ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 219 "ANIMALS"

Hello!! I hope you all enjoyed your 3 day weekend for the 4th of July. There were ton of fireworks everywhere for people to go and see. I don't know if anyone out of the state of Ohio know that Columbus has one of the biggest fireworks display in the United States. It's a long day festival until the fireworks goes off that night. I went when they first started doing these and it's nice but you have to have your walking shoes on. I was shocked to hear that people were up there at 5:00 am to reserve their seat. That would be too long of a day for me. My kids ended up going with their own friends to see fireworks in neighboring counties. They had a blast. Our neighbors always spend about $300.00 to $500.00 every year so that's all we watch and sometimes we don't do that. Maybe it's our age I don't know. Wow this is really hard to say but we are actually through the first week of July. Wednesday is my son's birthday and he will be 22 going on 12. LOL He is now where near acting like an adult. I think he is enjoying life right now. Enough about me, let's get to the challenge.

Animals is a great theme for a project. There are so many to pick from. When you go to our sponsor Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More you will see many cute animals in her shop. I was able to use her image "Starfish On A Rock." Very different animal to work with on this card this week. I had two different pieces of paper I wanted to use and couldn't decide which one so I used both. Before I show you the card I made let me tell you what Robyn is going to give on lucky winner.

Now lets go and see what I did with my starfish.

I hope you like what you see. The bottom is suppose to be the sand on the ocean floor and then the rocks above the sand. Then the water is waves that is on top of everything else. It was hard to get that effect but that is what I tried to do. Here are my items that I used.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio
Paper -- DCWV
Embellishments -- Dress It Up
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

This is the end of my post and I hope you enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what animal you decide to do. Just remember to add your cards to the link at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog so you will be entered in the challenge. Good Luck to all of you and please leave a message to let me know what you think of my work. Have a Wonderful week and I will see you next Sunday.
