ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #261 "EASEL CARDS"

Good Morning to you all!! I do apologize for not being here last week. I fractured my ankle bone and it has taken awhile to get use to being in a boot that does not let your ankle and part of your foot move. I am pigeon toed so keeping my foot straight is more painful then someone that has feet that actually goes straight. I am so lucky that I have to keep this thing on for five weeks and then see if it fused back together or have to have surgery on it. It has been kicked several times by my kids and my dog so I hope that is not going to be a problem.

I love doing Easel Cards. Making them at first was hard but now they are as easy as just making a normal one. Our great sponsor this week is Fred, She Said Designs. The way you will get your images for now is through e-mail. The store is temporarily closed but you will see their images. I love the one that they let me use for this challenge. It's called "Daisies and Ladybugs." The image has a daisy chain and ladybugs by their selves or they are together. I used the chain for creating half a frame and one flower in the corner. It's easier to show you then tell you. Here is the prize they are giving and then I will show you my card.

Here is the card using "Daisies and Ladybugs" but I called the card Thank You My Friend.

I brightened the picture up so you could see how vibrant the colors look on this card. I think the daisy chain turned out really good. The background actually has big daisies on it but after I finished the card you couldn't see that very clear. You however can see the daisies on the inside of the card. Here are the items I used to make this beautiful Thank You card.

Cardstock  -- The Paper Studio & My Stash
Paper -- K&Company
Yellow & Orange Fabric Flowers -- Creative Co-Op (My Moments)
Ladybug Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Font Used -- Script MT Bold
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Thank You for stopping by this week and I really hope you enjoyed the card. Take a chance with your card and head on over to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and enter. See you next week (if nothing happens LOL).

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #239 "USE A DIGI"

Good Morning on this cold and icy Sunday. It's not a great thing to wake up and there is ice on the steps and sidewalks. When I let my dog out she was having a hard time standing on the stoop that she fell down to the first step. Yes, I laughed at her but she did get back up. She went straight into the house. This is something that I probably won't ever see again. With everything I have been going through I needed that little laugh. Thank goodness for my pets. They always amuse me.

I have been able to keep up on making my cards. This week I was able to use a digi from Fred, She Said Designs. I used "Christmas Ornament" from their Christmas section of their store. They have 41 images in their Christmas section. That's enough to make many Christmas cards that you can give to your family and friends. The ornament that I used was perfect with the Christmas paper that I had bought last year for my Christmas cards. Before I show you my ornament let me tell you what Fred, She Said Designs will be giving to that lucky winner

Now that you seen that wonderful prize for this week's challenge. Here is my card that I made. Another one that I'm sending out.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 280 " SQUARE CARDS "

Hope your Easter morning is going great and the rest of the day is even better. We are not doing anything today. Our family is not close so we just stay home. That's why I hope you are having a great day with family. Last week I told you about my grand daughter having her 2nd birthday Friday and she had her little party Saturday. She was such a delight to sit and watch all those funny faces she was making as she opened each and every one. You would have thought she was having Christmas with as many gifts that she had. She had more then she needed. It was to the point she was bored with opening them and went for her cake. She never did open those gifts but I'm sure she will get to them to night. Since I was there I went ahead and gave the grandchildren their Easter baskets. That was even more for Remie. It was very cute when she seen the bunny and pulled it out. She gave the bunny a hug and held it while she seen what else was in the bag. It was a great birthday party. I'm going to move forward and start the challenge we are here for.

As we can see we are doing square cards. I don't do many of these because you can't get every thing you want on that one card. Of course, that could just be me. The sponsor this week is one we had before and they have great images. They are Fred, She Said Designs. Take a look at what they have because the image I was so kindly to use is called Morpho-Marigolds. I only found two colors of marigolds so I made the butterfly very bright and colorful. I did an image a long time ago with a butterfly frame from Fred, She Said and it turned out beautiful also.  You should go and see the images if you get a chance. Well, let me tell you what they are offering this week as a prize for the lucky winner this week.

Now I want to show you my card.

I hope you really like it. I forgot that it was a square card this week and had a cute scrapbook layout I was going to start to do. Thank goodness I went back and seen what the challenge really is. I'm still going to make the layout though. When I get it finished I will show you. The marigolds on this card are in three different color combination of yellows and oranges. I did use three colors to make the butterfly but I did decide to outline it in black to make it stand out more. The saying from above is from Psalm 63:7 but it was on the image sheet that I received with my image. I thought it went perfect for the way my card was set up. Let me give you the items that I used so you can get back to family and friends.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- DCWV (The Floral Flair)
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils.

