Good Morning!! Hope you are all having a great start to the week. Busy, Busy for me. My daughter has less then a month to start school. So there's shot's to get, physicals to be done, soccer starting, school clothes to be bought, and that's just her. This doesn't include the things that my husband and I have to get done. I think I will be busy for the next few weeks. She's in seventh grade this year and will be turning into a teenager also. I have never wanted her to grow up but she will be 13 this year. She is going to start doing more of her own thing. It's just going to be me and my husband before long. What will we do then? We have always had kids around.

Well enough about my life, let's get to this weeks feature. We had the pleasure of using any My Grafico set that we wanted this week. Talk about trying to decide which set to use was difficult. There are so many to choose from that it took me a long time to pick one. I ended up using a stamp set from Linday's Stamp Stuff. It's called Pen and Ink Poppies. It's one of my favorite sets. Here is picture of the set.

Pen & Ink Poppies

Here's the card that I made from this set.

Well I hope you like the set that I decided to use. Linsay has alot of great sets to choose from. The other Design Team had the chance to use anything that they wanted. visit their blogs and see what set they decided to use. Have a Wonderful Week and I will see you next week.

Are you having Summer Fun? I hope your having summer fun. Good morning to everyone and I hope you are having a great day and a great weekend. I know you are probably sick of hearing me talk about my grand kids but I was tested this weekend. I had the 3 month old and 2 1/2 old and they spent the night with us. How did I have kids at this age when I was raising them? My grandson had so much energy and my grand daughter decided she wanted to cry for two hours before bed time. They didn't go home until the evening the next day and I was exhausted when they left that I had the best night's sleep in a long time. I also forgot that I had all four of them for awhile on the next day. I felt like the lunch lady when I lined them up to get their lunch that they wanted. Don't give them more then one choice. They all want something different. LOL Well enough about my wonderful weekend of spending time with grand kids. Let's get to our Summer Fun Challenge.

I think by now you realize that the theme to our challenge this week is Summer Fun. I'm having some, how about you? The designer that our digital stamps came from was Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. She has more great stamps in her store that you should go and see her great work. My digital stamp was called Play Ball. I made the boy's clothing with the colors of our school's color's. My son played baseball when he was little. They were so cute playing at that age. With Robyn having new stamps you will want to win this prize.

The start of a new week. Happy Monday!! It's nice to see that I'm back. It has been one month since I have done any projects for My Grafico. Now that I'm back, I was excited of the project that I was able to participate in.

I had told you that my husband was going to go in to surgery. It has been a very long process since the staph infection he had. He has had a PICC in his arm for over a month. They will be taking it out this week and he will be on antibiotics for the next three months. The doctors want to make sure that all that staph is out of his body. It's still a scary situation. It's made me think about how precious life is and enjoy every day.

Our new challenge for the next two weeks will be "Expecting". Show all your cards for the women that expecting. The Design Team was able to use the clip art from the designer Woofy World. The name of the set is Expecting. I don't know anyone that is expecting but I'm sure that I will sometime in the future. With the set you can make many different cards for a mother expecting. Let me show you the clip art that we were able to use.

Now, isn't this a great set that you would want to work with. The challenge for the next two weeks is due August 3rd at midnight. Just enter your projects at My Grafico's Challenge Blog. I would love to see you all participate in this challenge.

Let me show you the card that I made with this set. I named it Baby Girl and used the little dresses from this clip art.

I hope this card will give you some inspiration in making your card for this challenge. The whole Design Team was able to work from this set, so I would go and see their ideas that they made. Good Luck with the challenge and I will have a feature next Monday for you.

I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to the families that lost loved ones in Colorado. This has been a very upsetting to so many people and I hope as time goes by, it gets a little bit easier for them. I know that may be years but I hope they will be able to get their lives back somehow.

How hot is it where you are? Hope you are having a Wonderful Sunday Morning. I'm going to try and enjoy as much as I can since it's suppose to be in the mid 90's. This week and weekend has been the busiest of all my summer. I did enjoy the last two day. I actually seen my granddaughter two days in a row. She is 3 months now and growing like a weed. She is actually starting to learn what her fingers are and trying to grab stuff. I forgot how neat it is seeing them learn all their little accomplishments. I just know that I was exhausted after she left. I have know idea how I had three and did everything else with them. I had to have more energy back then.

