Scrapbooking & Crafting Friends March Project

Hello Everyone. Hope you are enjoying your Wednesday. It's sunny here again and it's even a little warmer then the other day. Instead of working, I would love to just go outside and sit in my swing. I'm getting Spring fever even more as the days keep getting warmer.

If you remember awhile back I told you that I was on the Design Team for Scrapbooking & Crafting Friends Blog. You can find that blog here: http://www.scfdesignteam.blogspot.com/. We have a great bunch of ladies that are making great projects for this blog. There seems to be a new projects on there every day. We use the Digital Stamps and Digital Papers from the My Grafico Store. Each project that we use I will give you the url that goes directly to the set so you can go right there and buy the set if you would like. I just love the designers there. They make great digital stamps and papers.

Here is another project that I made with this Digital Stamp Set below. The Digital Stamp set is called Beneath The Waves and the Designer is Mels Brushes. You can find this set at the My Grafico Store here: http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/beneath-the-waves/prod_2248.html You will see the price on the stamp set plus go ahead and view some of the others. You may find more things there that you just have to have. Well here is the stamp set that I used.

Very cute set. There are many ideas you can make from this set. Here is my project that I made using the fish. I thought he was adorable.

I think this turned out cute. So if you would like to see more great projects from this set just go to Scrapbooking & Crafting Friends Blog.

I still only scrapbook the "old school" way, LOL -- you know, printed photos, card stock, stickers, etc. I would love to get into digital scrapbooking, but three things hold me back:

1) I'm a little worried that I will miss the "process" of it all if I do everything via the computer. I love the entire process of cutting, cropping, pasting everything onto a page.

2) I have no idea which program would be the best. I am a Creative Memories gal, so I'm thinking I might try their program. But really, I don't know what else is out there.

3) I have SO MANY supplies -- enough to do about 10 full 12x12 books. Paper, stickers, photo tape, etc. Quite the small fortune in supplies. I seriously would have to use it all up before I could start with digital...or else I'd have some serious guilt!

But I have to admit, I love the look of the digital books. It's something that I definitely want to look into.

Oh, one more thing...I love going on my scrapbook retreats. Do they even do digital scrapbooking at scrapbook retreats? LOL -- I guess it must be a heck of a lot easier to tote your stuff around if all you need is your laptop!!
