ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #292 "USE SOME BROWN AND YELLOW"

Hello!! How was every one's Thanksgiving that celebrates it? Good here. I actually seen all my kids and grand kids on one day. Doesn't happen that often around here. We were busy all week though. My daughter helped me this week since she had no school. We cut up our pumpkins to cook down and made four pies with enough left over for Christmas. We made two chocolate pies and started to prepare stuff for the big day. Then my husband cooked the turkey as usual and we actually had dinner by one o'clock. Friday was the day that I actually did absolutely nothing and even took at nap. It was nice to have a day like this. But now I need to get back to my routine and prepare myself for the Christmas season. All that shopping, decorating, wrapping, and then preparing for the big day and making of the dinner. Things are just going to fast this season.

So with the last week of November we will be making cards with yellow and brown. Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies. They have been very grateful in letting us use their images and sponsoring our challenges. Thank You for being so gracious. Your images are fantastic and I love working with them. The image that I used for this card is called, "Playing In The Pumpkin Patch." This image has two pumpkins with a boy sitting on the biggest one and a dog trying to get up to him. It's a really cute image so let's see the card I made but before I do let's tell you the great prize A Day For Daisies is giving that lucky winner

Isn't it cute. I loved this paper I had for the back ground. It's perfect for the challenge. I didn't have any sunflowers so I made flowers that had colors from a sunflower. I think it all turned out great. So let me tell you where all the items came from.

Paper -- K &Company
Flowers -- Creative Memories & Kaiser Crafts

I have had a great time with this card and writing this post for you to read. I would really love to see the cards that you come up with. So go to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and enter your card. You will also see the Design Teams creations using brown and yellow.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #255 "PURPLE AND GREEN"

Hello to everyone who is reading this. Hopefully your morning is off to a good start. I'm not doing to bad so far. It's still the old laundry day and other to do things to do day. I did have a nice Saturday night though. The kids were on their gadgets and my husband and I was just watching the TV. Well we gathered the kids and had a "Watch a movie night with the family." Of course, you get I'm texting or something else. They came in and actually laughed through the movie. I think they liked it but won't admit it. When they grow up and have families they will understand why I like doing things with them now. Then they will understand why these little things mean to me.

Let's get to this week's sponsor. It is Anne's Digital Art. She has an etsy store with all kinds of cute images. I was able to use her cute digital image "Grand Kids At The Swimming Hole." These are frogs that are swimming as their Grandmother is watching them. I just love these little frogs. I just realized when I was working on this one that I have done other cards with frogs. I may like them more then I thought. I did have fun coloring this image of the swimming hole. Before I show you these little things let me tell you about the prize Anne's Digital art is giving one lucky winner.

I'm now going to show you the card that I made with the frogs.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- Miss Elizabeth's
Purple Buttons -- Crystaline
Green Buttons -- Basic Grey
Flowers -- Prima Floral Embellishments

I'm now at the end of another post for now. I actually have two posts this week. So make sure that you check out the other one to see what I did for that challenge. Now if your in the mood to do something in purple and green make sure you enter this challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Make sure that you link your project back to the challenge blog. I have to get to some chores but it is going to be hard with all this sun. It's so pretty out. See you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #254 "PEARLS OR GEMS"

Good Morning to everyone out there. Hope you have had a great week. Mine has not been a good one. I love the snow but the ice that hides under it is horrible. I have actually fell twice this week that has really messed up my back and it has made my neck really sore. I was more embarrassed when I fell in front of my daughter and her boyfriend. We were leaving their Winter Concert and on my way to the car I fell on black ice. Walked out to the school the same way but on the back that ice was there. That was also the first night that I met her boyfriend and his parents. I will never forget that night now when I met him.

We have a new sponsor this week and I think you will really like her work. I was buying her images before she sponsored us this week. Aurora Wings is this great sponsor I have been talking about. If you get a chance you really need to see her store. The image that she let me use for this challenge is called "Camellia Sprite." She has beautiful flowers and a butterfly in and around her hair. I found this paper that I thought would be great to go with her. Looks a little antique. I'm really excited to show you my card so you can see this beautiful image so I will tell you what she is giving to that one lucky winner.

