ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #258 "PASTEL COLORS"

Happy Easter!! I hope your holiday weekend has been going good and hope you get to spend today with family and friends. Most of our family is sick with some kind of virus so everyone stayed home. My kids treated it like it was just another day and spent time with their friends. My husband was the one that was sick in our family. I know I will have it before this is all done.

Since we could use one of Robyn's images for this Pastel Colors challenge I used the one called "Roses With All Our Prayers." I new I wanted the roses to be pastel in color and some flowered paper to go with it. I used a light colored purple cardstock to use with the saying and the images. Then I added an angel since it seemed like it was a sympathy card. So here is the prize Robyn is giving to the one lucky winner.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE#251 "SQUARE CARDS"

Hello Again!! It's very strange having two posts so close together. I do find it fun to show what I am working on. I hope everyone out there had a great Valentine's Day. I was able to do some crafting, looking at some blogs,read a little facebook and  then watched NASCAR. It was a rather a very relaxing day. I'm also really excited that the races will be on again. These races are great to watch on a Sunday when there is nothing else on.

I'm sure you would like to get to know about this week's challenge. We have Oak Pond Creations sponsoring the square cards challenge. This is always one of the challenges that I love working with. I'm so excited to show you my Benedict Bullfrog. My little bullfrog has some friends in the pond and they are a little happy. Here is my card

I hope you think those frogs are as cute as I do. I really had fun making this one. The gems are called petals. So I used them to kind of look like lily pads. I guess you just have to use your own imagination. Here are the items I used to make Benedict Bullfrog.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #245 "SNOWMEN"

Welcome to the fourth day of January 2015. How many of you keep putting 2014 when your writing the date? I probably would if I didn't have my planner beside me everyday. This year is starting off right where I left off. Nothing ever changes for me in a new year. I didn't even make a New Year's resolution. As a matter of fact, I was in bed by 10:00 pm. Some people just have to say something to you to put you in a bad mood when you just want to have a nice evening. This is actually the first year that I wasn't up at midnight. I don't feel like I missed anything though. 

Now on to our first challenge of the New Year and Robyn's Fetish Shop is going to be our first sponsor of the year. Is this not great. We all know that she has the best images to work with. This week I worked with "Carl The Snowman." There were many cute snowmen to choose from but he is the one I chose. He is all dressed up for a day outside. Probably made by cute little kids. So, before you see Carl, I'm going to tell you about what Robyn is giving away this week for the winner.

I tried to make the picture not glare with the glitter but it kind of did. This paper was perfect for my image. I have been wanting to use it for a long time and I finally did. I just wish I had more of it. I tried to use some embellishments to match the snowman. I also tried to make a some what snowflake behind the snowman. Not the greatest but I just couldn't get it to work out the way I wanted it. I hope you like it. Here are the products that I used to make this card.
