ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 348 "ANYTHING GOES"

Happy Holidays!! I'm writing this ahead of time because I will actually have all my kids home for Christmas. I wanted to spend every moment I could with them but still wanted you to read my blog with this great challenge that everyone loves. "Anything Goes" I hope you are enjoying your day also.

Our very own Robyn's will be hosting our "Anything Goes" challenge this week. You can find her store at The Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More to see all her beautiful images that she has. The image that I used today is called "Stevie The Snowman." He is so adorable that I have three of him on my card. I know I always make a scrapbook layout but just couldn't find any pictures of my kids in the snow. Now let's see what Robyn will be giving our lucky winner.

So here is "Stevie the Snowman"

I thought it turned out to be a great winter card. You don't necessarily have to use it as a Christmas card. I love the papers I found since the snowmen look like they may be sledding down a hill. The hill is glittered paper that I made the hills out of. I colored the snowmen and added the embellishments. Was a real easy make. Here is the items that I did use.

Glittered White Paper -- Doddlebug Designs Inc.
Paper -- Colorbok
All Embellishments -- Dress It Up

Thank You for stopping by and I hope to see your creations over on The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Have a Wonderful Holiday and a Great New Year!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 331 "ANYTHING GOES"

It's me again to tell you about another challenge that The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is having this week. Anything goes is everyone's favorite. You can add any project to win this week. Either it be a card, scrapbook layout, bookmark or any other idea you come up with for your entry. Just have fun with what ever you do.

We have another great sponsor for this week's challenge. It is A Creative Need Digital Stamps. This is an etsy store that has a variety of different stamps for you to choose from. With the card that I made this week, she was generous to let me use the stamp "Cottage Window." I seen the window and thought about the cottages that sit back in the woods where no one can see them. I wanted to make a scrapbook layout that I usually do when we do "Anything Goes" but could not think of how to do it so here is the card I decided on.

That's my card made with "Cottage Window." I want to let you know (before I tell you how I made the card) what the prize from A Creative Need Digital Stamps will be giving.

Winner's Choice
Of
3 Digital Stamps

You can get this window if you participate. So, here is how I made this cute card. I told you that I thought cottages were way back in the woods, so I found this paper of limbs of pine trees. I then made different shapes with the paper and colored the cottage window. Pretty easy. It did take more time then you would think though. Not much but here is what I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- DCWV
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I told you it was a short list. I just couldn't find any embellishments that went with it. I do wish there was more on it. It's not like me to make something simple. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you can add your project and see all the fabulous things that the other design team members have made. This is a great place to enter a challenge. Hope to see yours here. Enjoy the week ahead and the beginning of September.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 324 "ANYTHING WITH WATER"

Hello! Hope all is well with you. I have had a very odd week. My son moved out again and it's peaceful with him and his sister not fighting. This is something that I will have to get use to and probably love when I do. This was his first Birthday not living at home. He turned 24 yesterday. Didn't even see him. It was weird when my first son wasn't home for his first birthday.

This week's sponsor is Angie's Digital Stamps. Her store has cute images and also sentiments that you can choose. She was so kind that she let me use her stamp "Whale" that worked great for this challenge. I have been wanting to use a picture of my grandson's wrinkled hand after he went swimming with me and my husband. The name of the card is "Having A Whale Of A Time" which is a sentiment that I used on my layout shown here:

This is the prize one lucky winner will receive

So, I would like to explain to you what I did to this Scrapbook Layout with my image of the "Whale." My Grandson (Hayden that was 9 months at the time) went to the pool for the first time with us. I took a picture with his wrinkled hand and wanted to use it for a layout one day. So I made around 20 copies of his hand. I cut them all out and made this cute circle with all of them. I knew there would be a hole in the middle and knew where to put my image of the Whale. The whale is so much brighter if you seen it in person. I had many pictures with Hayden in the water that made picking the right pictures hard. I made the pictures in circles to kind of look like bubbles. The background paper of water made the finishing touch. I have to say if you never made something like this, it takes a lot of time. Here is my ingredients.

