ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 191 "USE SILVER OR GOLD"

Good Morning!! Hope everyone is doing well this Sunday morning. I would like to apologize to everyone including my design team sisters for not having my post on here last week. I did have the card done and it was posted on Robyn's challenge blog. I ended up getting really sick and was in bed for three days. Still not feeling the greatest but good enough to work on things that I need to get caught up on. I don't even have any gifts wrapped for Christmas yet and my kids and grand kids are coming up on Christmas Eve. My grand kids will be with their mom on Christmas day. It's hard to come from broken families. It's very hard to get things planned that everyone can come and be together. Sometimes it does not work. Well I will let you know next week how things turned out.

Well, I want to get to the challenge for this week. We are making cards that have gold or silver on it. You really need to make sure that you see the gold or silver for your card to qualify. Just want you to know. Our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter. I really loved the image that I was allowed to use for this challenge. She is called "Snow Angel." She's a cute little girl that is laying in the snow making her own snow angel. Since we had to use one of the colors I used silver for the snow on the ground. Before you see my card I want you to see what The Paper Shelter is giving to the lucky winner this week.

Now here is my card with the image of "Snow Angel."

I hope that you can see the silver on the card. The paper has silver swirls and stuff and I hope I have enough glitter on the ground of her snow angel. I wanted to put the snowflakes on there to make it look like it's still snowing out. Here are the items I used.

Silver & Tan Paper -- The Paper Studio

Snowflakes -- Dress It Up

Now I'm at the end of my post. I'm glad that I'm getting back on track and letting you know about our challenges again. The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is the place to enter your cards. You will see the challenge with all the Design Teams cards that they made. Take a look. Our team is very talented. Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a good week and Happy Christmas.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #189 "MUST HAVE A BOW"

Hello from snowy Ohio. Not as much snow as I would have liked but it's still snow on the ground and on the trees. We are suppose to get another two inches tonight but I will wait to see. I had my grand daughter yesterday and see was looking at the snow like she has never seen it before. She is only one and a half so maybe she hasn't seen much of the white stuff. I couldn't get her away from the door. Finally, I had to just pick her up to stop letting the cold in. He wasn't the happiest but I opened a blind and let her sit in a chair so she could see it and the dog having fun with the snow also. I have a Siberian Husky that loves this stuff so it is entertaining for the kids to watch her. My other dog wants nothing to do with snow, cold or her paws getting wet. She wears her sweaters every winter and still wants to sleep under a blanket. Never seen a dog like this one.

This week were allowed to make a card or anything else. I chose to make a layout this week with a couple of Christmas pictures from the past. Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner is our sponsor for this weeks challenge which is your project must have a bow on it. So, I made the pictures into presents with a bow on the top of them. I love when a project just works out for itself. This was a lot of fun to do and I realized that I need to get back into doing my layouts for my family album. This layout is in there already. Dragonsmoore was great with the image that they let me use. It's called Christmas Pressy Bear. He is a cute little bear that is delivering mail and also holding a small Christmas tree. Since the bear is delivering mail I made the title of my layout "Special Delivery." I really thought it all came together when I was finished. I want to Thank Dragonsmoore for the great image they let me use. Now let me tell you what they will be giving to the lucky winner this week.

Now I would like to show you the scrapbooking layout that I have made.

The image is in the corner and I added extra mail on the ground and some presents that the bear should be delivering. The frames with the red bows have a pattern on the paper that you may not see but I wanted you to know. Here are the great products that I used to make this "Special Delivery."

I hoped that you liked the layout. Of course, I love it because it has pictures of my family. I put the journal on the back so it didn't take up to much of the layout. I hope that you will try this challenge out. Make your project and just go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to enter it. The projects from last weeks challenge was amazing. So many ideas out there. You can take one thing and not one card will be the same. I think that is great. Well I hope to see you next Sunday for another one of Robyn's Challenges. Enjoy the rest of your day and have a Great Week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 188 "CHRISTMAS CARDS"

Welcome to the first challenge of December. Since it is the first we are making Christmas Cards. I love making Christmas Cards. This is a great time of the year for family, friends, and the gift of giving. I love seeing the kids open gifts and the expressions they make. I also hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and any other holiday that you celebrate. Our family has grown apart so much in the past years that we just have a little dinner with our kids and grand kids. Some years even that doesn't happen. Even though that I don't celebrate, I'm thankful everyday for something that has happened. I don't need one day of the year to do this.

