Good Morning!! I want to send all my prayers and thoughts to the children and teachers that lost their lives Friday. This is a terrible thing for everyone to go through. How can you do something to innocent little children? I don't live anywhere close but I cry every time I see one of those children that are running and crying to their parents. Please put them in your prayers today.

 

I am now going to tell you about this week's challenge. We are making cards that have snowmen on them. Our feature designer is Rogyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. Robyn has many great snowmen to choose from. My snowman is called Frosty Da Snowman with the image of the sign called Frosty Friends. I took my image and flipped it so the friends were facing each other by the sign. The colors on their suits are also flipped. Let me tell you the prize that Robyn is giving for this challenge.

Hello Everyone!! I hope you all had a weekend. Mine was busy but a good busy. I was doing alot but not to stressed about it all. I seen my grandson and grand daughter over the weekend. I haven't seen Hayden for over a month. I miss him so much when he's with his mother. I feel sorry for him having a split home. He never leaves his daddy when he's with him. I would love to have my son get him full time. He just looks like he's growing like a weed every time I see him. I see my grand daughter alot more since my son and his girlfriend live together. She a cute little thing. Not crawling yet but scooting backwards. My son wants her crawling and I reminded him he will be chasing her every where. Think again!!

Now let's get to the challenge. I hope by now that everyone knows that for now our challenges with be anything goes. This is a great challenge to participate in because you are not trying to make the card to the theme. I love these kind of challenges. Let's me do the creative things that I would like to show. This challenge I used the designer Revidevi. The set that I used from them is called "Christmas Babies." These are adorable little babies to work with. I'm positive you will want this set. Let me show you why.



See, I told you that these are great images to  work with. I just love making things with babies. Babies are the best things to work with. Well, I used the baby that is behind the ornament. Let me show you what my card looks like. It's in the middle of my daughter's Christmas chain she made in girl scouts. I told her I would post that information. LOL

ROBYN'S FETISH IS GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #137 IS MAKING CHRISTMAS CARDS

 

Good Morning!! It's time again for another challenge here at Robyn's Fetish. I feel like it was yesterday when I was writing the last post. This week went really fast for me. I'm in the middle of different things and I need to finish something before I go crazy. My daughter wants our tree up and the outside decorated tomorrow. We are not going to get all that done. The outside will have to wait until it quits raining here. We are on the second day and still have another day to go until it's suppose to stop. You never know with the weather these days.

 

Let's talk Christmas Cards. I love making them. I have had so much fun with them that I have actually made some for family members this year. I never done this because I was never confident in my work but know I'm Ok with things. So the designer this week is The Digi Garden.  The image that I used for this card is called "Molly is an Angel." She is getting dressed up for a Christmas play but I did my card a little differently. I had this gold piece of paper with ornaments on it and it just made a perfect background. I wish I had more of it. There's a few people I know that love angels. I'm a true believer in them. Off track. LOL The Digi Garden has great images and they are going to give out a great prize to our winner this week. Would you like to know what it is?

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #136 IS HAVING FUN PLAYING A FRIENDLY GAME

 

It's Sunday already. Hope you had an exciting week. Mine, of course, was up and down. Our furnace was acting up so the heating company came out and said that my furnace was leaking Carbon Monoxide and shut it off and the gas. We went to bed with no heat. We did get an electric heater so all of us could stay in one room and stay as warm as possible. Long story short, Friday they finished everything and it's nice and cozy. I'm wondering if the carbon monoxide was making me sick these past couple of months.

 

This week we played Tic Tac Toe with our cards. This was a very unique technique. You get to use three things in a row on your card and nothing else. We didn't even put images on our cards this week. Let me show you the chart we had to look at.

Now I used the bottom row straight across. You will see all three of these items on the card that I made.

The glitter is part of the snow I made on the bottom and inside the star. I put some glitter on the tree but I don't know if you can see it that clearly. MY GRAFICO IS IN SANTA MODE

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #141 IS WORKING FOR SANTA

Good Evening!! I hope your week is starting out great. I was doing OK until the company that was to look at our furnace shut it down and made sure the gas was shut off also. It's good that he did but now we have to wait until my landlord decides to put the new one in. I have been feeling bad lately and the carbon monoxide that the furnace was putting out was probably doing it. Now I'm trying to get some electric heaters to put in here for now. I can't go anywhere because I have a daugter in school. Family is to far away to stay with or to crowded to stay there. Things will work themselves out. I truely believe in that.

