ROBYN'S CHALLENGE WITH LACE

ADD SOME LACE TO ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #111

Hope all is well with you this Sunday Morning. I'm trying to keep cool in this hot weather. I think I may have to turn on the air conditioner for the first time this year. Our ceiling fans have been great but I don't think they will handle this 90 degree weather. I'm still having fun with the kids until Jordan goes back to college. I thought that it being summer the drama of a pre-teen would lay off for awhile but I was wrong. They still find some way to argue about things and they are not even seeing each other. When will it end? (NEVER LOL)

We have a new designer that we are featuring this week and a theme that we haven't had. That's as long as I have been here. Our designer is A Day For Daisies. The theme we are using is "Add Some Lace". I love lace but finding some in different colors can be hard. I know I have had to dye some before just to get the color I wanted. I found my lace that was in my stash when I made photo albums. The name of my image is called Sitting In A Globe. I wanted to figure out how to make a shaker card with this one but didn't know how to do one so big. I will have to put that on my list of things to learn. (I do actually have a list) I'm sure you would like to know what the prize you working for this week. Here it is:

A $12 GIFT CARD
TO THE
DAY OF DAISES STORE

Let me show you the card I made with the image called Sitting In A Globe. I am trying to do different things with the face so I'm sorry if it didn't come out that great.

I hope you enjoy the card and my attempt of my coloring of the face. Let me remind you again that Our design team has made their own cards with lace and I think you will love to see their work. Their blogs are on the side of my blog. Have fun with this challenge and I will see you next Sunday for a whole new challenge. Have a great week!!

FEATURE MONDAY OVER AT MY GRAFICO

MY GRAFICO'S FEATURE MONDAY

Welcome to Monday's feature here at My Grafico. Hope your morning is starting off well. Not to bad in Ohio. The weather is great. My daughter is done with school. My son and husband are done with college this quarter. We are spending some quality time together but my son isn't into to well. Here's to old for that stuff. You have to spend time with the young children because they eventually grow up and move on. I'm hoping for some great moments this summer and some great scrapbook layouts to.

The set that we are using this week is from designer Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. What we are using this week is Elegant & Shabby School Scrapbook & Card Papers. These papers are terrific for any year of school and even college pictures. There is even a paper that looks like a music sheet. Let's look at the set for yourself.

Here's the card that I made with this set. The papers are so neat that it was hard to pick one. Once I picked one my idea was there. Let me show you the card that I made.

I hope you like what I did with the paper. It was hard to find graduation stuff at this time of the year so I used some of the stuff I have to finish my son's layouts. I'm sure the graduation stuff will be back soon. So if you have a graduate this year, Congratulations to them from me. Have a Wonderful week and I will be back for next Monday's Challenge.

OUR HAPPY BIRTHDAY THEME AT THE ROBYN'S FETISH

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 109

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend spending time with friends and family. It's a hot weekend here. In the 90's and very humid. I'm very grateful that I have this window air conditioner. If you turn it on at a certain time it can actually cool down the bottom of my house. That tells you how small my house is. LOL It's even smaller with four cats and a dog. I don't think you consider the two fish tanks that my kids have in their rooms. We are all animal people. If I could I would add some more cats but not at this time.

As you seen in the title our theme this week is Happy Birthday Cards with a Sentiment on the front. This was a fun card for me. I did something different with the image that I used from Inked Treasures. The name of my image is called Blowing Bubbles Ellie. She is a cute little girl elephant. Since she was a girl I didn't use pink. I used the color blue. I loved doing this card. I hope you like what I did with it. Now let me tell you what the prize you can win this week for your entry.

3 DIGITAL STAMPS
OF THE WINNER'S CHOICE FROM
THE INKED TREASURE STORE.

Here is the card that I used with Blowing Bubbles Ellie. I hope you like it.

I love this card. It is definately one of my favorite one's that I made. The design team made great cards also and it would be great if you went to their blogs and see their great work. Leave them a little love while you are there. I will see you next week. I can't believe it but it will be the first weekend of June. Have a Wonderful Week!!

PAPER PIECING TECHNIQUE AT ROBYN'S FETISH

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #107 with Paper Piecing

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!! Suppose to have a cookout at my Grandma's but it's suppose to rain all day. I guess we will just have everything indoors. As long as I get to spend time with my Grandma, I will be happy. I do want to apologize for my short post last week. It was a very hard time for me because we had a death in the family. My grandmother wasn't doing well and that was very painful for me. I love my grandmother dearly. She has always been there for me and if my best friend. Enough of my sorrow, let's get to the great challenge this week.

I can honestly say that I had never done a paper piecing project. I did have a hard time with it but ended up with a great example for it. I think the hardest part was trying to get the pieces to fit where I had wanted them. It took me four times to finally get it. We used the digital stamps from Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps. My image that I used was called Mousey Girl Sunflower Sitter. I love sunflowers so this was the perfect image for me. So, let me tell you about the prize that a lucky winner will winner for this challenge.