Like you have seen twice before now we are doing Christmas Cards. Robyn is sponsoring the challenge this week. She let us choose anything in the category of Christmas to use. I picked out "Jolly Ole Santa." I thought this was a great image to use for this challenge. I have to Thank Robyn for letting me use this image. I had many ideas to do with it but with the holiday in the middle of the week, I was a little behind. I decided to stay with making a simpler card then my traditional ones. Even though it was a little easier to make, it still turned out very cute. If you would like to see more of her great images just click on this link Robyn's Fetish Store. Now let me tell you what she is giving to the lucky winner this week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #187 "VINTAGE STYLE"

Good Sunday morning. Glad to see you here again. We have another great challenge this week. One I'm sure you will love. I know I did. Let me give you a little summery of my week. I am praying for all those that lost their homes in the huge tornado storm this week. Their was so many power outages in Illinois but also Indiana, Michigan and the tip of Ohio. If I missed a state I'm sorry. I knew there were a lot in Michigan because that is where he was sent for storm manage. He's a lineman. He puts up the wires and works on the transformers. He sent pictures to me everyday. Some I thought he was trying to give me a heart attack. Where he was, there were 300,000 homes without power. His crew worked for 15 hours a day and there many more out there. He just came home yesterday and was so exhausted that he went right to sleep. Let's say he went to sleep after he seen his daughter. He really misses the kids when he's gone like that. This trip was shorter then the one he took last year to New York. I'm just glad that he's home and safe. I'm proud of the work he does. They put a lot of lines and transformers up to get people their electricity. I'm sure their are still people out their without power but believe me, they are doing it as fast as they can. I have learned a lot since my son started this job. Well I'm done with my summary and now on to the challenge for this week.

As you seen in our title we are working on "Vintage Style." Something new that I don't think we have done. So, I'm excited to see your projects. Our sponsor this week is Create With TLC. I will tell you that their images are great and I have seen many that I'm going to purchase. They will make great layouts and cards. Create With TLC allowed me to work with one image from a set of different styles. Mine is from the set Spring Time in Fashion. This is a lady that I tried to color in vintage colors. Yes, I cheated a little, I had a book of vintage articles. It did help me though. Let me tell you what you are working for this week. Great prize!!

Now let me show you my Lady with her Spring Fashion.

I hope that you think that this card looks vintage to you. You may not see them but there are cupids in the corners of the picture. They were a little hard to color but I think they turned out cute. Let me show you the products that I used to make this vintage style card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #186 "USE METAL, REAL OR FOAX"

Good Morning to Everyone. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful Sunday morning or afternoon. We have a real great challenge this week. I hope that you will like it and participate. Here's my little paragraph about my week because it was a very weird one. The only easy thing that happen was making my card. One day I couldn't get any e-mails and thought that maybe the mail was down but my husbands e-mail worked. We waited the whole day and my husband finally called our provider to find out what had happened to my e-mail account. They shut it down and was going to call and let us know but who knows when. We waited all day for it to work and no phone call. Well, we found out that some how my e-mail was corrupted. Not to sure what that all means but they had to find the problem. After an hour, they had solved the problem but there was also more bad news. I lost every e-mail that came in that day and some of my websites that I get e-mails from I had to re register to get all them to come back. It's been a big problem. Then a couple of days later someone hacked into our cell phones. My husband and the provider of them had to clear everyone of our phones and send all the information to the fraud unit. Later we found out that some lovely person called Cuba on my phone and talked for over an hour. I hope they enjoyed their conversation. We don't have to pay for any of it but it still is a hassle. I wonder sometimes if technology is worth the trouble. OK, done for this week's chat about me. Let's get to the good stuff.

Our challenge is one that I don't think we have ever done before but is fun. Using metal on your card. There is so much out there that is or looks like metal. We have one of our great sponsors that is giving away a good prize for this week's winner. Fred, She Said is that wonderful sponsor. They let us use one of their images to make our card this week. The image that I picked out was "Pumpkin Bouquet." I loved the flowers that are sitting inside the pumpkin. I tried to color the flowers with fall colors. You can use this card as a Thanksgiving card or for someones fall birthday. Fred, She Said is giving away a great prize to the winner this week. Here is what you are playing for.