Winner's Choice
Of
 Digital Stamps
Up To The Total Of
$10.00 Listed Value

This is a great prize for the images that she has. So, let me show you "Camellia Sprite."

I told you the image was beautiful. I loved coloring her. It took some time but it was well worth it. I just loved this paper with the image. Let me tell you what I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio
Paper -- Colorbok
Lace With Pearl -- Say It In Pearls
Gems -- Pebbles
Glittered Pink Flower -- Prima Flowers
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils

I really hope that you liked this weeks challenge and will want to participate. Our Design Team has made cards with other Aurora Wings images. Just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to see all those cards for some inspiration. I will see you next week and hopefully I won't have any accidents this week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #253 "USE A DIGI"

Hello Everyone!!! Hope you are having a nice weekend and waking up to a great Sunday morning. Today is the 1st of March. I knew it was coming but it was to fast. Then I find out that next weekend is time change. That always messes me up for the first week but I love when it's light for more hours. Feels like you can do a lot more in a day with more daylight. It also makes it seem like warm weather will be coming soon so the kids will go outside and not cooped up here with me. They have cabin fever really bad. I'm the only one in the family that likes winter.

Robyn is going to sponsor our challenge this week. She is great at letting us use her great images for our projects. I actually used one of the newer digital stamps that she has. The stamp is called "Easter Egg Tree." I chose this one because it is cute and it would make a great card for Easter. The tree is full of Easter eggs hanging from it and I added a few around the bottom of it. It's always great to show you the digital images that Robyn's has in her store. So you have many images you could chose from with the prize that she is giving this week's winner.

So now that you have read the prize and who our sponsor is, let me show you the card that I made with the "Easter Egg Tree."

I really hope that you liked the card.  I wanted to make the eggs on the tree look pastel but they seem to come out a little darker then I had wanted. I had these bunny embellishments and wanted to use them on this card. I think they look perfect for the theme I made the card. So, now I would like to tell you the products that I used to make this.

Well, I'm done with my first post of March. I really hope this month goes a little slower because Easter is coming soon. I have no clue what to get the grand kids. I will have to start looking. Well, I need to start my Sunday laundry and try to sneak in some crafting time. I hope you have a Great Week and I will be back next Sunday. Don't forget to visit Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to see the other digi cards and enter your project.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #252 "BIRTHDAY CARDS FOR A TEENAGE GIRL"

Good Morning again for another Sunday Challenge. Believe it or not this is the last challenge for the month of February. This is also the weekend of the first major snow storm for the winter. I know people may think I'm crazy but I am loving it. It's so pretty watching the snow fall and how it looks on the trees outside. My daughter has been out of school all last week and my husband was told that they weren't going to work either. I have had the whole family home this past week. It's been nice spending some time together but I think my daughter is getting cabin fever. She actually loves going to school and she is missing her soccer practices. This is great Ohio weather. That's why I won't live anywhere else. I have always said that winter was my favorite season.

I like the challenge that we have this week. Now that my daughter is a teenager this was perfect for me to do. Deedee's Digis is our great sponsor for this week. I just love the different categories they have in their shop. I picked the digital stamp called "Fluttering By." This has a butterfly by itself and also a butterfly on a flower. I used the one with the flower. I have so many people in my family that loves butterflies it seemed perfect to make a teenage card with them. Before I go on to show you my card with this beautiful image, let me tell you about the prize Deedee's Digis is giving to one lucky winner.

$15 Gift Certificate
To
Deedee's Digis Store

Now, let me show you the card I made with "Fluttering By."

I knew that this paper would be perfect for this image. I added the maroon and purple cardstock behind the butterfly paper just to make it pop a little bit more. I thought the added flowers looked good with the flower I colored under the butterfly. I've heard the sentiment before so that's what I used. I just don't know if I heard them together of at different times. I think it went well together. Here is what I used to make this card for a teenager.

Well, he we are. Done with another post and the last one of the month. I hope you found some inspiration from my card and you can get some more inspiration from our design team's cards that are at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. Love to see what you enter this week. Have a Wonderful Week and I will see you next month. LOL

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE#251 "SQUARE CARDS"

Hello Again!! It's very strange having two posts so close together. I do find it fun to show what I am working on. I hope everyone out there had a great Valentine's Day. I was able to do some crafting, looking at some blogs, read a little facebook and  then watched NASCAR. It was a rather a very relaxing day. I'm also really excited that the races will be on again. These races are great to watch on a Sunday when there is nothing else on.