Cardstock --  Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio
Paper --  The Paper Studio
Font Of Sentiment  --  PW Cartoon Maker
Glitter On Whale  --  Ranger (Crystal)

Since it's Summer, I bet that there are a lot of photos laying around just to make a great card with. You may have water in the back ground or you have a cute image you have been wanting to use. When your project is finished just add them to the challenge at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. I love looking at what other creative people make. I'm at the end so have an awesome week and I will see you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 294 "ADD A CHRISTMAS DIE CUT"

Good Morning to everyone. Hope you are enjoying December. It doesn't feel like it though around here. The temperatures has been in the 50's and 60's. Today it is suppose to reach in the 70's. We know were not having a white Christmas around here. Just a little bit of cold weather would help out though. I still don't have all my shopping done but I am getting close. I did finish my Christmas tree which if you follow me on facebook you would have seen it. I did it by myself and it was a little depressing. No one to talk to or even sing a little tune. My husband did let me splurge a little and I bought a new Angel for my tree topper. She's white and will go with every thing. Next year I am going to figure out how to put white lights under her dress and behind my Nativity Scene.

This week's challenge gives you another chance to make some final Christmas Cards. You can add that Christmas die that you have been waiting to use. Anne's Digital Art is our great artist's of the week. She is a lovely artist and she actually allowed me to work with her image "Christmas Balls." These are three Christmas ornaments sitting together in a pile. I colored all three different colors and put some glitter on a couple. I will show them on my card but first I need to tell you the prize Anne is giving this week.

4 Digital Stamps

Anne's Digital Art

Here is the card with her "Christmas Balls" which I maned my card, "Ornament's Of Our Homes."

I like that I only had three colors all over this card. (Except for the little bit of Gold) I was surprised that I found this sentiment in a book that I was looking through for another card. I was happy when  I found them at the same time. Saved me time looking or thinking for a sentiment for one of the cards. Here is my list of items I used.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- My Christmas Stash
Red, Gold, Ice Stickles -- Ranger
Sentiment -- Ultimate Guide To The Perfect Card
Font -- Monotype Corsiva
Circle with Balls Background -- Spellbinders
Embossing Folder -- Cuttlebug

Colored Pencils

Thank You for stopping by. It was great to let you know about the challenge, the sponsor and where you go to enter. Take a look at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog for all the cards the design team made and all the answers you have questions to.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #290 "WET OR DRY EMBOSSING"

Hope everyone is having a happy morning. I've been fighting a sinus infection but I get them every time the weather changes. I wish I knew why but this has been happening for years. The only good thing that happen this weekend is that I kept my grand kids for the weekend. They wanted to play with their aunt and uncle more than us. It was nice to just watch them. They grow up to fast. The one funny thing was when we were on our way home they kept talking about banana's. Finally, I did ask them what they were talking about and it was funny. They thought the moon looked like a banana and found it funny. The things they think of and amuse their selves with.

Let's get to the challenge which I chose to use the dry embossing. I can be honest and say I have not tried wet embossing. It is something that I need to learn though. I was so lucky this week to use and image from Aurorawings. The image is called, "Sea Turtle Kiss." Beautiful little girl underwater with her turtles. I have to honestly say that I have bought many of Mitzi's images. They are beautiful and fun to color. Every once in awhile she will sell one of her new coloring books. Something you may want to watch for. So, Thank You Mitzi for letting me use this beautiful image. Mitzi is giving this to a lucky winner.

Let's see the card that I made with "Sea Turtle Kisses."

See, she is very beautiful. I took some leaves and used glue dots to keep them together to make is look like seaweed. Found these turtles inside a button and took them apart to add some more of them. Then I added the bubbles to make it look like they are breathing coming up. You can't see the background paper that good but it is the same pattern as the embossing on this card. Now let me tell you where I bought everything.

It's hard to say but we are at the end of another post with a new challenge. To read up on the rules in case you may have forgot, just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and read up on them. Also take a look at what the design team made and enter that project your going to make. Feel free to leave some comments to let us know how you like what we made.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 286 "MORE THAN 2 PUMPKINS ON THE CARD OR PROJECT"

Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was great for once. My little bother married the love of his life. The ceremony was very beautiful and so was the bride. Yes, my brother was very handsome. The two of them are very blessed to have each other. They are an amazing couple. They had a ceremony with their closest family and friends. Then on Saturday they had a second reception for everyone they knew and more of the family that didn't come Friday night. They were married at a place called the Kelton House Museum. In the basement was a display of the old under ground railroad that people had been through. They had a lot of information on people that had been through there. This place was so beautiful. Perfect place for this perfect couple.