5 Digital Stamps
of the Winner's Choice from the
Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps Store

I'm going to have two pictures for you to look at this week. The first will be the picture of my card and the second picture is a close up of the paper piecing that I did on the sunflower.

I hope you can see the different paper on the petals of the sunflower. That is where my paper piecing is. The other Designs did there own paper piecing so I would head on over to their blogs and see what they have done. Happy Mother's Day and I will see you next week for another great challenge.

FUNKY JARS TO FILL AT MY GRAFICO

MY GRAFICO'S FEATURE FOR THIS MONDAY

Hope your having a Wonderful Monday morning. I do apologize that this will be a straight to the feature blog.

The set that we are featuring this week is designed by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. The name of her set is called Funky Jars to Fill. These are cute jars that had candy, marbles, and bubble gum. These jars reminded me of the jars we used when I was growing up when we canned almost everything we grew in our family garden. My Day made sure that our garden was big enough for all of use to eat and have enough to go through the winter. He still makes a little one for us to come over and pick through. He's a true country man.

Let me show you this terrific set

Remember you still have until May 11th to get your Mother's Day project in. Just remember to put it on the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog.

Here's the card that I made with this set. I call it Penny Candy. I went back in time to make this one. I hope you all remember when you could go into the General Store and get Penny Candy.

I hope you enjoyed this week's feature and next week we will have another challenge. Make sure you come back and see what you will be trying to win. Have a great week and see you next Monday.

BLUE, BUTTONS AND A BOW TOO AT ROBYN'S FETISH

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #106

Good Morning!! I'm surprised I'm awake so early. So not me. Today, I will be going straight to the challenge. I hope you don't mind.

This week the Robyn's Fetish Design Team used digital stamps designed by Floppy Latte Designs. The image I chose was Pull Along Duck. Our theme was a fun one. I don't remember making what I think they call a recipe card. We had to use "Buttons, Blue and a Bow Too".
This was a fun combination to work with. I went with a light blue because of the duck. I can honestly say that I could not find number embellishments for this but did get the ABC's. So here is the great prize this week that you can win.

$10.00 Voucher
To The
Floppy Latte Digital Designs Store

So here is my Pull Along Duck

I think he is a cute duck. I remember these ducks from when I was little and the dogs to. I hope you enjoyed your card this morning and come back next Sunday for another great challenge. All I can tell you is that I have never done this type of card before. Please look at the other Design Team Blogs. They have great cards for this challenge too. Have a Wonderful Week!!

PASTEL CHALLENGE WITH ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #104

Welcome to another Sunday Challenge with Robyn's Fetish Challenge. It's cold and cloudy here. Not very fun. I was actually in a craft fair yesterday and today in a big building with not heat. It was in the 40's and I froze all day. I see a cold coming on. Believe it or not there was people coming in to look and I sold stuff but don't know if it was worth sitting it the cold all day. I think I will relax all day tomorrow just to recover from the weekend. The only thing that I missed this weekend was my grand daughter coming home and seeing her. She is so precious and my grandson is very protective of her. He won't let the other sister's get near her. He's going to be a great big brother. Enough about me. How about getting to the challenge for this week.

The theme for this week is use pastels only. Look at all the spring time colors you can use for this challenge. I love the theme for this week. It was fun to use pastels. This week we had our images from the designer Heart Song Designs. The images were great. I made one with Theadore Tulip. He's a very cute little bunny and it was fun to work with. Here is the prize to one of our lucky challengers.

3 Digital Images
Of The Winners Choice from
Heart Song Designs Store

So here is the card with all pastels.

I hope you enjoyed the card. I love the ribbon I found with the tulips. I think it went well nicely. Now to a close for this post. I hope to see you all enter your pastel cards and I will see you next week. Good Luck to you all.

THE ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE

THE ROBYN'S FETISH SUNDAY CHALLENGE #89

Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you had a wonderful week. I can honestly say that mine was great. I found out that my Granddaughter will be born on April 18th. They have to do a C-Section and they went ahead and scheduled the date to have it done. Now I get to sit and wait for three months. I'm just wondering how my Grandson is going to take it He's been so spoiled from us that I don't know if he's going to like a new sister. He will still get spoiled from me. He's my little man.

Well, let me tell you that our designer of the week is Delicious Doodles. Our theme this week is a sketch theme. Just take our sketch and show us what you can make from it. I haven't participated in many sketch challenges but they are more fun then I thought they would be. It puts alot of guess work out of trying to come up with our own layout. Everyone on the Design Team picked a different digital stamp from Delicious Doodles to do our project. I picked a fox. I haven't worked on a fox so I thought this would be good for me

The prize for this challenge is a great one
You will get to pick 4 images of your choice
from Delicious Doodles.

This is a great prize for someone to want. Four images is alot. Can you think of all the cards you could make with 4 images? Alot!! The rules for the challenges is still at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog.

Well I already told you that my card is made with a Fox so let's get to the project that I made. I hope you like it.

Remember that there are other Design Team members that worked very hard on their projects and it would be great if you could stop and leave them a little love about the project that they made for this challenge. There were many different ways that we did the sketch and I think you will love them. Have another great week and I will see you next Sunday.