I'm sure you would like to get to know about this week's challenge. We have Oak Pond Creations sponsoring the square cards challenge. This is always one of the challenges that I love working with. For some reason I find them easier to work on. Oak Pond Creations let me use one of the cutest little animal images. The name of the image is "Benedict Bullfrog." I'm not normally a frog person but he is very cute. I'm sure this is one image that you will want to have. Thank You for letting me use this great image. Since they are sponsoring us here is the prize that they will be giving one lucky winner.

I'm so excited to show you my Benedict Bullfrog. My little bullfrog has some friends in the pond and they are a little happy. Here is my card

I hope you think those frogs are as cute as I do. I really had fun making this one. The gems are called petals. So I used them to kind of look like lily pads. I guess you just have to use your own imagination. Here are the items I used to make Benedict Bullfrog.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #250 "VALENTINE CARDS"

Good Morning to everyone!! Hope everyone is doing OK today. Sorry for no post last week. I do hope you read Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to find out the previous challenge. It's always posted there if you don't find it here. I only miss a post if something was going on in my personal life and there was. Nothing that I really want to tell to everyone like this. So I'm going to get to the challenge now and next week I'm sure I will have great things to tell.

I can't believe that it is close to Valentine's Day already. Around here we just call it Hallmark Day. I don't need a special day to show my husband how much I love him. Imagine That!.... digis by Kris is our great sponsor for this week. Kris let me use her digital stamp called "Polar Love." This is a very cute image for Valentine's Day. There is a cute little bear and mouse under a mailbox with falling hearts. I just loved this image. Let me tell you what Kris will be giving as a prize for this week's challenge.

Imagine That!....digis by Kris Store

I'm excited to show you the image that I used on my card. So, here it is.

Isn't the image adorable. I did put my last name on the mail box. Not that my husband would know who this was from. I know it's a day that we do not celebrate, but this card goes perfect for the day. I love this stencil I used. All the hearts on it are wavy instead of just a straight line. I did use ink around the edges of the heart and the sentiment. I want to tell you all the items that I used to make this. There are a little bit more things used then normal.

Red Heart Gemstones -- The Paper Studio
Sentiment -- Imagine That!....digis by Kris
Flowers -- Wild Orchid Crafts
Glitter -- Ranger Stickles (Crystal Ice)
Ink Pad -- Close To My Heart (X-mas Red)
Colored Markers

I know that's a lot of items but I only used a little of each one. I did have fun making this one. I wish it would have fit in my first sketch but this turned out really cute. I do hope that you will enter our challenge this week over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. I do admit these are fun cards to make and you will have a chance to win the prize. So, I hope that you have a Wonderful Sunday and a Great Week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #246 "MYTHICAL CREATURES"

Good Morning!!! How was your week? My husband ended up not working this week because of the temperatures and wind chills under 0 degrees and my daughter was home all week also. A lot of family time this week. I even talked my husband into watching a scary movie with me and listen to him laugh through the whole thing. Oh well, it was time together without kids. Speaking of kids, my first born asked his girlfriend to marry him this week and she said yes. He called me before he did it to get my opinion and make sure I was OK with it. I thought that was so sweet of him. It's great he still talks to me the way he use to. I will always support my kids no matter what. Congratulations Joshua and Jodi.

This weeks challenge was different for me. I know the image I used, Whimsical Dragon, was really adorable. I had a hard time of how I was going to make it whimsical but the dragon done it all for me. The image I used was from The Paper Shelter. They are our sponsor this week.

They have an awesome site so I hope you go and visit them. Their giving away a great prize as you can see from above. Who wouldn't want to spend $15 on some digital stamps. Valentine's Day is coming. You can get those cards started now.

Here is my Whimsical Dragon that I made into a Birthday Card.

