A NEW MONDAY'S FEATURE FROM MY GRAFICO

Hope you are having a great Monday morning!! I'm a little slow today. This weather has really played with my sinuses the last couple of days. I almost had a new granddaughter last week. They called Amanda and told her to go to the hospital because of her BP and they thought they were going to have to take the baby. Of all days, it was on my son's birthday. Wouldn't that be neat to have your daughter on your birthday. Well, she was sent home and they have to tests on her at least twice a week. She was in there all day. We were wondering if she was going to have her. She has three weeks left so I will keep you informed. I'm getting excited.

The feature designer this week is Cupcake Cutiees Design. We used a set that was called Easter Candy and Cakes Clip Art Elements. As soon as I seen the jelly beans I knew I wanted to do something with them. My favorite candy but you can only find it this time of the year. There are many items with this set so you can make many cards and they don't have to be about Easter. The cakes are also cute on there. This is a set that I think that you are going to want to add to your collection. I'm glad it's in mine now. Here's a picture for you to see what I am talking about.

Great set!! Don't forget that you have a week left to get your projects in for this last challenge. The theme was Easter or Spring and you have until March 30th until midnight to get those in.

Well let's get to my project that I did use Jelly Beans in the card.

I hope you like the glitter on the jelly beans. I thought that I would make them pop a little. The carrots also have glitter on them. I'm going to let you know again the our Design Team had a great time with this set also so don't forget to see their blogs. MY GRAFICO'S MONDAY FEATURE WITH WHIMSY IRISH ELEMENTS

How is everyone this Monday? Of course it's another start of a new week and it's also going to be the beginning of March. Two things that I know off the top of my head is St Patrick's Day is coming and so is my oldest son's birthday. He really makes me feel old. He will be turning 23. It doesn't seem possible. I call hime my gunie pig because everything that I started learning about being a mother was with his help. Now he's the one giving me the chance to be a great grandmother to my first grandchild. It's been our inside joke since I can remember. It's nice to have this bond with him. I'm so glad that I'm close to him and my other children. I never really had that and was determined that my kids knew they were loved.  I really rambled on about that. Let's get to our feature this week.

Our feature this week is Whimsy Irish Elements. These were designed by Cupcake Cuties. These digital stamps can be used for anything. I know there are some people out there that don't believe in St Patrick's Day but these stamps can be used for other purposes. You can use the card that I made this week for alot of things. Here is the picture of the set so you can interpret it any way that you would like.

The little girls could be used for anything. I think they are so adorable. I'm glad that we were able to feature them for you.

Don't forget to enter the challenge that is still going on until March 2nd at midnight. All you have to do is get a project made with flowers. Who doesn't love using flowers on their project? I'm wishing you all Good Luck with this one.

The card is a little darker but for some reason the picture wouldn't come out to show you that. I spent alot of time trying to get it to but had no luck. I think this summer I'm ging to take some photography class to see what I'm doing wrong. I would have loved to become a photographer but my life didnt turn out that way. I love to take pictures.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #75

Hello Everyone and Thank You for visiting my blog for the new My Grafico Challenge. It seems the closer we get to Christmas the faster time flys. It felt like I was just making last week's card and now I'm doing the next in the same day. I have been coming up with some ideas for Christmas Cards and Layouts but I just don't know when I'm going to fit them in my scheldule. At least I do make a sketch of my ideas so I don't forget it later. There are even some sketches that I have clipped the picture to so I know I am going to use it with that sketch. Saves alot of time in the long run. There's my little tip of the week for you. Hope you can find it useful to you. Now let's get to the challenge.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #71

Hello to everyone!! I'm so glad today is Wednesday. I get to post today's challenge and show you my card. My family laughed about it and they are excited to see what kind of comments that I receive about it. My family is great. We laugh and joke with each other everyday. Sometimes all day long. I can still play the same April Fool's joke on my boys that I have played on them since they were little boys. You would think that by now they would know it was coming but they fall for it every time. Even my son that doesn't live at home anymore. I'm just glad that I have raised great kids and made this a family that is so close.

This week's challenge is embossing. You could do any kind of embossing with any kind of project. I'm still learning embossing but I do love working with it. There's more embossing tools then I had thought. It's amazing how different your project can change by using any kind of embossing. With the embossing we worked with Breakfast type foods and Autumn type paper. So if you are thinking of breakfast and trying to think of something funny just keep reading and you will soon find my card.
