ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #238 "THINGS WITH WINGS"

Hello on this early Sunday morning. Have you seen any snow yet where you live. We have been having flurries but tonight we are suppose to get 2 - 4 inches tonight into tomorrow. I love the snow and this is my favorite season but I'm not ready for snow days from the schools. I am grateful that it's going to hit this evening. My grandson's birthday party starts at noon. It's hard to believe that he is five already. Next year he will be in kindergarten. I still remember the day that his father was starting his kindergarten year. The bus didn't pick him up the first day and he was upset. It's funny how I remember these things but my kids don't. They think I'm telling them stories all the time.

Although it's close to the winter season my card is a summertime card. I think it turned out good if I say so myself. Delicious Doodles is our sponsor this week. If you visit their site they have a new beautiful Poppy Wreath that is new on their site. I was so grateful that they let me use the image "Daisies and Butterflies." When I picked this I new exactly what paper that I wanted to use. This image is really pretty and I enjoyed making it look like my own. Delicious Doodles is also giving away this following prize.

4 Digital Doodles

Let me show you how the paper and the image look together. I hope you think that everything looks good together.

I tried to make my daisies look like the ones on the paper. They look a little darker when it's in front of you. These embellishments were perfect for this card also. I do like when everything comes together. Here are the items that I used to make this "Daisies and Butterflies" card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 211 "CARDS WITH FLOWERS IN THE IMAGE"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Wishing you all the best on this beautiful day. I'm going to do what mother's do. I'm doing laundry and I'm going to the grocery store for the weekly trip. My kids come on different days to see me. My oldest was here Friday and gave this beautiful basket of flowers to me. I don't know what kind they are but they are my favorite color. Purple. I was real busy this week making my mother's day cards. Three of them for mom's and two for my blogs. I never did so many in one week. But, I can tell you that it was well worth it. It feels good to give something that you put love into then anything else. So, again, Happy Mother's Day!!

Starting on this beautiful day is our challenge # 211. Let's make cards that has flowers in the image that you are using. I really love the image that Delicious Doodles let me use for this week's challenge. Just click on Delicious Doodles above and you will be taken right to their site. I made this easy for you. The flowers in the watering can is what brought me to the choice that I made. Delicious Doodles made another fantastic image again that I was great full to use. INCY WINCY MONDAY CHALLENGE "CREATE A BOOKMARK OR A TAG"

Hello this Monday morning!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I was able to see my grand kids and see what my son was up to. He is trying to fix up the house he has. It just needs a little work done to it.

As you see from the title, our challenge is create a bookmark or a tag. I ended up making a tag. The image that I used is called "Snow Drop Fairy."  I don't know if you know but I love angels. Fairies are close enough looking like an angel. So if you see a lot of angels you will know why.

Let's all get excited this week because we have two sponsors this week. Two Winner's is great. This week the first sponsor is Delicious Doodles.

Delicious Doodles will be giving one lucky winner four digital images. There are wonderful images at their site. The second sponsor is Digital Delights

Digital Delights is going to give the other lucky winner a $5.00 Gift Certificate to use at their store. You will have a hard time spending that with all the great images that they have also.

Since I was using the Snow Drop Fairy I wanted to put glitter on the tag. She looks like she is on the ground under all the flowers. That's why I put a little brown on the tag. So, here is my tag I made for this challenge.

Yes I made the picture a little big but I wanted you to see the glitter on the flowers and it's on the background paper also. Here is the items that I used to make this tag.

Base Of The Tag -- The Paper Company
Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Glitter -- Ranger (Crystal Ice)
String --  Decorative Trim (Twisted Cord)
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Well, I'm done for this Monday and I hope you enjoyed the tag. Please go to Incy Wincy Designs Monday Challenge to add your tag or mark book to our challenge. Have a great rest off the week and I will see you next Monday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG CHALLENGE #173 "PUT A FRAME AROUND IT"

Welcome to another challenge this Sunday. I think you will find this challenge fun. I did. When I seen that we are doing this challenge I had an idea in my head immediately. As you know, my blog is also about Making Memories. Growing up there were no pictures laying around for us to look at. There wasn't those family albums. I wanted to make my children a Family Memory book to see who their family is. My Grandson even asks who is in the picture. I had the picture in my mind when picking out my frame and I also switched things up by doing a scrapbook page to add to that book. It's a picture of my mom from mother's day. We have not spent mother's day together in over a decade. Many reasons behind that but now I can say that there is progress with this mother - daughter relationship.
Let's get to the sponsor of the week. Delicious Doodles is that sponsor. They were kind to our design team and let us pick one of their great frames. The frame I chose is called " HYDRANGEA AND BUTTERFLY FRAME." I had never had hydrangea flowers before so I had to look them up to see what colors they come in. When I seen they came in blue, I knew that was the color I wanted to use. Then I picked two colors that would look good with blue for the little frames I made. You will want to win this challenge so you can win the prize Delicious Doodles is giving.
The Winner Will Receive
4 Digi's From The
Delicious Doodles Store
Now I'm excited to show you the layout that I made with this hydrangea and butterfly frame with the picture of my mom.

I hope you like my layout. It is done in traditional style scrapbooking then digital. I like digital but I like that I can make my own things to add to my page. Delicious Doodles made a beautiful frame and the hydrangea is absolutely beautiful. The flower in the upper left hand corner was a flower that I made by hand. A lovely woman named Edwina did a tutorial on making flowers and this is where I learned to make these kind of flowers. Thank You Edwina. Now, here is the list of the products I used to make this layout.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Handmade Flower -- Butterfly Ribbon from Ribbon Trims
Blue Ribbon from Ribbon FX
Butterfly Embellishments -- K & C Company
Font -- Script MT Bold
Picture -- Taken By My Daughter
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Well I hope you enjoyed the layout and my post today. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you need to go to put your project in. Just remember that you need to have a frame around a poem, picture or quote. I wish you a wonderful Sunday and a great week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 153 "FAIRIES"

HAPPY EASTER!!

Good Morning. First I want to tell you all to have a wonderful day. Spend this day with family and friends. It's starting to be a little rainy here but it is suppose to clear up. I get to enjoy the day cooking, cleaning, and some scrapbooking. My husband will be working on my son's truck. The last couple of years we just haven't had a big family dinner or gathering. Everyone has their own things to do. Holidays are not what they use to be when I was young. You start missing it after your kids start leaving home and have their own families.

Our sponsor for this first week of April is Delicious Doodles. Their images are wonderful and the one that I worked with this one was amazing.

Of course, when you read the title, we are working with fairies. They are so much like Angels that I like working with them. I love the name of the image I used. It is called "Endless Love." This fairy is with a dragon. You just have to see it. I also used the technique of shading. I have been wanting to learn how to do this and I'm now getting some lessons. Thank You Susan. For my first time I think it turned out pretty good. It took so long to do but was well worth it.

Here is the prize that Delicious Doodles is giving to our winner.