Now let me show you the card I made with the "Pumpkin Bouquet."

I hope you like the card. I love how the picture turned out. You can see everything on the card. The feathers on the flowers, ribbon around the frame, and the metal buttons that I cut the backs off of them. Let me tell you which products I used to make this.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 185 "MUST USE RUST, BLUE, CREAM (IVORY)"

Good Morning!! Wow, it's another Sunday again. Another week that has flown by again and another week that I feel that I have nothing accomplished. Of course, my sinuses have been acting up again as always. I have never had so many problems with my sinuses as I'm having this year. The flu is going around real bad around here. I suspect that next week I will probably have that flu. I catch everything that my kids come home with. Also, my son brought his daughter up here and she has pneumonia. I don't really think they know that I have low immune system. I tell them but I don't think it computes in their system. I wish I could be that young girl that was never sick. Well enough of talking about illness or I might end up with something right now.

This week we have another great sponsor. The sponsor is A Day For Daisies. They have sponsored many of our challenges here at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. They have great images they we have had the pleasure to use for our cards. The image this week that I worked with is "Fairy Kitty." This is an adorable cat that I could not pass up. My grandmother loved cats and I also used the cat to remind me of her. Here is the prize that A Day For Daisies is giving to this weeks lucky winner.

Now let me show you my card using the Fairy Kitty image.

I will be watching Nascar racing. It's close to the end of the chase. I'm wanting Jimmy Johnson to win it all. Fingers Crossed.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 184 "THANKSGIVING"

Welcome to another Sunday challenge and a new month already. I can not believe that we are in November already. This year has went by really fast. I wish one year wouldn't feel like it's flying by so fast. For the end of October, I could not believe that we were under Tornado Warnings. They set the alarms off at 1:00 am. Talk about waking up to something weird. There were four tornado's that touched down about an hour from us. The winds were so terrible that you didn't know if anything was going to happen or not. I do feel bad for the people that did get hit from them. There were trailers that were totally knocked off there platforms. The only thing that did happen here was some shingles came off our garage. That is something that we can fix though. I thought all this dangerous weather was gone until Spring. Now all we have to worry about is blizzards that may hit. I love the snow so I won't mind just one. By the way, my daughter did not make the basketball team. They did give her pointers to try out for next years season. Her two friends didn't make it either. I was sad for all of them. Such long faces they had.

Robyn is our great sponsor this week for our "Thanksgiving" challenge.( My family is already talking about Thanksgiving and what we are doing and cooking.) The design team was allowed to pick from the Thanksgiving images that Robyn has in her store. I found this one that was a little of what you would see on the outside of the house at Thanksgiving. Pumpkins and a Scarecrow that are getting ready for the holiday to end. You can go to Robyn's Fetish's Shop and see all her images for Thanksgiving and also the ones for Christmas that is coming up. This is the prize that Robyn will be giving the winner this week.

Now let me show you my card and see what I did with her image called Scarecrow and Pumpkins. I named the card Happy Harvest.

I really hope that you find this cute. I liked the way it turned out. When I was thinking of what I was going to do I knew that scarecrows are made with burlap sometimes. So, I want to use it on my card somehow. This is what I did come up with. My daughter gave it an A so I'm good LOL. Here are the items that I used to make this card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 183 "HALLOWEEN"

Welcome to another Sunday challenge for The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. I can actually say that this week didn't go to fast as usual. My daughter is done with soccer and she decided not to be in the All State Choir. Although, next week are basketball tryouts. She hasn't played basketball for school but loves playing at home and in gym. She decided to tryout with two of her friends. She said she doesn't know if she will make it. I told her she wouldn't know if she doesn't try. She is so sweet because she is worried that she is spending to much of our money to do the things she wants to. I told her money wasn't an issue. If you want to do something go do it. This is better then hooking up with the wrong crowd. I just find it funny that I had two boys that never played sports in school but my daughter has always been in something. By the way, she scored two goals and 3 assists in this seasons soccer and an award for positive attitude. This was by far her best season. Next year will be the true test when she starts high school and the coaches and games are a lot different. I have already prepared her.

