ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG CHALLENGE # 171 "ADD A CHARM"

Hello Everyone!! Welcome to this Sunday's challenge post. I can honestly say that I am sitting in weather that feels like September. Here it has been in the very low 80's or high 70's for a whole week. I have had no air conditioning on at all this week. Just open windows and the nice breeze flowing in. It feels like September but those kids just are not in school. My daughter has 17 days left of summer vacation. Mama counting down. I love spending time with her but you just need a break here and there. We will just have our special weekends again. I have two sons but when they get over 20, forget about spending a lot of time with them. They have their own lives to live. Just miss that time with them.

Robyn's Fetish is our great sponsor this week. She has sponsored a lot of these challenges and has the greatest images to work with. I always love when she comes out with new ones. I always want to get them and work with them. This week we get to play with charms with our images. I chose the image called "Scarecrow and The Bird." This is the most adorable scarecrow to work with. You can make many different type of cards with this image. I need to tell you what the prize is this week.

Now let me show you the card that I made with this image. I called the card Pumpkin Patch.

Well I hope you found my scarecrow cute. I fell in love with him. My biggest fan is trying to get it from me. If my daughter could have any, she would probably take them all. I wanted to let you know that if you can't see the sign, It says Pumpkin Patch on it. Let me tell you the products that I used for this card.

ROBYNS FETISH CHALLENGE # 170 "FRIENDSHIP CARD WITH SENTIMENT ON THE FRONT"

Good Morning!! I know that it is early but it is a new Sunday with our new challenge of the week. The weeks seem to get faster and faster with school approaching soon for my daughter. This means buying school clothes, backpacks, shoes and all the required supplies that the school wants. She is going in the 8th grade and qualified for two high school courses to take. I'm so excited for her. She will have two high school credits before she even reaches the ninth grade. I hope she stays on this track all through school. She has the possibility to get scholarships. That would be great because she wants to be a veterinarian. That takes a lot of schooling. She already know how many years she has to attend. I don't know if anyone knows how proud I am of her.

JELLY PARK

Jellypark will be our sponsor for this week's challenge. They gave us great images for using on our cards about friends. The sentiments that the design team are great. Hopefully you will get my little saying if not I will tell you after I show you my card. The image that I used is called "Ice Cream Van." I remember the ice cream trucks that use to go around the neighborhoods and sold all kinds of cold treats. Well, let's get to the prize for the winner of this challenge.

Now it's time to show you my card. Don't forget about my sentiment.

So, did you get my little funny in the sentiment? I tried to put green on the ice cream cones because mint chocolate chip ice cream is my favorite so I used it in the sentiment. The paper in the back has many words on it like friends, love star, and many more. This went perfect with the challenge for this week. Let me tell you the rest of the items that I used to make my friendship card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 169 "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"

I don't have to let you know that we are at another Sunday for a whole new challenge. Good Morning to everyone and I hope you awake enough for another new and fun challenge. I had fun with my card but the weather was a different story. We went through out first heat wave of the summer here in Ohio. It was in the 90's and with the heat index it felt like we were in hundreds. I only have one window air conditioner so only one room was cool. Believe me we didn't leave that room. This would be a great investment but I rent my home. Now this next week we get in the 80's and rain all week. Where is our happy medium? It always goes to one extreme to another. Well let's move on to the challenge.
Spyder's Other Corner
You guessed it. Dragosmoore, Spyder's Other Corner is our sponsor this week. They have the cutest images and on Wednesday they have a freebie. The image that I used is called Puss In Stocking. This has an adorable little cat inside a stocking for a child's surprise. This was one perfect image for me to use for Christmas in July. I also was able to use a new style of card that I seen. It took a few tries but I did get it to work. They will be easy now since I know how to make them. I hope you like the new style. Before I show you my cute image and different style of card let's tell you what you will be trying to win this week.

THE ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 168 "THINGS WITH WINGS"

Good Morning to everyone. I'm back from my little vacation. It was nice to be away for a little while, even though I was only an hour and a half away. The dogs were so little that I wish I could remember what breed they are. It was the first time I seen them and stayed at my mom's. The only thing about being that close is your kids still find you and call you with their problems. They knew I needed some alone time but that didn't matter to them. Then I come home and my grandson is staying the night. It turned it to having him for three days. He is just so active. I needed a vacation from my vacation. There is so much more to tell but I won't bore you with it all.

LIMITED RUNS DIGITAL STAMPS

Isn't the boy and girl above cute.  Limited Runs is sponsoring our challenge this week. We are going to work with things with wings. My image that I chose was called Freddy The Turkey. Yes, I am thinking of Thanksgiving already. I'm really trying to get some of my cards done early so I can spend more time shopping and wrapping. Freddy The Turkey is so adorable. He still has all his feathers on him so I could try and make the feathers with different colors. I liked working on the detailed work. After reading this, you could head over to Limited Runs and see all their great images that you would like to make for your holidays. To start off you may win the prize that the sponsor is giving to one lucky winner this week.