Sorry so long but I am still excited. DeeDee's Digis is our sponsor for this week's challenge. They offer many things in their store. There are digital images, digital papers, digi of the month and that's just a little of what is there. I would really love for you take a little bit of your time to visit their store. This store does offer a lot for your digital needs. The digital image I used was from a set called "Autumn Blessings." Since we had to use more that 2 pumpkins, I used one of the images three times and used their sentiment of "Happy Thanksgiving." They are offering a great prize.

That's something you would want to enter for. Especially using pumpkins for the holidays coming up. So, lets show you two of the images I used to make my Thanksgiving Card.

I hope you like it. The row of three pumpkins is one of the images I used and the Happy Thanksgiving is the second. I wanted the candles to look like they were a cream color so they would be noticeable. I have pumpkin paper, two more 3D pumpkins and the strip of pumpkins above the image. I wanted to put as many pumpkins as I could for this card. So here is the items used and who made them.

Another posts that I'm done with this month. It's going so fast that November will be here before long. The counting down for Christmas just makes me feel a little rushed already to get it done. How crazy is that. Just remember that Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog if where you need to be to see the challenge and the Design Teams Work.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #285 "USE LOTS OF ORANGE"

Good Sunday Morning!! I'm hoping everyone is at least. I'm just glad that my Saturday is over. My little brother is getting married Friday evening and I had to go and find a dress to wear. I don't mind shopping for others or with others but not for myself. All it does is depress me and I end up crying. I'm not lucky like some of those women that put on a great dress and walk out looking perfect. I am what America calls the average size woman that industries don't make pretty or cute clothes for. If you do find something that you like, it never looks the same on as it did off. So after a day of shopping, I ended up with a nice shirt and dress pants. The usual for me because nothing else works. I would like to wear a dress just one time.

Oak Pond Creations is our sponsor of this week's challenge. This is an etsy store that has very cute images. They have sponsored some of our challenges before and we are grateful that they are sponsoring us again this week. I choose the digital image "Halloween Friends." There is a owl, cat, and bat. I added some ghosts to be friends right along with them. This card is a new fold that I have never tried before. But, before I tell you about the card, I want to let you know about the prize for this week.

3 Digital Images
From
Oak Pond Creations Store

With the card that I made, I used a Double Gated Fold. I wanted to try something different and I think I did pretty good. The only thing that I think is wrong is the very first fold. I think it's suppose to turn the opposite way but I didn't figure is out until the whole thing was done. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The only thing I would want to change is the size of the card. I would have wanted to make it a little bigger. So here is the card with "Halloween Friends."

I hope you like it. You may be able to see that first fold and judge for yourself if it's turned the right or wrong way. I have had that little sign that says boo since I started scrapbooking. I just found it in the move. I have more with different sayings that are going to become useful in the future. I tried to get the picture to show up brighter but I think the orange I used was just to bright. I used a little bit of the patterned paper behind the image and on the outside of the card. Here is where everything came from

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & My Stash
Paper -- DCWV
Boo Sign -- EK Success
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
1 1/4" Circle -- Close To My Heart
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I don't know if you will find any of the boo signs but you can use anything in that spot. If you have a time making a card, I would suggest trying to make one of these. I found the directions on the Internet. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you will see it all. The challenge for this week, the place where you add your project, tutorials, and we also have a newsletter for you to sign up for. Lots of information and the design teams cards are there also. So, have a look and I will see you next week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #283 "SQUARE OR RECTANGLE CARDS"

Hello Again!! Hope everyone had a great week. Mine was very emotional. I found out that my carpal tunnel has come back and it is much worse this time. My fingers will stay numb if the medicine will not work. If that doesn't work then a test on the nerves around my wrist, then onto surgery. I'm trying to avoid the surgery but they say sooner or later it is going to have to be done. I have a hard time working on things for a period of times. Mornings are the best so that's when I try to get everything done that I can. I'm still getting my cards done and some layouts but when I can't I will be devastated. Let's get to a better subject. Out new challenge.