Now lets get to this Halloween challenge. This is my second favorite holiday if that is what you call it. I like the cute side of it. Not all the freaky stuff that scare kids. Whoopsie Daisy has cute images for Halloween. I love the one that they allowed me to work with. It is from a sheet of four Halloween Girls. I picked one with the girl holding her pail for the candy. She is adorable. Whoopsie Daisy has done it again with their images. Let me tell you what you will win this week from Whoopsie Daisy.

3 Whole Sheets

You will have to go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to see how you collect your images. If you forgot something about out challenges the rules are there also.

I found some cute Halloween paper at Archiver's. This is a great scrapbooking store but an hour and a half away from where I live. I can honestly say it was worth the trip. I hope you have one near you. Great Store

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #182 "FALL"

Welcome to a very cold day in Ohio!! This is our very first cold Sunday of the year. The first taste of fall. I even had to turn my furnace on for the first time this year. I did have a very interesting week though. My son woke up on Tuesday morning with real bad pains in his side of his stomach. So I take him to the ER and they immediately put him into a room which never happens when you go to our ER. The doctor come right in and says they think it's appendix but there is also a bad stomach flu going around or he may have some infection. They did blood work first and in about fifteen minutes they came back with his results and a surgeon. He had to have his appendix taken out. They said they would get him in in about two to three hours. Next thing I know they came in and took him straight to the operating room. They did a laparoscopic surgery and he was out of the operating room in about an hour. He went to recovery and then to another recovery room where we could finally see him. We left at six in the morning and was home by two in the afternoon. Talk about quick. I had to stay with him for 24 hours and I thought my 21 year old son turn 10. He still hurts today and they put him off work until November 1st since he is in construction and they want to make sure he healed before he goes back. I was really shocked that I finished my project this week. Two late nights helped me finish.

Fall. What a great them to have at this time of year. Melonheadz Illustrations is our sponsor this week for our Fall challenge. We were lucky and was given a set to work with this week. The set is called Fall and there are 11 images that came with this set. We were suppose to use as many images from this set as possible. I ended up using five of the images to make a Scrapbooking Layout this week. We are able to choose from a card or any other project. As I already said, I made a layout for this project. I used pictures of my grandson also on this layout. The pictures were to cute not to use. Before I show you the layout, let me tell you what Melonheadz Illustrations is giving to the winner this week.

I hope you like it. See how the pictures fit right in. Last year the neighbors raked all their leaves in a pile on the road and my grandson just had to go over and see the  pile. He got there and just jumped in. It was so cute. Oh, I made the hay bails that the pumpkins are sitting on. Took a little bit of time but was well worth it. ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 181 "SQUARE CARDS ONLY"

Hello Everyone!! Welcome to another Sunday Challenge. We all know that this week went fast. My daughter had the whole week off for our county fair. Our area has a lot of farmland so their are a lot of kids in our FFA. So, since so many will be missing school they just give the students the whole week off. Although I can say she was hardly home. On top of her soccer she spent so many days with her friends at the fair, mall and even a Halloween Party. I think she spent at least almost a whole day home this week. She was feeling bad that she wasn't here but I told her that this is the life of a teenage girl. I just forgot what it was like to be that young and running around the whole time. Now I know why my parents always said I was never home. I'm still adjusting. Being home alone has been fun and tough at the same time. I miss my little girl who always wanted to be with me.

Now to the real reason we are all here. The Sunday Challenge which the theme is "Square Cards Only." Our sponsor this week is Paper Pretties. Just by their name you should know they have great images. My image that I used this week is called Butterfly and Blossoms. When I seen the blossoms I knew that I wanted to work with this image. I wanted to make it a little bright and with many colors. I also loved the butterfly just sitting on top of the blossoms. Well let's see what Paper Pretties is giving to the winner this week.