Wasn't a very big list but I still wanted you to have it. Thank You for spending some time to read my post and as always don't forget to put your entries at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and take a look at what the other design team members made for this week's challenge.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #186 "USE METAL, REAL OR FOAX"

Good Morning to Everyone. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful Sunday morning or afternoon. We have a real great challenge this week. I hope that you will like it and participate. Here's my little paragraph about my week because it was a very weird one. The only easy thing that happen was making my card. One day I couldn't get any e-mails and thought that maybe the mail was down but my husbands e-mail worked. We waited the whole day and my husband finally called our provider to find out what had happened to my e-mail account. They shut it down and was going to call and let us know but who knows when. We waited all day for it to work and no phone call. Well, we found out that some how my e-mail was corrupted. Not to sure what that all means but they had to find the problem. After an hour, they had solved the problem but there was also more bad news. I lost every e-mail that came in that day and some of my websites that I get e-mails from I had to re register to get all them to come back. It's been a big problem. Then a couple of days later someone hacked into our cell phones. My husband and the provider of them had to clear everyone of our phones and send all the information to the fraud unit. Later we found out that some lovely person called Cuba on my phone and talked for over an hour. I hope they enjoyed their conversation. We don't have to pay for any of it but it still is a hassle. I wonder sometimes if technology is worth the trouble. OK, done for this week's chat about me. Let's get to the good stuff.

Our challenge is one that I don't think we have ever done before but is fun. Using metal on your card. There is so much out there that is or looks like metal. We have one of our great sponsors that is giving away a good prize for this week's winner. Fred, She Said is that wonderful sponsor. They let us use one of their images to make our card this week. The image that I picked out was "Pumpkin Bouquet." I loved the flowers that are sitting inside the pumpkin. I tried to color the flowers with fall colors. You can use this card as a Thanksgiving card or for someones fall birthday. Fred, She Said is giving away a great prize to the winner this week. Here is what you are playing for.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 161 "BIRDS"

Celebrating another holiday on our Sunday challenge. Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Weekend!! Our weekend was a wedding on Saturday with my daughter playing the flute as the bride and party come down the isle. The music was so beautiful. I listened to her practice all week and it was a beautiful song. She will also be playing at a cemetery with her band on Monday morning. Remembering all the Veteran's and loved one's that passed. This is a new thing that school's are doing for Memorial Day. Well, I hope that every one of you have had a great weekend and a wonderful Monday!!
Fred, She Said Designs
As you can see from above, Fred, She Said Designs is our sponsor this week. I used an image from her set called Blue Jay and Raspberries. Who doesn't like raspberries. There were raspberry bushes on a country road where I grew up. I would walk up there all the time to pick the berries. Great memories. Blue jays are beautiful birds but I don't see them that much where I live. Enough of my rambling again. Here is the prize that Fred, She Said Designs is giving our lucky winner this challenge for birds.
A $10.00 Voucher

Fred, She Said Designs Store.
Here is the card of my Blue Jay and Raspberries. Hope you enjoy it.

I wanted the raspberries to look like they were growing up a lattice. The background paper is light but it has vines that go up and down. After I put the berries and blue jay on the card, I was stumped with what to do with the rest. My image that I had in my mind just vanished. I went through many poems to find this one that just stood out at me. So I loved the way it all turned out. Here are the products that I used to make this card.

Cardstock - Close To My Heart
Paper - DCWV, The Paper Studio
Flowers - From My Stash
Saying - Colorbok
Punch - EK Tools Large Edger Punch (Lattice Chain)
Colored Pencils
Colored Markers

Thanks for joining me for another challenge that were having at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. If you would like any information about the challenge you can find it there. There are so many birds out there. Which one will your choose? Have a Great Sunday and the rest of the week. See you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH IS PLAYING TAG THIS WEEK

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #119 IS ALL ABOUT TAGS

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday so far. How much of the Olympics have you been watching since it started? I can honestly say that we have watched something everyday since they started. This is the first year that I have watched so much of it. There are things on there that I would never have thought would be in the Olympics. I have to say that Gymnastics is my favorite. Those girls can fly and twist their bodies in every direction. It has been very exciting for our family.

I won't bore you with my Olympics fun so I'm going to get to the challenge this week at Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. Our feature designer this week is Fred, She Said. We used her images to do our theme "Tags". I really enjoyed doing this one. The tag is very different then things that I have been doing. I love to have a challenge and make something that is new to me. The name of my image is "PETUNIA AND HUMMINGBIRD". I love flowers and hummingbirds. You don't see many hummingbirds here at my house. I think all my dogs probably scare them away. Well I know that you are waiting to see what the prize is this week. Here it is.

Here is the tag that I made with my image Petunia and Hummingbird.

Well here is my tag. I hope you really like it. I think it turned out pretty good. Our Design Team made tags with their images so you should see what they came up with. Their blogs our on my sidebar. Well, Thanks for visiting on this beautiful Sunday and I will see you next week with a new challenge.