This week's challenge is sponsored by Lacy Sunshine. Her store is so colorful and she has the cutest images. I think I have said it before but I'm going to say it again. The images with the big eyes draws me to her store. I think the eyes make the images even cuter. The image that she graciously let me use is called "Winnie Light Tester." Winnie is so cute with her big eyes and she is trying to untangle a string of lights for a Christmas Tree. She even has a cute little light on the top of her hat. I'm glad that Lacy Sunshine was a sponsor for us again. I know I really appreciate it. She is also giving out a nice prize for someone to win.

3 Digital Stamps

Lacy Sunshine Store.

Now that I have explained Lacy Sunshine's store and my image let me show you the card that I made. I know it will be obvious but I made a rectangle card.

I tried every way I could but could not get the colors of her shirt to show up. I used a coral and lavender to color the shirt. I wish you could see it because the color is there. I had those individual lights that I wanted to use and I just bought this tree even though it's old die cut. So, these are the items I used for making this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- DCWV
Christmas Tree -- Spellbinder's Shape-abilities (2012 Holiday Tree)
Embellishments -- Dress It Up

Well I'm at another end of a post. I also have another Christmas card done for Christmas. I need to see how many more I need. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog has all the rules for the challenge and cards from our great design team to give you some inspiration.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #281 "CARDS WITH NUMBERS ON THEM"

Good Morning!! It may be dreary here but I'm happy to wake up in my home. It's starting to feel like home and just not a house we bought. It's taking me awhile to get everything unpacked but it's getting closer and closer. Still trying to find some of my scrapbooking stuff but I'm impressed with what I have found. There is stuff I never knew I had. I had a smaller place so things were placed anywhere they would go. I must have forgotten all those places because it's like Christmas opening a box. Don't get wrong, I'm still going to stores to get things that I haven't found yet. I'm still loving that because some items end up in the cart that I wasn't looking for. You can never have enough supplies. I have to Thank those people that didn't put the items I needed where they were suppose to be. LOL

Bugaboo Digi Stamps is our sponsor this week who let me use their great image. This is a store that you should really put in your favorites and subscribe to the newsletter. I get an e-mail from them with a freebie you can get from their store and they show their new releases. Love it. So here is a little about my image. Bugaboo had stamps with numbers and little people standing with them. I picked "Peekers 4" because my grand daughter will be four in April plus the little person is a girl. How could I go wrong with this. So before I show you my card, here is the prize someone will win on this challenge.

$21.00 Gift Certificate

Bugaboo Digi Stamp Store

WOW!! What a great prize. So, here is "Your 4th Birthday."

I had this idea of making the card in the shape of the number four. I'm glad that it turned out. I really like the way that it turned out. The two sided paper helped me match the colors perfectly. I may have to try them a little more. Here are the items that I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Final Touch
Paper -- My Mind's Eye (Lost and Found 2)
Template I Used -- Woodpile Fun (Needed Something Sturdy)
Pink Pearls -- Prima (Say It With Pearls)
Big White Flower -- Handmade Prima Flowers
White Flowers With Beads -- Hobby Lobby
All Other Flowers -- Wild Orchid Crafts

I really hope you enjoyed the post that I did today. Hopefully it will give you some inspiration for you to make your card. All the rules are on Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and while yo are there take a look at what the other team members made with their number. I will see you next week with a whole new challenge.

Don't forgot that we are still having our Dt call until the end of the month. You don't need any experience to join. Come and join us. You will be glad you did. The information for this is also on the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #274 "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"

I hope everyone is having a nice start to their day. I'm still drinking the coffee to wake me up. It's been a very long and stressful week here. We are getting to the end of the loan process and hopefully close on our new home this Friday. The loan officer says that we will close and then he says it will be real close to it. I have everyone lined up to help me move and my husband took his vacation to try and get everything moved. He better make it work so we close Friday. I can clean our old house the week after. I am getting excited but preparing myself in case things don't work out the way it should. I will let you know how the process is going.

We have a great sponsor that has been here before. It's Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner. Every Wednesday you would want to go and see the Freebie for the day. Who doesn't like free. She also has an amazing image called the Snowy Oak Tree. There is a lot of detail in this tree and I love the images with lots of detail. Since we were doing Christmas in July I used the cutest image. He is called, "Hedgie's Christmas Tree." He is trimming the tree with his son or could be daughter if you like. Bunch of presents under the tree they are working on. So, since we are doing Christmas in July I decided to make a scrapbook layout with more pictures from our Christmas in 2014. This one has pictures of my husband and him mom. It's very rare to get a picture of my husband so when I took these two I was lucky. I also never have made a scrapbook page with his mom on one. I also have two pictures of our Christmas Tree on the page. So let's see what Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner is giving to a lucky winner this week.

