MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #67

Hello Everyone!! I hope you are having a Wonderful Wednesday and a great start to the fall season. It's suppose to be in the lower 90's today so I can't call that fall. Fall has always been my favorite season for many reason's. My birthday is in fall and so is Halloween. My Halloween decorations for outdoors has become larger then my Christmas decorations. I can also say that my favorite color is purple and orange is the next. Also with the fall season I know that I will start that famous Christmas shopping so it's done before December. I love giving gifts and seeing the look on people's faces when they get what they wanted. So of coursed Christmas is my favorite Holiday. Just a few things for you to learn about me. Now I know you are all excited for our challenge this week.

This weeks challenge is paper piecing. We were to use Mod Owls and Dotted line paper. The owls are adorable and I loved the papers but have never made anything with Owls. I can honestly say that I had trouble with the Owls. I couldn't think of a funny quote or theme for them. So at the last day before I'm to submit my project I think of two ideas. The card that I ended up making that you will see shortly and one that I knew I could not get finished in time but would like to share it real quick with you in case you would like to try it. I thought of an address book with one of the Owls sitting on a branch and a couple of Owls at the bottom of the front page. I would use the words WHOO WHOO because only you would know who was in your book. I really do want to finish this idea because I think it will be a great gift for Christmas. MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #66

I'm looking at my last blog and noticed I haven't been on here for a week. I have been busy with finishing projects, having a birthday party for my daughter and fighting the pink eye and MRSA. I had such a great two days last week and now I'm back to being sick again. I guess I will have to go back to the doctor so they can try something different. Moving on now.

This week we were to work with western digital papers, wild west quotes and also to add a little metal to the project. My daughter said I always do projects that are boyish. LOL So now I made it for a girl. You never realize how much kids pick up on things that you don't. She's one smart 11 year old. So I enjoyed this project because she was very happy. Now to what you need to do to win these papers and stamps.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE # 65

I would like to say Hello to everyone and apologize for not posting the challenge last Wednesday. Unfortunately I had the MRSA virus and pink eye on top of that. Still recovering but doing much better. This is the third time with MRSA so I kind of know the drill. It's just hard on the whole family. Well enough about me. Let's get to the challenge this week.

This week we are working with Digital Paper and Digital Images that pertain to the beach. I'm sure everyone has those summer pictures that are waiting to be put on a scrapbook page. I have to admit that this was the first time that I worked with digital paper but it was so much easier then I thought.