Now I would like to show you the card that I made with this image. I named my card Blossoms

I tried to brighten the card up with the program that I usually use. I wanted the vibrant colors to come out off the page. I have so many colors of flowers but when I get to a card that I would love to use them I never can find the colors. So, I did use what I had but would like to have had a couple of big white flowers to add. Here is the items that I did use to make this

I know that I didn't use a lot to make it but I think it turned out pretty. This is the end to my post this week. Just remember to go to Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to enter your square cards this week. Have a Wonderful Week!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 180 "USE A DIGI"

Unbelievable!! It is Sunday already. This week went by like a blink of an eye. I have even been home alone a lot this week and it still went fast. I even had this weekend to my self because everyone had things they wanted to do. My daughter is learning to spend nights and days away from home. My husband is helping my dad tear the outside of his house and putting up new board, some kind of weathering stuff, all the shingles and the siding. They work on it on weekends so it has been taking along time. I grew up in this house where is was stucco on the outside so I have a piece of it in a jar just for memories. My other son is off as usual. He's 21 and is never home except to eat, take a shower and eat. I guess my life isn't as exciting as everyone else's. I did have fun Saturday. I watched horror movies all day. No one else likes them so I had a whole day to watch. There's a lot since Halloween is coming up. Enough with my little bio and get to this week's challenge.

Use a Digi. This is a  great challenge to enter. You can use and digital image that you like and make your project and add it to our challenge. Our special sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish. She has her great images and is always adding something new in the shop. She has so many categories for you to choose from. I used the digi called A Bell For Christmas. Since we could use any image I thought I would use this one to add to this years Christmas cards that I'm making. I changed the images name around a little bit and called my card Ring That Christmas Bell. Before I get to off subject, let me tell you what Robyn is giving away to the winner of this week's challenge.

I will be using it more on my Christmas cards. I really hope that you like it. I think it turned out really pretty. Now let me tell you what the items were that I made this card with.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 179 THEME IS NATURE

Happy Sunday!! It's nice and quiet here. My kids had their own plans this weekend and I didn't. My major reason is I had some kind of flu again. My immune system isn't that good so when anyone comes home with something I catch it and it's twice as bad for me. Allergies on top of it all isn't quite helping things either. Our weather here is so up and down you never know what the temperature will be that day. I can say that I was able to watch movies that I liked where as no one else would want to watch them with me. It's still boring being alone. I think I'm having a taste of what it will be like when all the kids are out on their own. I don't know if I'm going to like it or not. You have no one to share things with when you want to and your seem crazy when your talking to the TV all by yourself. Let's get to the challenge at hand.

The theme of the challenge is "Nature." This is a great time to be out in the parks and seeing the leaves fall with all the different colors. My favorite season right after winter. We have a great sponsor for this week. They have sponsored our challenges before and have wonderful images. They are Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner. I'm sure you remember their great images. If not I would take a peek again. For this challenge I was allowed to use the digi Teddy Flower. How much more nature can you get then a bear and flowers. So, before I show you my card I would like to tell you what the prize is for this challenge's lucky winner.

Well her is the card that I named Be Happy with the digital image Teddy & The Flower.

The green paper looks like flowers with different shades of green. The blue paper in the middle of the green's is a blue paper that has white flowers on it. I do know that it's hard to see it but I promise you it's there. I think my favorite  part is the flower that I colored. I actually have more of them colored for a scrapbook layout. Here is the items that I used to make this card about nature.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #178 (BACK TO SCHOOL)

Wow!! I can't believe it's Sunday already. My daughter is now playing in the soccer tournaments. These will last a couple of weeks and then she will be done with soccer. I may actually miss it. But, she had tried out for a play and all county choir. She won't know for a little while if she made either one of these. She did say the cutest thing the other day. She asked me if she was doing to many activities in school because she feels bad that her dad and I are always taking her to something she's participating in. Of course I told her no. I would rather have her doing all this stuff then getting in trouble. She is even passing her two high school classes that she was allowed to take this year. They are high B's. This is only in the middle of the quarter but I'm so happy. She will start high school with 2 credits. I just hope she stays on this path. Proud Momma here!!!!

I'm going to start by telling you who the sponsor is this week. They are KPM Doodles. They have the cutest digi stamps, digital paper and they have their own blog. If you get a chance, I would go and take a look at their digi's. I was given the opportunity to use one of their digi's  sets called Bears At School Digi Set. There are different bears with this set and we could use as many as we could. I used the bear that was reading a book and the tree with the bee hive hanging from it. I decided to a thing about reading. I thought that was a good one since we need kids to read more these days. So, here is the prize that KPM Doodles is offering to this week's winner.

2 Sets

Winner's Choice
From The
KPM Doodles Store

Here is the card that I made with this set that I called Reading Is Fun.