5 Digital Stamps

Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner Store

I'm really excited to show you this layout. I really think it turned out nice. So here it is.

I loved coloring the hedge hog. There are three different colors in his fur. I did use the lines and colored each one a different color. I think it turned out great. This was really a fun image to work with. I was going to make the image larger but then I thought that's all you would see more then the whole layout. This is the first layout that I used six pictures in. Trying to do something new with every layout. Here are the items I used to make this.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & My Paper Stash
Paper -- DCWV & Canvas Corp.
Presents -- Dress It Up
3D Glitter Christmas Trees -- Christmas Crafts
Font -- Monotype
Sentiment -- Book Inspiration With Me Changing The Words Around
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I'm not sure if I told you last week but I will be gone during August but always check back because I might get a chance to make some of the cards. I really hope you like my layout and please leave me a comment. You can see all the projects our wonderful design team made at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Invite your friends. I think everyone can make something for Christmas. See you all soon!!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #274 "UNDER THE SEA"

Good Morning!! Wow is it hot out today. It has been all weekend and I'm hating it. Yesterday the heat index was 104. I don't like hot weather at all. It was even to hot to sleep. So, you probably know by now that I do not have central air. Only one window air conditioner that is in the living room and it can't keep it cool enough so you can feel comfortable. In the winter you can add as many clothes and blankets you want but in the summer you can only take off so much. The rest of the family enjoy the heat. They had to get that from their father because is sure isn't me.

When I seen this challenge the first thing I thought of was "The Little Mermaid." The song popped in my head and I couldn't get it out the rest of the day. I wrote down the sentiments that I could use if it fit with the card I made. I will tell you none of them did. Before I get into any more of my ideas and card, I want to let you know who our sponsor is. KPM Doodles is who that sponsor is. They have sponsored us before and we just love when they come back and sponsor again. They always have great images for us to use. This time we were allowed to use the set called,"Bright Sea Creatures." Since this is a set there are 10 different sea creatures that we could choose from. Here is the prize they will be giving out this time.

2 Sets
From
KPM Doodles Store

You heard about the set we used. They had ten images and they are giving away 2 sets. That is really a great prize. Out of the ten images I used four of the images. You will see them but I used the fish, starfish, turtle, and octopus. My main focus was the octopus. I just thought he was adorable. So here is the card with my sea creatures.

I know it is hard to see but the background papers have sea shells on them and the other is water. After I started getting to the center it looked like I used to many layers of paper and you couldn't see the patterned paper. When You look at it in the real life you can see it better. So let me get to the items that I used to make this sea creature card.

Cardstock -- Core' dinations & The Paper Studio
Paper -- Paper Pizazz
Pooped Up Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Not to many items but enough to make this card cute. I really hope you like it. I would love for you to leave a comment to let me know what you think. It's always nice to hear what people think about what you make. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you will see all our projects the design team made with these great sea creatures. Well, I will be gone in August due to me moving but keep checking back in case I did get a chance one week to make a project. Have a beautiful day and enjoy the rest of the summer before school starts.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #271 "ANYTHING GOES"

Hello!! Hope you have had a great July 4th weekend. I'm sure the fireworks were beautiful everywhere. My husband and I just look around to our neighbors on the block to set off their own fireworks. That's about all we do.The kids go and do their own thing so it's just us now. Fireworks has never been my husbands thing unless he has his own to do. We really don't have the place to let any off here. I really can do without. Also, my dog is terrified of fireworks. She really goes nuts and howls every time she hears one. We have to keep here in the house because she tries to claw through the fence to get out. She has many scratches on her snout from doing it the other day.

We are at a challenge that we all love. The "Anything Goes" challenge. As you know I try to do some kind of layout for my family album and the image I chose for this week went perfect with the idea I had. I used the image called "Smart Owl" from our great sponsor Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. She had this cute owl that is a grad from our school. This went perfect with the pictures I had of my Grandson graduating from pre-school. I'm so glad she let me use this one. I used the owl and then rotated it so it looked the the owls had their backs together. They didn't end up together but are still adorable. Here is the prize that Robyn with be giving this week.

