watched these cartoons that was kind of weird from the ones I watched when I was little. It's Wonderful to be a Grandma!!

Toadstool Printables is our wonderful sponsor this week. Joyce has a great etsy store for you to see with a wide variety of different items. I was lucky that I was allowed to use her printable "Gnomes With Cardinal." Very cute image with the beautiful cardinal and cute little gnomes sitting in leaves. I used a piece of chipboard that has the word "Autumn" so that's what I call this card. Let's have a look;

Here is how I made my card this week. The first thing I did was color the image to see what colors I could use and find paper to match. We had to add a bow and I can honestly tell you that for some reason I just could not make one that looked good. I didn't feel right to just add a bought bow for it. So, I finally made this and put a gold glitter leaf on the middle. Then used many different Autumn flowers that are glittered and put them together with a dark orange leaf. I wanted to put the word Autumn on it but didn't want more white on the card. I was lucky and found this in a tote full of chipboard. Used Items:

Cardboard -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- DCWV
Handmade Bow -- Offrey Ribbon
Glittered Flowers --  Autumn Flowers From My Autumn Stash
Autumn Word Chipboard -- The Paper Studio
Glittered Leaves -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

This card just makes me want fall to come with the colder temperatures and beautiful fall leaves. Hope to see some Glitter and A Bow in our challenge this week. Just hop on over to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and enter those cards. Have a Lovely Week ahead and see you at the next new challenge.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 328 "PAPER PIECING"

Hope all is well with you. Are you excited about the Olympics that started Friday? There are many things I like to watch plus see who gets the most gold medals. The opening ceremonies are my favorite but I totally missed them this time. I had a major migraine and missed all of it. I have looked at some highlights but that was not the same. Let's begin with the challenge

Well we have the pleasure of having Robyn sponsor our challenge from her store The Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. As we usually do, she let us pick our own digital image from anywhere in her store. I wanted to pick out something big so you could see that I paper pieced my image. So, I picked "Rose." I wanted to make the petals separate so you could see the piecing. Here is my "Rose."

I made this rose into a sympathy card. I have the hardest time making these just because what it is meant for. So, I know in the future someone will be needing this card. The different kind of frames is from Sizzix Framelits. The package didn't have a name for what these shapes were called and if it did, I could find them no where. I paper pieced the rose and the leaves. I put a little lines in the leafs but don't know if you can see them. I cut every piece of the rose and then glue it on there. I then added the quote at the top and put flowers at the corner to kind of brighten it up some. The last thing I did was put an Angel on top of the flowers because I believe that your guardian Angel takes you to heaven. I will let you know where the items came from.

Thank You for reading my post again this week. I do enjoy sharing my cards and hoping you find inspiration from them. Let me see what you can do with paper piecing this week. Link them at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog so I can see them. Our design team is also sharing their cards with paper piecing on there. These are wonderful cards. Hope you have a Wonderful Week
