INCY WINCY MONDAY CHALLENGE "UP CYCLE A PAPER BAG"

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend with your family and friends. My daughter was in a parade today for all the veterans. Her band class does this every year and I think it is a great idea.

The challenge for this week is to up cycle a paper bag. I have never did one of these before so it was just a little tricky. I know there are many ways to up cycle the paper bag but I was lost.

Milk N Coffee are our sponsors for the challenge this week. I was able to use the image "Lisbeth and Love Fruit." This is a pretty little girl that has fruit that looks like hearts. So I used heart brads to go with the image. Milk N Coffee are generous this week by giving one lucky winner 5 Digital Stamps.

Here is the paper bag card that I made with a paper bag.

I used the brads to keep the card together. I wasn't sure how else to keep it together. I do like that this is recycling a paper bag. I crinkled it to look like it was used. It is brand new.  Let me tell you the few items that I used for making this.

This is the end of today's post. When you want to add your card to our challenge just go to Incy Wincy Monday Challenge and add it to the link at the end of the post there. You will also get to see all the design teams projects that they made. See You next week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 213 " ADD THREE BUTTONS"

Good Morning to you all. I hope that you are all enjoying this Memorial weekend with family and friends. I know that this is a time of remembering of the veterans who gave us our freedom but it's also a time of remembering others that we lost in the past. My grandmother is the one that I think of. She was my rock and also a mother. When I chose the image I did I wasn't thinking of Memorial Day. I chose it because of the angel and knew I wanted to make a sympathy card with it. I did not realize that Memorial Weekend was this weekend until I found the sentiment that I used. Sympathy cards are very hard to make but unfortunately they are cards that we need at some times in our life. You can never find the words right then and there but later you know what you would like to have said. I really hope you like the card because now it is one that is special to me. I think the card says it all and you may want to use the sentiment on a time when you can't find the words that you wanted to say.

Now I think we should work on the challenge at hand. I just wanted to say what my card was about and other things that is there. This week we have a great sponsor that has been here before. It is Limited Runs Digital Stamps. Again, there stamps are great and I love when we get the chance to pick one of their images to work with. The image that I chose is called "Heavenly Angel." She's very beautiful and I wanted to add my touch to it also. Now, here is the prize that Limited Runs will be giving out this week

3 Digital Stamps
From
The Limited Runs Digital Stamps Store

That is something I would like to have.  Well here is the card that I have become attached to.

So, how do you like it? Leave me a comment and let me know. Now I would like to share with you the items that I used to make this card and what company they came from if I know.

Paper -- The Paper Studio
Three Gold Star Buttons -- Sew-Ology
Gold Glitter Stars -- Knik Knacks by The Paper Studio
Glitter On Cloud -- Sparkles By Ranger (Crystal Ice)

That is it. Go out and spend time with your family because family is all you have these days. Sending in your cards you just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and add them to the link at the end of the post. Have a Beautiful Day and I will see you next week on the first day of June.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 212 "SHAPED CARDS ONLY -- NO RECTANGLE OR SQUARE CARDS"

Hello Everyone!! Hope you are having warmer weather then we are here. Had temperatures in the 80's and this morning it's on 60 something out. Were not suppose to get warm again until the end of this week. Which will be nice because my daughter has a parade on Saturday for Marching Band. Every year they honor the veterans in parades or cemeteries. The one year I couldn't go because my Grandmother passed the December before and the band was performing where she was and very close to her stone. It is very nice that they do this. So I hope you all have a Wonderful Memorial Day!!

This week our challenge is a fun one. Seeing all the shapes of cards that people come up with is amazing. I always want to know how they made them but I don't have time to do them all. I can honestly say that I had creative block on this one. I know I have made many but just couldn't think this week. My image from Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner did help me decide my shape. I used the image "Not Mushroom for a Mouse House -- # 3877." This is the way it is listed in their store. I love little animals so this was the perfect image for me. Also, Dragonsmoore, Spyders Other Corner has some of the cutest images that you will see. They are also offering this generous prize to this week's lucky winner.

The Winner's Choice Of
5 Digital Stamps
From
Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner

Now that you know the image I used I will tell you that the shape I used is a hexagon. I actually made it a little easy on me. I printed the image inside the hexagon. Easier for me. Here is my card.