I was lucky to use the same set that I worked with two weeks ago. It's made by Pixel Paper Prints and the set is Santa Claus. I loved the card that I made then with Santa but now I used the bag of toys. See how many cards you can use from just one set. I could make many cards for people on my Christmas card list. I did call my card Bag Of Toys. Not the most original but I could not think of anything else. Now the set I said was Santa Claus so let me show you what the set looks like again.

ROBYN'S FETISH IS HAVING A UNIQUE TECHNIQUE THIS WEEK

BLACK, WHITE, AND ONE OTHER COLOR AT ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #135

 

Good Morning!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with you family and friends. I have to say that this Thanksgiving was one of the best in many, many years. It was nice to sit in the evening and actually relax with stress from the day. My son was back from the east coast and we celebrated his son's birthday. It was late but it just made the day even better. I also spent some time with my mom and grandma. It was great being there. The last time I was there was more then 12 years ago. I feel very blessed with the day I had. It's great to talk about the great things that happen. I now have pictures and memories of this great day.

 

As you can see by my title that our theme is Black, White, and One Other Color. The other color that I used was purple. My favorite color of course. I used the image Brimming Of Flowers from Floppy Latte Digital Designs. She is just a silhouette with flowers in her hair. The flowers are white in her hair. This was a great technique because I could actually pick the third color. Everyone has a favorite color, so this will be a great challenge for you to participate in. In the middle of the brads is the background paper. It's a fun technique that I found where they give you all the parts and I put the paper in the middle. I hope you like it. 1. What did I want to be when I grew up? I wanted to be an accountant. I made it close but never finished that last year to get my degree

 

2. Do you collect anything? Yes. I'm a Noah's Ark fanatic. I have two big curio cabinets full of different figurines and they are all over my house. I also collect angels.

 

3. What is my favorite color? It's purple. Has been ever since I was a little girl. Ask anyone that knows me and they will tell you.

 

4. Where is your favorite place you would love to visit? Australia. I always wanted to see the Koala's and then when I seen the beautiful places there I know that I would love to visit.

 

5. What is my favorite season? It's fall. I love the color of the leaves and the cool air. Plus, my birthday is in the fall. LOL

 

6. Why did you start scrapbooking? I wanted to start a photograph album for my children and their children etc. etc. There is nothing now from my past and wanted to start it.

 

7. Do you have any other hobbies besides scrabooking and cardmaking? Yes, I love to cross-stitch, work with plastic canvas, crochet, and a few more things. I have always been creative since I was little.

 

8. Do you have a favorite movie? It's one that I can watch over and over and cry every time I see it. Beaches is the name. The movie shows true friendship that I always wanted and loved seeing.

 

9. Do you have a favorite animal? I can't say one but there are two. I love dogs and cats. I have two dogs and four cats. I would have more cats and dogs if I lived in the country.

 

10. Do you have a favorite author? Yes. First the bible is my favorite book but my favorite author is Stephen King. I wish I had all his books but I have a great portion of them. He is a wonderful writer and his books have made great movies.

ROBYN'S FETISH GOES VINTAGE

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 134

 

Good Afternoon to everyone!! I'm so sorry that this was not posted here this morning like I usually have it. This has been one eventful weekend and it was not all that pleasant. My hands and arms are welted and bruised from my dog. She is a pure bred Siberian Husky. She wasn't attacking me. She was in

a lot of pain and I was trying to hold her down. She somehow got the clasp of the chain stuck on her leg by the Achilles heel. It took me, my husband and my son over an hour to get the chains cut to get her to a vet for them to get this clasp out of her leg. They were able to get it off and we just have to watch her for a day or two to make sure that she doesn't start favoring her leg. I'm just glad that she is OK. She is a great dog.

 

Now I have told my story let's get to the challenge this week. It's all about vintage. I used an image called Sentiment Flower from the designer A Day for Daisies. I loved this image because you could use the middle for a picture or a poem. I put a little saying in the middle. I know that I miss spelled I'd in the beginning but I didn't notice until the whole card was finished. I forgot to hit that spelling button. Let me tell you what A Day for Daisies is giving the winner of this challenge.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #140 IS ANYTHING GOES

 

Good Morning or Afternoon!! I hope you are all having a great day. Where I am, we are having rain all day. I thought we were in November. Well I have some news to let you all know. Our challenges at My Grafico will be posted on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. We will not longer have feature Mondays for now. So, our challenges will give you two weeks to get your entry in. The design team will be showing you different sets that we worked with on the challenge days. Everyone will be choosing their own set so you will want to go to every one's blog to see what they worked with that week. I like choosing what I'm going to work with. It gives me the freedom of doing what I want. This also is great news for you that our challenges will be ANYTHING GOES for now on.

