ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #226 "CARDS FOR MEN"

Hello!! Hope you are having a good day so far. I'm finally starting things off on a good step. I didn't have to wake up at 5 in the morning and I have no soccer today. This has been the most busiest week that I have had in years. My daughter started school Tuesday and it's her first year in high school. I cried all the way home after I dropped her off. Things go so fast from here and I just want to hold onto her more. I was shocked when she came home and said she hated it. She wants to go back to the eight grade. Things are so much different and she is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting. I give her another week or so and she will be in the hang of things. She is so wore out when I pick her up from soccer practice or a game. she is in bed before me now. She has a lot on her plate for the next month in a half. I could write a book but I want to enjoy my day off.

Making cards for men are hard for me. I don't know why but it had been. So when I seen this challenge I was saying oh - no. I did get a great image though from Oak Pond Creations who is our sponsor this week. My image is named "Grumpy Fish." Every man loves to fish so I thought this would be a cute image. Oak Pond Creations had a great variety to choose from for the men. Take a little time and jump over to her store for a quick look. You may see something you like when you are there and want to be in this challenge. Oak Pond Creations will be giving the challenge winner

Here is what I did with "Grumpy Fish." I hope you enjoy it.

He is a grumpy fish. I had this fish paper left over for another project and decided I wanted to use it but not to much that it takes the focus away from the fish. The darker paper is suppose to look like the deeper part of the ocean and the light blue is the water towards to the top of the ocean. I wanted to tell you so you see why I was using the papers that I selected. Here is where everything came from.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- K & Company & DCWV
Font -- Chiller (Cute Font For The Ocean)
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

Not many items but what I did use I think made a great card. Putting Dad on the card made it even look more like a card for a man. So I hope this gave you a little inspiration for making a card for a man. Now, I'm going to enjoy the rest of today and I hope you do as well. Remember to go to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to enter your project and look at the other cards that the design team made to give you more inspiration and see the great cards that you. Have a Wonderful Week and I will be here next Sunday for another great challenge.