3 Digital Images
From

Remember that Robyn just released 15 new digital a few weeks ago. You could get 3 of those new ones. That would be great for a prize. Now this is my little pre-school grad.

I totally love this page. It was easy to come up with and I love the way the owls turned out. I colored the owls as close to the blue that my grandson was wearing. In person it's so close that you would think it is the exact same color. The owl is colored in two light colors of brown. I just want to tell you so you didn't think it's just one boring color. I added some 3D chipboard school pieces and crayons. Here is where all the items came from

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- The Paper Studio
ABC's & 123's Bottom Strip -- Jolee's Boutique
Crayons On Middle Picture -- Dress It Up
3D School Embellishments -- The Paper Studio (La Petites)
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I hope you like the layout. It is part of a two page layout that wasn't done when I did this. It will probably take another half hour. The to pages are adorable together. On the other page, I wrote the story of the evening so everyone could sense what happen when I was there. I hope that the rest of today will be more fun with family and friends and enjoy every minute. I have a great little birthday party to go to. My cute little great nephew who is turning two. So, see you next week

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #270 "ADD LACE"

Waking up to rain is been like this for the couple of past days. I totally love it but my kids are getting aggravated with it. I can't do anything anyway because I still have this boot on my leg from my fractured ankle. I do get to go this Wednesday to see if it has healed completely. I have had this thing on for two months and I'm ready to burn it. I'm very sentimental about keeping things and everyone wanted to know if I would keep this also. I said I will burn it. There is nothing sentimental about this thing. I can't do a lot of things with it and I'm trying to pack and clean this house up for when we move. So far they said everything is great with the loan. It's just going to take longer to get the approval.

Who wants to add lace to their card? I have done a few with lace and they always look pretty. It makes a great border for the image you use or the border around the card. Any way you use lace it's a great added touch. So, this week our sponsor is The East Wind. This is a very unique store as her categories are named very different. She has Lucy Loo, Mon Amour Collection, and many more unique categories. Take a visit there and I'm sure you will definitely find something that you like. The East Wind is giving this prize for our challenge winner.

Now the image that I chose to use is called "Flower Fairy and Birdie." I love this little fairy and the bird that is laying in her hands. I made the little bird yellow so she could stand out. Here is the card

Isn't she a beautiful fairy. The card is a little darker then shown here. When I cropped it and put my signature on it, the program focused on the flowers more then the rest of the card. My lace that I added to my card is the lace flower that I made. I wanted to try something different with my lace this time. I think it turned out pretty for my first time making one. Now that I made one I want to try different colors. You may see more on my cards in the future. Here are my items that I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- Colorbok
Frame Behind The Fairy -- Spellbinders Nestabilities (Decorative Curved Square)
Lace Flower -- I Made With Decorative Trim
Gemstone In The Middle Of Flower -- The Paper Studio
Flowers With Beads Hanging Out -- Hobby Lobby
All Other Flowers And Leaves -- Wild Orchid Crafts
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I did use a lot of materials to make this card. I didn't put a sentiment as I could use it for many occasions. So, I would love to hear your opinion on my card. The challenge is at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and you will see more images that the Design Team made from The East Wind. Hope you enjoy everything and I will finish up right now. Wish me luck for my boot this week and I will see you all next week. Happy Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 269 "MUST USE BUTTONS -- REAL OR FAUX"

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Happy Sunday morning. I hope all the father's out there are having a nice day with their family. Did a lot of you make their Father's Day card for you Dad or Husband? I have to say with all my stuff I was doing this week that my kids are the ones that reminded me of Father's Day being this weekend. It totally slipped my mind and I also didn't write it on my schedule. I depend on that schedule and I don't know how I didn't write that down. Now, I have to figure what I should do for him today. I know our one son won't be here because he will be spending it with his children. It's hard to say he has children but they are all my life.