 

Well let me tell you the set that I worked with this week. The set come from Pixel Paper Prints called Santa Claus. I chose this so I can get ahead on my Christmas cards. This set is absolutely a great set to work with. The way my card came out was because I used the Santa from the set. It went great with the paper that I found in my stash from DCWV. Well it's another beautiful Sunday here in Ohio. I'm still thinking of all the people on the east coast though. People are still out of power. That is way to long to go without power. I know how people are feeling over there because my son is still in New York helping to get power on. He's been there since the day after Sandy hit. He's very tired but just keeps on going. Saturday was his son's third birthday and he's not here to enjoy it. He did get to video chat with him so that was great. I want to wish my grandson a Happy Birthday because I won't get to see him until his dad comes home. I miss them a lot and it's not the same around here without them.

 

This week is every one's favorite challenge. ANYTHING GOES!! I really enjoyed this week that I could do what ever I wanted. Good Morning to everyone!! I want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is affected by the Hurricane Sandy. I see all the news that is going on on the east coast and it's not easy to watch. I very good friends in New Jersey that I have not heard from and my son is working over there with the electric companies to help restore power. It takes so much time at what they are doing that I hope people understand. This is just so devastating.

 

As the title says, we are making manly cards this week. I guess I tend to make cards for kids and other types but not much for the men in my family. I was shocked that my dad wanted to see the cards that I make. So there is a need out there for them. Ok, the designer this week that we worked with is The Crafty Pad. The digital stamp that I used was called Albert Diggin. This is one great image. I really enjoyed working with it. I bet you want to know what the prize is for this week's challenge.

MY GRAFICO HAS A FEATURE THIS MONDAY

 

Hello Everyone!! Thanks for coming to see what's happening at My Grafico. If your on the east coast you may not read this for a couple of days. I live in Ohio and we are getting the wind and rain from Sandy. It has rained here for three days now. It looks so dreary outside that it kind of puts you in a yucky mood. Our road is flooding and so is my basement. It's not that bad in the basement yet but all the stuff down there is up on pallets and shelves. Were suppose to get another 24 to 38 hours of rain and it's suppose to stop. That would be nice if it stops since my grandson's birthday party is this Saturday. He's going to be three. He's growing to fast.

 

Well, let's get to the feature this week. We were able to make our projects from two different sets of digi stamps. The designer for these two sets is Revi Devi. One set is called Wine Tasting Digistamps and the other was Smiley Trains. These are both great sets but I used one of the digital stamps from the Wine Tasting Stamps. Let me show you what these stamps look like:

 

 

 

I love these sets. I actually have some pictures that will look great with the Smiley Train set. I just couldn't find them in time to get my project done for this feature. Now to my card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #131

 

Good Morning!! Did anyone wake up to this awful rain? This is the second day that we have had rain. I can tell you that I honestly had a great time with my grandson this week. I had him from Wednesday to Thursday night. We had trick or treat in our neighborhood on Thursday so I wanted to take him and I actually had him up here. It was great. He hasn't been up here to spend the night in so long that I took everything in. He did find his birthday present and wanted it then. I will be looking for another present this week. He was a little Koala Bear and my dog was a centipede. LOL Well let me just sum it up and say that it was wonderful to spend that much time with him.

 

Let me tell you about this weeks theme. We were using embossing folders on our card. the image that I used was called Frankie from The Stamping Boutique. He is so cute that I couldn't resist him. I love to emboss but I'm still getting into it. I loved the way things turned out after embossing it. I will be using it more now. OK, let me tell you what you are trying to win for this weeks challenge.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #139

WE ARE CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN HERE AT MY GRAFICO

Good Afternoon!!! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!! I'm already tired and ready to go to bed. LOL I still have dinner to make, laundry to do, homework with daughter, and catch up on some of my e-mail. I wish I was paid for all of this work. One day at the spa would be great. I've never been to one but it sounds great.

Well there is a challenge this week and it goes on until October 31st until midnight. The theme is Halloween. We were able to use two sets from Revi Devi Digital stamps and papers. The stamps are called Halloween Sisters and the paper is called Cool Halloween Papers. I used the pot and my own Halloween Paper that my daughter gave me for my birthday.  I will show you the two sets in case you would love to buy them.






These are very cute sets. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. We have decorated our house but not to scary for the little ones. Well here is my card that I made this week. It's called October 31st. 