I DID IT CREATIONS CHALLENGE #87

SUNDAY'S CHALLENGE FOR I DID IT CREATIONS

Hello Everyone!! Yes I can honestly say that it is not Sunday but this challenge is still going on. I am late on posting this challenge. Over the holiday's was hectic and I had that lovely flu that my Grandson decided to share with Grandma. It's amazing how he bounced back and I'm still suffering from it. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday weekend. Mine was nice but I broke my very expensive camera. I will be borrowing one until I can get mine fixed so I can still post my projects. I didn't cry but I couldn't take anymore pictures for the rest of the day and so on. I missed some cute photo's of my Grandson. I could go on and on but let's get to the project that I did have done for you.

The designer that we used for this challenge was Robyn's Fetish. I know you have all heard of her and her awesome digital stamps. The theme was Gingerbread Christmas. I used Gingerbread Cookies. They do look like sugar cookies but I can honestly say they can be either one. I'm sure you would love to know the prize you would win.

The prize is 1 image
of the winner’s choice from the Robyn's Fetish Store
or 2 images if the winner
has used a Robyn’s Fetish image.

Remember to go to the I DID IT CREATIONS CHALLENGE BLOGget all the rules for you to enter your project. Remember, you still have time to enter this challenge.

Here's my card for the Gingerbread Christmas using a Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamp.

I do hope that you enjoy the card. I was trying to use the background paper as a cookie sheet but I don't know if it looks that way. The Design Team has worked very hard on these cards so I hope that you give them a visit and let them know how their hard work turned out. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week.

MONDAY'S MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #115

MONDAY'S MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #115

Welcome to a new week at My Grafico. Here is a rainy dreary day. Although by the end of the week it will be back in the 70's. I wish it would make up it's mind because I can't get rid of these allergies and sinus infections. The medicine makes me tired and I feel like I'm loosing alot of crafting time. With my daughter in school I have more time to work on my crafts but it's so quiet around here I fall asleep. I am a baby when it come's to medicine. I have never been able to take it without falling asleep. Oh well, at least I am getting some things done. I even have my project for this week. That's a great thing.

This week we worked with Designer Sarah Paris and they are called Green Finger Stamp. There was a wide variety of different stamps and many possibilities of things to make with these. I have to say I could not figure out which project I had in mind to make. Once I started on one it was so easy to finish it up. I just need a craft room so I can find my supplies easier. Well lets show you the stamp that I was able to use this week:

So if you would like to take a closer look at these stamps here is the link that will take you right to them. When you are there look at the rest of Sarah Paris Designs. I'm positive you will find more that you will want. Here is your link:

Well I hope you like the card that I made this week. I do hope that it has given you some ideas as what to do with yours

Well I hope you liked the card and also visit all the other DT blogs and see what they made of the same stamps. Have a Wonderful week.

My mom's birthday was yesterday. What a day to have your birthday on. Then my daughter had a friend stay Saturday night and I had my Grandson Saturday and two other day's this week. I'm totally exhausted from all this fun. I only have one birthday this week and that's my husband. We don't celebrate our birthday's but my kids won't accept that. Economy has hit us hard. IDIC SUNDAY CHALLENGE #69

Good Morning or Afternoon. I guess it's all up to where in the world you are located. I can say that I'm from the Buckeye State of Ohio. Please don't hold the college football team against me. LOL The weather again is rain today. I love rain but this is the last weekend before my youngest goes to school. My son doesn't start college until the end of September. It's hard having your kids grow older. I miss my son that lives an hour away from home. He only had been on his own for 5 years. Their gone before you know it.

This weeks sponsor is Stitchy Stamps. The theme for this week's challenge is Sports. My kids were involved in some sports so I had ideas for cards to make. It was just hard trying to figure out what sport it would be that my kids were not fighting over "Mom did this because of you." Don't know if that's happen to you but it has here. Well if you are interested in looking at Stitchy Bear Stamps images just go to:

Our challenge winners win 1 free digi of their choice from the current sponsor.
If you use one of the current sponsor's images you will win an extra digi.

Well let's see the card that I made for sports. I will let you know that the colors I chose are our school colors.

Don't forget to visit the other Design Team Blogs to see the creations that they made this week. Good Luck with the challenge. It will be nice to see what you create.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #108

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE FOR MONDAY AUGUST 8, 2011

Welcome to the first of the week. It's so hard to get up on a Monday morning and get things started. This weekend helped me out alot though. I was allowed to sleep in on Sunday. Not one person even tried to wake me. What a great family I have.

This week I worked with Jessie Weible Illustrations. The stamp set that we used was her Fun Frames. There were many frames to choose from but my problem was what will I put in them or around them. But once I started playing with them I came up with many ideas. I know you will to.  Now I would like to show you a picture of the Digital Stamp Brushes that I used.

So if you would like to purchase these Fun Frames just go to the the link I'm providing below.

Now here is the card that I made with these Fun Frames.