All Dressed Up Stamps is an etsy shop with the cutest images. She has images for kids, baby showers and many more categories. They are very adorable and when you see mine you will know. The image that I was allowed to use from her store is called, "Daddy's Little Helper." A very cute little boy who is digging in the dirt with his dog. I know there is a worm hanging from the bucket but it didn't show to well but I wanted you to know it is there. Here is the prize for this weeks challenge.

Here is Daddy's Little Helper

I tried to use many different colors on the image as there were on the paper. I wanted the bone to look like it was under the ground and the dog was sitting on it. The carrot was suppose to look like it's growing up from under the ground. Then I added the buttons for the challenge. So here is where all the items came from.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- DCWV
Green Buttons -- Crystaline Button Assortment
All Animal Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Sentiment -- Came With The Image
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Well you know what's now. We have come to the end of another post. I would like to tell you that make sure you have more then one button on your card. The Challenge does say buttons and I wouldn't want you to not be entered in the challenge because you only had one button. This is just a friendly reminder. Well I will see you on the next post. Hope you have a Wonderful Week!!!!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #268 "WEDDING CARDS"

Hello on this great Sunday morning. I hope you all had a great week and weekend. Mine was a very busy one. Doing things for my daughter. Had to be at the inspection on the house we are trying to buy and the best was my oldest sister Shelley was married yesterday. She looked so happy. The wedding was at a park near me called Rising Park and there was a gazebo on the water's edge so when they were doing their vows you could see the pond behind them. Very beautiful and it didn't rain. The wedding was very simple but nice and all of us sisters made food and had a reception at my sister's house. Then after we all were there it started to pour down rain. Boy was she lucky that it didn't do this during the wedding.

This challenge came at the right week. I made my card for my sister and a photo album she asked me to make for her that she would pay for. Of course, I wasn't going to let her pay for it. That was the wedding gift from me to her. I'm excited to show my card because it's a little close to the album. So the image that I chose was called "May I Have This Dance" and I chose it from our sponsor A Day For Daisies. I loved this image as it's just part of a reception. A Day For Daisies is a great store for you to look at and the image on the first page is a great image for Father's Day. You could get it when you enter our challenge this week. A Day for Daisies is giving a great prize this week so let me tell you what it is.

Here is the card that I made that I just left named, "May I Have This Dance."

Since the boy and girl are going to dance I found this piece of paper that looks like a music sheet. It's suppose to look like that the doves are caring the sign. My sister's wedding was black and white with red roses. I tried to make my card with the same color scheme. There are actually black roses in with the rest of the roses. They are hard to see. Here are the items that I used to make this adorable card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- From My Paper Stash
Black Frame -- Spellbinders Nestabilities ( Floral Ovals )
Font -- Monotype Corsiva
Doves -- Dress It Up
Pearl Branches -- Hobby Lobby
Flowers -- Wild Orchid Crafts
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Well I hope you liked the card. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog will have more great cards from our design team. There are many beautiful cards that are made and displayed there. You will also see how to enter the challenge and don't forget to read the tutorials. They are great and I even learn from them. So have a great week and I will be back.
I would like to show you the pictures of the album and how the flowers are almost alike.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #264 "STARS, STARS, STARS"

Good Morning!!! How is this weekend treating you? Hopefully you enjoyed the outdoors. I did a little before it started raining. Rain doesn't bother me though. I would like to tell you about the cutest little thing I seen. My Grandson Hayden graduated from Pre-School. Schools didn't have this when my children was at that age. He had his little cap and gown with a medal that was a tiger that said I graduated pre-school. How precious was this. The sang a couple of songs which they danced to and then received that little diploma to make it official. I cried, then laughed when they were dancing. I am a very proud Grandma and this kid is very loved also. I am also proud of him. He had many relatives there to see him and I was glad to be a part of it.

Well, I did go on a little bit but it was an adorable thing to watch. The Paper Shelter is our sponsor for this challenge. Besides having digital images, they also have 6x6 digital paper packs, accessories and printables. This is a very great place to look for different items. I was so lucky that I was allowed to use a beautiful digital image. The image is called "Moon Spell." This is a beautiful little girl laying on a tree branch with the moon up above her. This was great to add the stars to this card. We do have to use more then one star on the card that we made. That was not a problem with the card I did. So before you see all my stars here is the prize for this weeks challenge.

$15.00 Gift Certificate

The Paper Shelter Store

This is a great prize for someone to win this week. Here is my card that I called My Only Star.