I hope you like the card. The ghost holding it is my grand daughters favorite thing in my house right now. When you turn it on it lights up and changes colors. MY GRAFICO'S FEATURE OF THE WEEK

WELCOME TO ANOTHER FEATURE FROM MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE BLOG

 

Hello Everyone!! I know I haven't been here for a couple of weeks but I'm trying to get back into the groove again. I'm a little late getting this post out to you because I have the flu. I think I'm going to have to break down and get a flu shot. I have never had one but I think I should get one. I'm just afraid of the things that I have been told about them. I have had some people tell me that they get sick really bad after they get theirs. That is my fear. Well enough about that. Let's get to the stuff that you are here to read.

 

Our feature this week is from Cupcake Cuties. The set that we used is called Love Rocks. There are 6 Digital Papers and 8 elements to work with. The whole set is great. Many things you can do with them. Let me share the card that I made with this set. At My Grafico we are trying to stage our cards to make them exciting. I was worried about doing this because I have never done this before. I found out that I'm more creative then I thought. So here is the photo.

 

 

I hope you like the set up. The flowers are my bouquet from my wedding, a candle from my house and an antique pearl bracelet from my husband's mom. I have to say that I did like how this turned out. Well, I will see you next Monday and I hope you enjoy your week.

I hope you can see my card clear enough. There are white circles on the paper also. The bow threw me off a little on taking the picture. Still haven't figured out why. ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 127

ROBYN'S FETISH IS STITCHING THINGS UP FOR THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE

 

Good Morning!! Hope things are all well with you. Thanks for joining me for another challenge here at Robyn's Fetish. Hope your past week was good for you. We are experiencing what fall is going to be like here. It's going to be great. If anyone remembers, I love the fall weather. Although I will have to get the furnace ducts cleaned this week and put the storm windows in. My kids get cold like it's winter. They won't be able to handle the 50's that it's suppose to be next weekend. I think this is the latest we have ever turned our furnace on. Saving on the bills is a great thing though.

 

This week we made cards with stitching on them. The stitching could be real or faux. I wanted to use my sewing machine but my son has totally messed my machine up. He makes bean bags for corn holes. The designer that we used this week is Bugaboo Stamps. My image is called fireman truck. I love doing the images with the little boys. They come out so cute. I ended up sewing my stitching by hand. I think it turned out real cute. Here is the prize that you will be working for this week.

Good Morning!! I am a little late writing this. Didn't get it done last night. I had a Craft Fair that I was in yesterday and I was sick at the same time. I was miserable. So when I came home I went to bed. Craft Fair was very interesting. Alot of people had so many different things that I never seen made before. Alot of talent out there. I'm into my cardmaking and scrapbooking but I wouldn't mind learning some of the things I seen. Well enough of my crazy day, let's get to this unique challenge.

 

We are saving our page in a book with the great bookmarks we made this week. Yes, our challenge theme is "Bookmarks" I read alot so I can always use a bookmark but I made one for a child to use. The designer this week is The Crafty Boutique. The image that I used was from a set called Jungle Friends and I used the elephant for my bookmark. He is a cute little elephant and I also picked him since my son loves elephants. Here is the prize that you will be trying to win for this challenge.

 MY GRAFICO'S NEW CHALLENGE #137

 

Well, we are back for another Monday Challenge. I hope your week is starting off on a good note. Today is my husband's birthday. He hates to celebrate his birthday but the kids didn't care. They went and picked out their own gifts for him and spent their own money. They are starting to grow up and learn how to give. My husband was so surprised. My daughter made him open her gift at 7:00 this morning before she went to school and he had to put it together. She wrote a beautiful letter in the card that she gave him. It was the most beautiful thing. I don't know where she got her sentence but she wished him fun, love and laughter. This was so beautiful cominng from a 13 year girl.

 

This week we are working with  Lady Lady Bugs. The designer of this set was Pixel Paper Prints. This is a cute set that there are many different ways of using them. I decided to use the flowers and added lady bug embellishments. This would be a great set to buy to make those cute layouts with children. Here is the set for you to look at to see all the cute images.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #125

WE ARE LEARNING HERE AT THE ROBYN'S FETISH

WOW!! It's a new Sunday again. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I've been in a cleaning mode and creating on the side. I have had my grand kids for the past couple of weekends, so nothing has been getting done that should be around here. I have to look at it another way though. Kids grow up so fast and my grandson is already going to be three in November. Where has the time gone? Grand kids seem that they grow up faster then your own kids. Every moment is precious and I just want to treasure it forever. That's why I started scrapbooking when my daughter was born. I want to share those memories with everyone.

This week we are going back to school. That is the theme of this week's challenge. Our designer for this challenge is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. I used the digital stamp "Boy Writing". I wanted to make the card for a child that is in elementary school. I'm so glad that I had this paper in my stash. It totally went with this theme. For this challenge, this will be the prize that you will be winning.