I made the card a little brighter when I was putting it on the computer. For some reason it kept turning out real light. could be when I took the picture. I usually take them at a certain time of the day but I had things to do so I did it early. I knew I had this image so when I put in another order from Dress It Up I seen this and had to get them. They are part of their new collection. Well here is the items I used to made this adorable card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- K & Company
Mice -- Dress It Up
Butterflies -- K & Company
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Not that many items but I think it did the job for this card. Well it's time for me to go. I have laundry to do before husband and daughter go back to work and school. It's a never ending job. I don't mind doing it if I didn't have to fold it. I fold it and my daughter just puts the pile on the floor in from of her dresser. Well I hope you have a great day and I will see you next Sunday. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

INCY WINCY MONDAY CHALLENGE "BIRTHDAY CARDS"

Wow!! It's Monday already. I hope everyone had a Wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. I had a very pleasant day besides me doing grocery shopping and doing laundry. My daughter actually cleaned the house while I was at the store. That was a great surprise.

This is another great challenge. I have many birthday's in each and every month and this will help me when I need one. I don't have to make one up real quick now. I'm sure that you all will need a birthday card at one time or another so this challenge is perfect for you.

Dilly Beans Digi Stamps are our sponsors for this week's challenge. One of the best things about their images is the way they make the eyes. They are always big and beautiful. The image that I was allowed to use is called Daisy Girl Frame. She is so cute that I made her into a princess. Dilly Beans is going to give one lucky winner this week 3 Digital Stamps. This is very generous of them.

Now here is the card that I made with the Daisy Girl Frame.

I named my card Pink Princess. I really hope you like the card that I made with this image. The card looks like it's not lined up but it is. The swirls and the way I had used the camera to take the picture it just makes it look that way. I just wanted you to know. Here are the items that I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Rhinestones -- From My Stash

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Wishing you all the best on this beautiful day. I'm going to do what mother's do. I'm doing laundry and I'm going to the grocery store for the weekly trip. My kids come on different days to see me. My oldest was here Friday and gave this beautiful basket of flowers to me. I don't know what kind they are but they are my favorite color. Purple. I was real busy this week making my mother's day cards. Three of them for mom's and two for my blogs. I never did so many in one week. But, I can tell you that it was well worth it. It feels good to give something that you put love into then anything else. So, again, Happy Mother's Day!!

INCY WINCY MONDAY CHALLENGE " 4 OR MORE PAPERS AND BRADS"

Happy Monday morning.  Here we are starting another Monday again and the first full week of May. I can't believe that it is May already. I wish I knew where this year was going to.  I was told the older you get, the more time flies. I am seeing that is very true.

I really had fun with this challenge. This is one that I had ever done before. It was interesting trying to find four or more papers to match and the brads to match with it. I did do it and wouldn't mind doing another one for the challenge.

Lacy Sunshine Stamps is our sponsor for this week. I love Lacy Sunshine digi's. I have found so many cute images at their store. I don't know how many I have used before but I know I will be back there to get more. I was allowed to use the image Butter Cup Butterfly. This is an adorable image and I think you will like it to. Lacy Sunshine Stamps will be giving away 3 digital images to our lucky winner this week.

Now let me show you what I did with the Butter Cup Butterfly

I hope you enjoy the card. I loved the soft colors and the butterfly paper was my inspiration for everything else that I did. Here's my list of items that I used for the card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 210 "MOTHER'S DAY CARDS"

I hope you are waking up to the glorious morning that I have. It is so beautiful outside you just want to get your stuff done and get out doors. My dogs have been sun bathing the last two days and they are out there now. With all this good weather I had a fantastic day with my daughter yesterday. We haven't done anything with the two of us in a long time so we did yesterday. She has a band program and a chorus program right after that one. the band is doing great. We then went to the mall looking for shoes for her formal dance this Friday, then off to the food court where she sits and texts and I listen. But we are together. We went to Hobby Lobby and was shocked that we came out of there with money in our pockets. That was the first with me. Probably because my husband wasn't there to pick up the rest of the bill that I usually go over. After all of this shopping I take her to her friends house so they can spend time together. What a great day I had. Love You Jelissa!!

Now I'm ready for this week's challenge. I'm lucky because I already had my Mother's Day gift but we are doing Mother's Day Cards this week. I can't wait to see all the one's you make. I always see many beautiful cards in this category. Our beautiful sponsor this week is none other then Robyn. There is more beautiful stuff in her store that you need to see. The image that I was lucky to used was called Valentine Hibiscus. It does say Valentine but it worked perfectly with the card that I made. Robyn is going to give one lucky winner this prize for this challenge

3 Images

The Winner's Choice
Out Of
Robyn's Fetish's Store

Now I want to show you the card that I made from the Valentine Hibiscus.

I really hope you like it. I made the hearts at the top to match the big one with the flowers. I wanted to add just some more flowers because it was a Mother's Day card. I read this quote out of a book and knew that I wanted to use it on here. My feeling are always on the inside of the card. I think the paper went great with all the other flowers. Here's where everything came from that I used on this card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio
Paper --  DCWV
Big Glitter Flower -- Prima Flowers
Little Flowers -- Wild Orchid