I loved the sentiment. I know that it's used a lot but I thought it was perfect for this card. I have a little girls birthday coming up so I think this would just be perfect unless she hates pink. Then I would have to do one in her favorite color. Here are the items I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- The Paper Studio & Core' dinations
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Ribbon -- Stamp'n Up
Flowers -- Wild Orchids Crafts

Well Thank You for visiting my post today. I hope you liked the card as much as I actually did. I'm going to try and enjoy the rest of my day and I hope you all do to. Have a Wonderful Week and I will see you next week

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #244 "ANYTHING GOES"

Good Morning on this last Sunday of this year. I can not believe that we will be starting 2015 this week. I have been wondering where this year has gone to. Did everyone have a great Christmas? Mine was good. Going to my son's house for dinner was different. The evening went great. All the kids faces were so adorable when they were opening presents. They didn't eat to much either with all the the toys that they had to play with. I tried to help with dinner and dishes but my son wouldn't let me. So I came home at the end of the evening and had nothing to do but sit and relax watching the lights on the tree. Wonderful!!!

Well, we have a great sponsor this week. She is Stamp Art Design By Kathryne. Many designs for you to choose from if you win the challenge this week. The image that I used was Hollybelle. The image is an angel bear with some mistletoe and bells on her.I started on her last weekend with a great idea and started working in it. I had the image colored and the background for the bear cutout. Looking for a poem that I wanted to put on the page was hard to find. So I had to change my idea. That didn't work either then there was Christmas Eve and Christmas. So I finally made a card with some of the things I wanted to do on the layout. I want to show you my card but let me tell you about this great prize.

5 Digital Stamps

Stamp Art Design By Kathryne

Now let me show you what I ended up with. I think it turned out good after all my ideas.

I just love this image. I will be figuring out the layout I had started to sketch but it might take me awhile. I'm sure you want to enter the challenge this week so you have a chance to win this little cutie. Here are the items that I ended up using.

Paper -- The Paper Studio
Merry Christmas Sentiment --  The Paper Studio (Stick-A-Bilities)

I hope you see you enter our challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog this week. 5 Digital Stamps would be great to win. I will see you in the next year and I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve and Day. Mine will be a relaxing one I hope spending my night with my children.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #241 "CHRISTMAS CARDS"

Welcome to the first weekend of December. This really makes it feel like it's Christmas and the thought of not having your shopping done starts to worry you. Well my husband and I decided to get started on some shopping done yesterday. We really did get some of the shopping done but by time we returned home I could not move. All the gifts are still in the trunk except the ones we were afraid might burst with the cold outside. I did find something really cute that I don't think I have ever seen before. Pink Christmas wrapping paper. The store had a little bit of a variety but this color will be cute on my grand daughters gifts. Not a real gift but it put a smile on my face. I won't bore you with all the things but I think I will do more through the week by myself with less confusion.

Well, we are lucky again this week. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps & More is sponsoring us for our Christmas cards this week. We get to use one of her great images to use for our cards. So, the image that I chose was Christmas trees. There are two trees side by side with snow on them. I thought the trees was something different that I don't think I have done. This is the great prize that she will be giving that winner this week.

3 Digital Images
From

So here is my card that I made.

I do hope that you like the way I made my card. I was trying to go with a the focus on the trees but also wanted to add a traditional look. I wanted to make a tree farm but couldn't sketch it out where it looked good. To much on my mind this week I think. This is the items that I did use to make this Christmas tree card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- From My Stash & Caroline Wilson Fine Arts
Buttons, Angel, Presents, Gingerbread Man -- Dress It Up
Glitter -- Ice Stickles by Ranger (Crystal Ice)
Colored Markers

Well I'm going to go and relax a little before starting laundry. I'm still wore out from yesterday. I know you will want to add your Christmas card so just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and add it there. Also, we have a great design team so check out their cards also. Enjoy your week and I'm going to try and get more shopping done.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #238 "THINGS WITH WINGS"

Hello on this early Sunday morning. Have you seen any snow yet where you live. We have been having flurries but tonight we are suppose to get 2 - 4 inches tonight into tomorrow. I love the snow and this is my favorite season but I'm not ready for snow days from the schools. I am grateful that it's going to hit this evening. My grandson's birthday party starts at noon. It's hard to believe that he is five already. Next year he will be in kindergarten. I still remember the day that his father was starting his kindergarten year. The bus didn't pick him up the first day and he was upset. It's funny how I remember these things but my kids don't. They think I'm telling them stories all the time.