As you can see I did use many stars. I thought I had paper that was lines of stars but it was circles and each line was a different color. You really can't see the red, oranges, and yellows that are behind the circle the image is on. I really do love this image. She is very beautiful. Let me show you the items I used to to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Shelter & DCWV (The Pet Stack)
Blue Paper -- My Stash
Punch -- Martha Stewart (Circle Border Punch--Eyelet Doily)

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #263 "LOTS OF LAYERS"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Good Morning!! It's a hot one here but it's to start getting cooler for this whole week. I'm excited for that. I hope all you mother's out there is having a great Mother's Day. Spending time with loved ones always brighten someones day. After so many years of not going down on Mother's Day to my husband's mom's, he decided that he wanted to do that this year. I don't go anywhere on this day so I'm happy to do this for him and his mother to.

The sponsor for this week is KPM Doodles. They have been very good to as for sponsoring our challenges in the past and for this one also. Many categories to choose from and they have the cutest images. I was able to work with a set called "Blue Bird Digital Stamp Set." Yes, I did say I used a set of digital images. With this set you get 7 digital images to choose from. There are birds, bird on a branch, single birds and two bird houses. The ones I used was a bird sitting on a bird bath and I also used 4 single birds. I do have many layers on this card. I used ovals for all the layering, a bird in the flower for a layer, and my base card to work on. I will show them and tell you were all the layers are but, first, I would like to tell you the winning prize for this week from KPM Doodles.

2 SETS Of Digital Stamps
From
KPM Doodles Store

That is one great prize. There are lots of great sets to choose from. Here is my card that I called "Splish, Splash."

I loved this paper and thought it would look great with this image. Now here are my layers and they are again all ovals. Of course the card is the first layer, then there are two ovals put together that are plain pink and also did one in plain green. With three of the colored paper is the layer behind the image and the image is the top layer. The bird in the flowers I consider to be a layer. So in total there are 6 layers. Not to bad for a card that is suppose to have layers. If your confused the background paper is sitting on my cardstock card. Here are the items that I used for this layered card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- K & Company
White Flowers With Beads  -- Hobby Lobby
All Other Flowers  -- Wild Orchid Crafts
Leafs  -- Wild Orchid  Crafts
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I hope you really liked the card. At first it was not turning out good at all and I almost threw it in the trash. I had to sit on it a day before I finally figured out what I was going to do and finished it up in no time. I was excited that I really liked it in the end. So, it's time for me to leave and do my Sunday chores and go to visit my husband's mom for Mother's Day. I hope you all enjoy your Mother's Day and I will see you at the next challenge.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #262 "ANYTHING BUT A CARD"

Hi to you all on this Sunday morning. The sun is so bright here and it's a little warm. Very nice weekend to get out with the family. I can honestly say that I had a terrific day yesterday. I went and seen my Grandson play his first Tee-Ball game. The kids were so adorable playing out there. They did keep score which was surprising for a Tee-Ball game. My grandson made one of the runs for his team. We were all yelling at him to run. When he hit the ball he started to go to third and we were yelling for him to go the other way. He did great after that. He had the cutest smile on his face when we were all yelling and then congratulating him. I remember his dad playing when he was that age and it's like watching him all over again.

Well, we are here to the part to tell you about our great sponsor. The sponsor is Robyn's Fetish. Robyn's is a very generous lady for letting us chose our images for our challenges. I went with a different project this week. I know it's spring but I did a scrapbook layout for Halloween. I found these pictures of my daughter when she was six and was Dracula. The image that I used was called "Count Dracula." Sometimes you do something not expected to WOW the readers. I'm so exited to show you my layout with Robyn's image that I'm going to tell you what she will be giving to the winner this week.

Finally, we are to that great part to see the project. I'm so excited to show everyone this. My daughter had no clue that I even was making this this week. She was shocked.

So, do you like this layout? She looks almost identical to the Count Dracula that I colored. I had fun making this and I think that's what I like about it. Doesn't take me as long to figure out how I want to do it and then it's done. So here are the items I used and then I will have to end my post. More projects to work on.

Paper --  The Paper Studio & DCWV
Glitter Ghosts -- Dress It Up
Haunted House, Bats, & Moon -- The Paper Studio (La Petites)