The Bears do look like they love reading. This was fun making after I came up with the idea. Let me tell you the items that I used to make this.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 177 (PEOPLE AT THEIR JOBS)

Good Morning to everyone that is reading this blog. I know you may have heard this before but I have to apologize for not being here last week. I was way overwhelmed with life and just need to get things in check. Still working on it but I am able to create again. The only hard part was this was still happening during my daughter's birthday. She is now 14 and counting already to the day she can get her temps to drive. She also thinks that she gets my car when she does get her license. But if things go like today, she won't be driving anywhere. I have to say that she was injured at the soccer game today. They had to carry her off the field. There was a three girl pile up and she ended up getting the worse of it. She is very lucky. She only has a big bruise behind her growth plate. She will be on crutches for a day or two and then she can walk on it if it doesn't hurt. She is determined to play Monday night but I have no idea if that is going to happen. Well, let's get to the good stuff that we are here for this morning.

Our challenge this week is people at their jobs. The sponsor this week is Broken Box Stock. They have many different categories on their site and cute images. I found some of the new images that was on their site and I love them. I will be shopping there in the future. The image that I used for my card this week is Teacher. What a great profession to work with. I really had fun working with this image and adding things to it. I tried to make it look like you were approaching a real teacher's desk. Before I show you the card let me tell you what you are going to win this week.

And The
Everyday Toodle Digital Stamp Set

These are two great sets that you are going to want. Several images come with these sets. What a wonderful prize to win. Let me now show you my card.

I hope you see the school desk feel of the card. I love these cute little crayon embellishments. I couldn't stop from putting these on here. Let me tell you what all the products I used to make this adorable teacher's card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG ( CHALLENGE # 175 ADD SOME LEAVES )

HELLO EVERYONE!! Hope is all well with you this hot Sunday morning. We have had summer weather here for the last week. I actually burned at two of my daughters games. I have had an experience at her games. I always thought that playing soccer or anything else, we focused on the kids learning and having fun. I know they all want to win but when you have coaches and parents that scream at their players is total ridiculous. Is that how they want to raise their kids? Make them think that the only thing you are trying to do is win. Kids need to learn how to loose and have fun. Sitting in the stands you hear parents bad mouthing the other team and yelling at their kids. When will things not be so competitive. My daughter has been bummed about loosing but she knows that her team did their best and that is all you can do. Sorry, I will get off my rant, although I could go on and on.

Now let's talk about the challenge that we are having this week. We are going to add some leaves ( more then three ) to our cards. Robyn's Fetish is our sponsor this week. Robyn let us choose one digi from her images. I chose Fall Pumpkin. I love this image and this also helps with those cards that I send out. The image was one pumpkin but I made three out of them. I punched out all the leaves making the pumpkins look like they are sitting in a pile of leaves. Added a great quote about leaves and I'm done. Before I show you the card that I called Watch The Leaves Turn, let's tell you what generous prize that Robyn is giving to the winner this week.

Some of the leaves that I punched are popped off the page with pop ups. I think you can tell from this picture. I thought the saying was perfect for this card. Here is the products that I used for this card.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 174 "RECTANGLE CARDS ONLY"

Good Morning to Everyone!! I hope everyone's week went well. This was the first week that my daughter went back to school. Many changes to get use to. I have to make sure that she has dinner before practice, gets her homework done, and make sure she's not texting when she is suppose to be sleeping. I was shocked that one of her friends tried texting her at midnight. She has to be up at 6:00 am. Also, the drama has begun. The first day of school and the girls are already talking about each other and making their own little groups. One group talking about the other and so on. If they only knew that once they are out of school, none of that drama will matter in their life. They were have to learn to become grown ups.

Well, let's get to our challenge this week. As the title says we are making only cards that are rectangles. Mayzy Art will be sponsoring our challenge. We were allowed to choose anything in their store. I picked Nimbus The Angel. I love Angels and really believe in them so this image was not hard for me to choose. You may love it and want to enter our challenge so you can get this image. Here's what you will get if you win this week.

5 Digital Stamps
Of The Winner's Choice
From The
Mayzy Art Store

Let me show you the card I made with Nimbus The Angel. I really hope you like her.