Although it's close to the winter season my card is a summertime card. I think it turned out good if I say so myself. Delicious Doodles is our sponsor this week. If you visit their site they have a new beautiful Poppy Wreath that is new on their site. I was so grateful that they let me use the image "Daisies and Butterflies." When I picked this I new exactly what paper that I wanted to use. This image is really pretty and I enjoyed making it look like my own. Delicious Doodles is also giving away this following prize.

4 Digital Doodles

Let me show you how the paper and the image look together. I hope you think that everything looks good together.

I tried to make my daisies look like the ones on the paper. They look a little darker when it's in front of you. These embellishments were perfect for this card also. I do like when everything comes together. Here are the items that I used to make this "Daisies and Butterflies" card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #236 "THANKSGIVING"

Good Morning!! Hope everyone's Sunday is getting off to a good start. Did everyone ( who has to ) remember to turn your clocks back? I did but my husband takes care of changing them all. The first week of a time change for me is miserable. It throws off my schedule really bad. I don't know why it does but it certainly does. I really am not looking forward to it getting dark so early at night. I'm not a good night driver so I don't go to many places that I do in the summer. Well hope you all enjoy it.

We have our great Robyn that is sponsoring us this week with our Thanksgiving cards. I some times think Thanksgiving is a forgotten holiday. First you have Halloween and then boom, Christmas takes over. Robyn let us use an image from her Thanksgiving images. I chose "Pilgrim Gal." She is a cute little gal just standing there looking like she can't remember what's next to do. How do you keep up on this holiday? Robyn will be giving the winner of this challenge

3 Digital Images
From

Let me show you the card that I made with "Pilgrim Gal."

I know that I don't ave food on here but thought the sentiment was great for Thanksgiving. I love this paper that I found and wanted to use an orange that matched the paper. I did add the sunflowers to make it look more like a fall card. I don't know why but I can't seem to get the sentiment to come out not being blurry. I'm still working on it to see what I'm doing wrong. This may be the time to get out my photography book and do some reading. Here are the items I used to make this card.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart & The Paper Studio

Well I finished another post and it's on the first weekend of November. October was not here very long. Let's see how fast this month goes. I hope you enjoyed my card and make sure you take a look at the other design teams cards here at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. There are great cards for Thanksgiving. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a Wonderful Week

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE 235 "STITCHING REAL OR FAUX"

Good Morning on this beautiful Sunday morning. It's cold out but the sun is great. Well I said last week that I had my grand children for the weekend. Great seeing them but I caught my grand daughters flu bug. I have been sick all week and this flu comes with one terrific headache. I'm still feeling ill today and have no idea how to feel better. I still have their two totes in the corner of the living room with toys on the floor all around them. You would think I was the one that has kids. Their might be more when my grandson has his birthday party soon. both sides of the family spoil him. He is the first grandchild on both sides. Double trouble in the spoiling part I guess.

Stitching "Real or Faux" is the theme this week. This is a great challenge to have. I did my stitching faux. I have had some troubles stitching with a real needle and thread. I need to work on it more. A Day For Daisies is our sponsors this week. They also have a blog and newsletter that you can sign up for to follow them. wouldn't be great to get e-mails about things that are going on with them since they have the greatest stamps to work with. The image they let me use is called "Cupid Dreams." This little girl looks so peaceful laying on her cloud. I have had this angel paper for a long time and decided to use it on one side of it. It's beautiful paper and I made sure I had many pieces of it. A Day for Daisies is giving the below for this weeks winner.

$12.00 Gift Card
To
The Day For Daisies Store

Great prize for this week if I say so myself. Since the cupid was on a cloud I decided to make a couple more clouds to go with it. I also added more cupids also to kind of make it a peaceful setting with more then one cupid. I do hope you like it. I would like to Thank A Say For Daisies for letting me use this great image. Here is the card of the image "Cupid Dreams."