Here is Freddy the Turkey on the card that I made for Thanksgiving.

See the coloring in the feathers. I thought that it turned out great. I was shocked that I could get all the little feathers to stand out. Add the Thanksgiving paper and fall colors and there is the card. It's amazing of the fall stuff you can find at this time of year. Here are the products that I used to make this card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 166 "AT THE BEACH"

Good Morning!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I know that I am. I'm at my mom's house babysitting two little dogs and her house. My family is at home while I am here. I get a week of rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, I will not have a project for you. I could not bring all my scrapbooking stuff with me to make a creation. I know as soon as I start working on something I will need something that is not here. My mom lives to far away to just run over and get something. I'm also in a county that I don't now where to go for supplies. My daughter has already called and said she missed me. She get to be with her father and brother for the week. No girl stuff for her. I so feel bad for that. The only thing she will enjoy is driving the tractor when they bale hay. ( I hope I spelled that right)

OAK POND CREATIONS

Oak Pond Creations is the sponsor of this week's challenge "At The Beach." I used a cute image named Fancy Fish. When I seen the tail of the fish I knew I wanted to try coloring this one and making a card out of it. She has many digital stamps that I would love to have. She has some of the most beautiful stamps that you would all be interested in. You can look at each image and just see the card that you can make with it. I wish I had time to use all the cute stamps that I see. Let me tell you what Oak Pond creations is giving to the lucky winner this week.

I hope you see what I mean by the tail. I hope you can see that I used many colors to color the tail. I wanted this fish to be unique. This card is what you would see under the ocean at the beach. Let me now show you the list of the products that I used.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 165 "RECIPE CHALLENGE -- PINK, BORDER, SCALLOPS AND A BOW"

Good Morning Everyone!! It feels like I haven't been here forever. I would like to apologize for not having a project and letting you know about the challenge last week. I ended up with bronchitis and was made to go to the doctor. I never like to go to the doctor but my husband insisted. I guess it was a good thing he did. I was put on an antibiotic to get rid of it. I'm still trying to get my energy back but I'm able to work on more things, especially my projects. Maybe this little break will help me with my lack of creativeness. I'm just glad that I am back to my blog and projects. I will be gone the first week of July so I probably will not have a posting or project here. I will try and let you know about the challenge so you will know what you need to work on.

DIGI STAMP CHARACTERS

I just love that little mouse up above. As you can see, our sponsor is Digi Stamps Character. The character that I used for my card is a mouse in a bubble bath. This is such a cute little mouse. I'm sure you would love to get this to add to your digital stamp collection. I was surprised at how quickly I came up with a card for this recipe challenge. But, when I started working on it, I forgot the scallops. So that did take me some time to figure out where I would put these. You will be able to see them on the card. I didn't make this a certain type of card. Just blank inside for someone to put their own saying. Before I show you my card I made for this challenge I need to tell you the prize from Digi Stamps Characters.

This I have to say is one of my favorite card. I will have a really hard time giving it away. The border is suppose to be bubbles that I found on a stencil. I'm sure you can see the pink and bow. The scallops are on top of the box where the mouse is place on. I think this turned out really great for the recipe challenge. Here are the items used to make this card.

I will still let you know that you need to add your projects at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. You will also see the design teams project there on that page. Many different ideas that we all came up with. Hope you have a Wonderful Sunday and a Great Week!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #163 "DIE CUTS OR PUNCHES"

Good Morning!! We have just went through the first week of June already. My first whole week of having my daughter at home. You would think that all the running would be done but she starts practicing for soccer this week. They will be doing practices, soccer camp and then the tryouts are the first of August. They say we really don't have anything to worry about. She is a good player but this is the first time she has had to tryout. I'm afraid her nerves may get the best of her. Maybe with all the practicing and learning she will be confident knowing she will be on the team. There are two teams so I think the odds are in her favor. This year will be even more running then what we are use to. I guess that's the life of having an athlete in the family.

Whoopsi Daisy

Here is the sponsor of this week's challenge. WHOOPSI DAISY. It's always hard to pick one of their images because they are so great. So, the image that I did use is one of four images on a page. This was my favorite image that I loved from this set. She is an adorable little girl having tea time with her dolly. I turned this card into a birthday card for a little girl. I really like the way it turned out. Before I show you my card I will let you know what you will be winning for this challenge.

Now here is the birthday card that I made with my image.

Now since the challenge was die cuts or punches I used a punch. The punch has three different hearts on it and the one above is the one I used. I punched some of the hearts with the deep purple and the others from the background paper that I used on the card. Then, I linked them all together and add rhinestones on the light colored hearts. They are purple also. I hope you can see them well. Here are the rest of the products that I used on my birthday card.

That's everything that I used to make this card. So, now we are at an end of another Sunday challenge. Just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to see the rest of the Design Team's projects and enter your own. If you see one you like real well, please leave them a comment on their blog. Well until next Sunday (which is Father's Day) have fun with this week's challenge. Hope the rest of your day is great and have a Wonderful Week!!