Well, this week we worked with KRAFT paper. Something that I never did. I love the challenges here because I get to learn so much that I didn't know. I don't think their is anyone that knows everything about scrapbooking and cardmaking. The designer that we used images from is Gingerloft Digi Stamps. I used an image of a seahorse. I think they are the neatest thing in the sea among other things down there. Let me tell you the pize that you will be trying to win this week.

Let me show you the card that I made with my seahorse and KRAFT paper.

Well that's my card with KRAFT paper and a seahorse. This was fun to do. The circles above the seahorse is suppose to be bubbles. I hope you can see it. The Design Team has also made projects with this paper and you can look at their blogs to get ideas of how they used the KRAFT paper. Good Luck with the challenge and I will sea you next week

Hope your having a Wonderful Monday Morning. I know I haven't been around for awhile but I have wrote a post letting everyone know of the things that has been happening around here and my life. It has been a scarey 2 months. I don't want to repeat myself about everything but I'm so glad to be back and scrapbooking. I'm a little rusty but I'm getting my crative juices a flowing.

The designer that we will be featuring this week is Zenware Designs. The Digital stamps are called Baby Stamps. Who doesn't like to make anything that is for babies? With me having grandchildren I love making things for them and of them. Let me show you the stamps that we were able to feature this Monday.

I didn't make a card this week but a scrapbook layout of my grandson when he was only 1 week old. This is one of my favorite pictures that I have of him. Let me show you this layout.

I hope that you like the layout. I tried to use almost all the images but these one's worked the best with the layout. The other Design Team Members have made some great projects made with these stamps. There are projects that I would never have thought of. If your looking for something different to make you really need to look at their blogs. Some of the projects would be great for a baby shower. I will see you next week with a new challenge with another great designer. Have a Wonderful Week and try to stay cool. It's going to really hot here this week.

Good Morning Everyone!! It's great to be back. I didn't realize how long it has been since I had posted a challenge for Robyn's Fetish. If you read my previous post, you will understand what has been happening to me the last two months. With all that going on we also lost our electric for four days in the middle 90's weather. I'm grateful that we had the generator to keep our food cold. I have never been miserable. My son was the one I worried about the most. he worked 16 hours a day to help get the electric on for two weeks. He was exhausted from all of it. One night He called just wanting me to talk to him so he wouldn't fall asleep on the way home. Well let's get to our project this week. I enjoyed it.

Our designer for this week's challenge is Limited Runs Digi Stamps. The theme for our challenge this week was one that I loved. It was Christmas in July. I know I need to start on my Christmas cards and this one might be a good one to make more then once. Everyone makes all kind of goodies for Christmas and the image I have is a snowman on a cupcake. It turned out really cute. Well let's tell you the prize for the winner of this week's challenge.

Let me show you the card that I made from this Digital Image.

Hope you enjoyed my Christmas in July. Since this being a Christmas theme you really need to see the other Design Team's blogs and let them show you what they think of Christmas in July. Have fun with the challenge and I will see you next week.

I would love to say Hello to everyone. I do miss posting to my blog but things have been very complicated in my home. My husband had a partial knee surgery May 13th. He had to recover on the couch for two weeks which was alot of work. We had people coming in three times a week and we had to exercises everyday. Then his knee started to swell and then he woke up one morning and there was infection leaking from the incision. Of course we run to the Er and after being there a little while he was rushed to the hospital immediately. He had an emergency surgery to get the staff infection out of his knee and replaced some parts that were no good because of the infection.

After his surgery the doctor came out and told me of all the possible things that could of happened to him if he had waited another day. Let's just say that I have never been so upset in my life. My husband is my best friend and I'm not prepared to be away from him. He is still not out of the woods yet. His white blood cell count is really low and they are afraid that the infection may have did something to the muscle and cartiledge beside the partial replacement. He is taking antibiotics through a PICC U once a day, blood work once a week and excercise everyday.

This has been very stressful and time consuming but I would do it to have my husband here with me. I'm wanting to get back to scrapbooking. I have missed it so much. So, there should be new projects starting next week. I really hope that you will be there for them. I might be a little rusty at the beginning but will be back before long.

I do appreciate everyone's support. I hate laying this on people but I think that my loyal readers should know why I was gone. I may not go into everything but wanted to give you a little info. So I will see you next week with my new projects.