Do you see how peaceful she looks. I wanted the image to look like she was up in the sky but have a patterned paper to go with it. I think it helped with the background look. You can see the faux stitching on all the clouds. I made it a different color so you could see it right as you look at the card. This is the list of items that I used to make this card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #232 "AUTUMN COLORS"

Hello to everyone reading this post today!! Fall is definitely here in Ohio. It has started getting really chilly here for the last couple of days. I do love the colors of the trees though. One good thing that happened this week was my son and my grandchildren spent the weekend here. We had a really good time. I haven't had all my kids and grand kids in the house all at one time. This is a weekend that I will always remember. Seeing all my kids messing with each other and laughing is priceless. Them making fun at me because I say the wrong word was something new. They even posted what I said on their facebook pages and laughed every time someone liked the comment. It was all in fun though.

Our sweet Robyn is our sponsor for this week. She was generous with us and let us pick out the image that we wanted to work with. The image I chose is called "Jennie The Scarecrow." This was a great image to make a card with autumn colors. I did like all the detail that it had in it. Of course I made my sketch but the card did not look anything that I drew. I have a really bad habit of it. So before I show you my scarecrow, that's see what Robyn will be giving to the lucky winner.

Just think you can win this lucky image that I used. Let me show you the card so you can see the image that I used with my card.

Isn't she he cutest thing. I found the paper in my stash and thought it had the perfect autumn colors on it. Then I tried to get the same colors with the flowers and the little pieces of paper behind the image. I tried to brighten the picture a little but it really made it bright. To bright to look at. So here are all the items that I used to make this card.

Well I hope you enjoyed the post this week. I really enjoyed making this so I really hope you liked it. Just leave a comment and let me know. Well this next week is fair week. So, that means no school for the kids. Everyone is showing their animals. Something great for our farming community. You all have a wonderful week and I will see you next week for another great card challenge.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #231 "ORIENTAL"

Good Morning! Welcome to the last weekend of September. Everyone is already posting how many days until Christmas on their personal blogs. Seeing those numbers really makes it more depressing for me. I usually have started on my shopping by now but I have not one thing. As the children grow up the prices of the things go up. It's hard to get what they want. So seeing those count downs are not helping me have a Christmas spirit.

Nicecrane Designs is our sponsor for this week's challenge. There images are beautiful and they have everything you can think of under the son. They were kind enough to let us use a set called "Pictures of Japan." Each of the design team picked one of the four images that was with this set. I picked the second image to use for my card. This set was perfect for our Oriental theme this week. Oriental, I have to say, is one theme that I am the worst at. I don't know why but I have had troubles with that theme. So before I tell you more about my card and show you it, I want to tell you what Nicecrane Designs is giving out for the prize this week.

My idea for the card was for the lady to be walking on a bridge with water underneath with fish in the water. Then I wanted to add some flowers. I can honestly tell you my card has nothing of that on there. It turned out horrible. So, I used the image and popped it off the card with two fans. I hope you enjoy what I ended up making.

I do hope that you liked how it turned out. There is one thing that is actually from Japan. The gold flowers with the flourishes. I was in a group where you swap scrapbooking items with other women. I was lucky to  have someone from Japan and she sent me items that I had never seen before. I've used most of them already. Let me tell you the rest of the items that I used to make this card.

All the cards that the design team made are on Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and you can add your entry also. So, have a wonderful week and I will see you next week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #230 "USE A DIE CUT OR PUNCH"

Good Morning to everyone. Sorry I was not here last week but my embossing machine was broke and I hadn't been able to get a new one yet. I feel like I'm my daughter's personal ATM machine. Everything hit me in two weeks and after it was all done I spent about $300 for everything. I'm not done either. I have her school fees coming up next month. I had to take all the money I had saved up for my machine to give to her. High school is more expensive then I would have ever thought. Last night was her very first homecoming. The dress code changed since I was in school. They actually were formal wear to these dances. I'm glad her dress was on sale because she needed shoes also. The girls went as a group and they were absolutely beautiful.

I could go on and on but we have a challenge that we need to get to. As you can see you are to use a punch or die cut. I used a punch on mine and I think it turned out great. We have a great sponsor this week and they are Lacy Sunshine. I have used their images before and I was excited to used another one. The one I used this time is called Eleanor & Pickles "Decking The Halls." She is a cute little girl holding a Christmas wreath with Pickles the frog sitting on the wreath. So adorable. Before I show you my card let me tell you what that winner will win this week.