The background paper has clouds and raindrops on it. It may be a little hard to see. After I put on the flowers I thought it needed something more so I put ribbon coming out from under the flower. These flowers is one of my favorites that I have in my collection. Here's the items that I used to make this card.

So, I hope you have a Wonderful Sunday and a Wonderful Week. It's suppose to be close to the 90's here so I will stay hot. Goodbye Everyone!!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG CHALLENGE #173 "PUT A FRAME AROUND IT"

Welcome to another challenge this Sunday. I think you will find this challenge fun. I did. When I seen that we are doing this challenge I had an idea in my head immediately. As you know, my blog is also about Making Memories. Growing up there were no pictures laying around for us to look at. There wasn't those family albums. I wanted to make my children a Family Memory book to see who their family is. My Grandson even asks who is in the picture. I had the picture in my mind when picking out my frame and I also switched things up by doing a scrapbook page to add to that book. It's a picture of my mom from mother's day. We have not spent mother's day together in over a decade. Many reasons behind that but now I can say that there is progress with this mother - daughter relationship.
Let's get to the sponsor of the week. Delicious Doodles is that sponsor. They were kind to our design team and let us pick one of their great frames. The frame I chose is called " HYDRANGEA AND BUTTERFLY FRAME." I had never had hydrangea flowers before so I had to look them up to see what colors they come in. When I seen they came in blue, I knew that was the color I wanted to use. Then I picked two colors that would look good with blue for the little frames I made. You will want to win this challenge so you can win the prize Delicious Doodles is giving.
The Winner Will Receive
4 Digi's From The
Delicious Doodles Store
Now I'm excited to show you the layout that I made with this hydrangea and butterfly frame with the picture of my mom.

I hope you like my layout. It is done in traditional style scrapbooking then digital. I like digital but I like that I can make my own things to add to my page. Delicious Doodles made a beautiful frame and the hydrangea is absolutely beautiful. The flower in the upper left hand corner was a flower that I made by hand. A lovely woman named Edwina did a tutorial on making flowers and this is where I learned to make these kind of flowers. Thank You Edwina. Now, here is the list of the products I used to make this layout.

Cardstock -- Close To My Heart
Paper -- The Paper Studio
Handmade Flower -- Butterfly Ribbon from Ribbon Trims
Blue Ribbon from Ribbon FX
Butterfly Embellishments -- K & C Company
Font -- Script MT Bold
Picture -- Taken By My Daughter

Well I hope you enjoyed the layout and my post today. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is where you need to go to put your project in. Just remember that you need to have a frame around a poem, picture or quote. I wish you a wonderful Sunday and a great week.

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 172 "LOTS OF LAYERS"

Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you are all having a wonderful week. This has been a great one hear. That's kind of funny to say because we usually have the most drama that I know. My oldest son has a new job. He has wanted to work for this company for months and they finally hired him. He was happy to tell his boss Goodbye. He is an electric line man. My other son went from part-time to full-time construction worker. Finally, my daughter made the soccer team. Tryouts were Monday through Wednesday and they called Wednesday after the last tryout and gave her the news. Then they tell us that she will be in the soccer preview on Saturday. These kids haven't played before but it was just a preview. They didn't win the two games but they never played together yet. After a couple of practices they will all mesh. I also found out that there is a lot more running to practices and games. Seeing her happy makes it all worth while.

Our sponsor this week is Wings & Willows. This is an etsy store where they sell their images. I love the animals they have created. The image that I was lucky to work with is called Follow Your Dreams. It's a hot air balloon with three little animals in the basket. I called mine "Sending You Well Wishes." We are to use a lot of layers for our cards. I did mine a little different. Hope you will all like it. Now Wings & Willows are giving out a great prize for the winner of this challenge.

$10.00 Gift Certificate
To Be Used At
The
Wings and Willows Store

Now I'm excited. You get to see the layers on my card. Look at the balloon because there are some layers on it.

Some of the squares on the balloon are popped up in different places. I know it's kind of hard to see but I hope you can. I colored the bottom, colored another one, then put the one on top with a pop up sticker. Here are the other items that I used to make this card.

It didn't take many items to make this but it is cute. Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is the place to go to add your card for the lots of layers. You will also see the other designers cards on there to. Well, I hope you all have a good week and come back next Sunday for the next challenge.