Now I want to tell you a little bit about my card before I show you. The card is a 6 inch circle made like a wreath with my image in the middle. I put light bulbs around the punched wreath. Here is the card and I hope you enjoy it.

Is this not the most adorable image. I didn't want to put the girl in Christmas colors. I wanted her to have a lighter color to offset the original Christmas colors. I love the way it turned out but I did make it a little big. Here is the items that I used to make this card.

Paper -- DCWV
Circle Punch -- Martha Stewart (Triple Loop Edge Punch)
Christmas Lights -- A Tree For Me

I do hope you enjoyed this post and my card. Don't be afraid to leave me a comment to let me know what you think about the card. Of course, go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog and look at the other cards that our design team made and then add your card for us all to see. Hope you have a wonderful week and I will see you next Sunday.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #226 "CARDS FOR MEN"

Hello!! Hope you are having a good day so far. I'm finally starting things off on a good step. I didn't have to wake up at 5 in the morning and I have no soccer today. This has been the most busiest week that I have had in years. My daughter started school Tuesday and it's her first year in high school. I cried all the way home after I dropped her off. Things go so fast from here and I just want to hold onto her more. I was shocked when she came home and said she hated it. She wants to go back to the eight grade. Things are so much different and she is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting. I give her another week or so and she will be in the hang of things. She is so wore out when I pick her up from soccer practice or a game. she is in bed before me now. She has a lot on her plate for the next month in a half. I could write a book but I want to enjoy my day off.

Making cards for men are hard for me. I don't know why but it had been. So when I seen this challenge I was saying oh - no. I did get a great image though from Oak Pond Creations who is our sponsor this week. My image is named "Grumpy Fish." Every man loves to fish so I thought this would be a cute image. Oak Pond Creations had a great variety to choose from for the men. Take a little time and jump over to her store for a quick look. You may see something you like when you are there and want to be in this challenge. Oak Pond Creations will be giving the challenge winner

Here is what I did with "Grumpy Fish." I hope you enjoy it.

He is a grumpy fish. I had this fish paper left over for another project and decided I wanted to use it but not to much that it takes the focus away from the fish. The darker paper is suppose to look like the deeper part of the ocean and the light blue is the water towards to the top of the ocean. I wanted to tell you so you see why I was using the papers that I selected. Here is where everything came from.

Paper -- K & Company & DCWV
Font -- Chiller (Cute Font For The Ocean)

Not many items but what I did use I think made a great card. Putting Dad on the card made it even look more like a card for a man. So I hope this gave you a little inspiration for making a card for a man. Now, I'm going to enjoy the rest of today and I hope you do as well. Remember to go to The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to enter your project and look at the other cards that the design team made to give you more inspiration and see the great cards that you. Have a Wonderful Week and I will be here next Sunday for another great challenge.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #225 "CARDS WITH BUGS OR INSECTS ON THEM"

Good Morning!! Hope everyone is having a good start to their day. I am burnt from staying out in the sun at my daughter's soccer game. I was also stung by a bee which I'm allergic to. It didn't do to much because it was a little sweat bee. Just a lot of swelling and itching. This was the first official game of the season. Her team won 6 - 0. What a great way to start off the season. They have a really good team this year. She has two games a week for the next month and a half. The other three days of the week are practice days. I am totally running everyday and this includes all the other little things that I have to run into town for. I will look back and think that all that running was worth more then I thought.

This challenge is one that you rarely see and I had fun with it. IMAGINE THAT!...digi's by Kris. She has digital stamp sets and digital paper. Her sets are great. What ever the set is about she puts her own sayings on their for you to use. That was a great idea for the set that I used. The set that I used was the Promo Lady Bugs. I have done many ladybug cards and just wanted to add more to the collection that I do have. IMAGINE THAT!...digi's by Kris is giving the following to this week's challenge winner.

These sets have many images and sayings on them. So, this is one prize that you really don't want to miss on. Now that you know that, here is the card with my ladybug with a piece of watermelon.

I hope you like the summer look in the paper that goes with the watermelon. I did color the watermelon with pink and the ladybug with red but when I took the picture I could not get them to look the way the colors really look like. Here are the items that I used to make this card.
