"ANYTHING GOES" AT MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE BLOG

 

A very sunny hello from here in Ohio. Very nice outside. It's suppose to hit the 70's this afternoon. Had to go and get a couple pair of shorts out just to keep cool. I'm excited. I have to let you know that my daughter went to her first hockey game last night with my brother. She has been excited ever since he asked her if she wanted to go. I had to laugh because it took her an hour to do her hair so she looked good. I never seen her so excited like this. She had a wonderful time and so did my brother. You couldn't stop her from smiling from ear to ear when she came home. Unfortunately the team lost the game but she like seeing them get thrown up on the glass. They were watching the Blue Jackets. I keep getting the name wrong. She laughs every time I say something different. 

 

Hope you found my little story cute. You have to soak in every thing you can while your children are small. Since the challenge is anything goes I used an image from Baby Star Designs. The set that I used from them was Puppy Love. I love little animals as you know. This was just an adorable set. Here I will show you the set that I used.

 

 

These are cute puppies. I tried to take the picture of my card with my dog but she would not sit long enough. She wanted to sniff the card. She is a Boston Terrier and very cute. So her is the picture that I did take.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE # 148

 

 

Welcome to another challenge at the My Grafico Challenge Blog. I'm hoping that you are enjoying the "Anything Goes" theme that we are still doing. This gives you alot of different styles and themes that you can work with. I know that I like the fact that I can work on images that I choose and the different designer's of the images that I use. I try to move around to different designer's so you can see a variety of their work. Everyone has their own way of designing the images. They can use clip-art or digital images that you can color on your own.

 

This challenge I used an image from Sanqunetti Designs. The digital image that I used was called Baby Basket. I was able to color the image on my own. I love to show how I envision the image that the designer's made. Let me show you the image I used before I colored it.

 

 

 

By now you know that when we are taking pictures we make the card with a scene around it. Since this was a cute little baby I was thinking of putting out my kids baby pictures and put the card in front. But, of course, I couldn't find one of the baby pictures. That is just my luck so I just used one of my little girl doll. I have had her for so long. So here is the picture of my card with the doll.

 

 

The sentiment says little one but I couldn't get it to show that good. It's pink and white with four white rhinestones. I do hope that you like the card. My daughter loved the quilt that I put different colors on. Well, this is our next challenge so don't forget to go to My Grafico Challenge Blog. This challenge will end on April 10th at midnight. MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #147 "ANYTHING GOES"

Welcome to another challenge from My Grafico's Challenge Blog. I know that I have not posted awhile for this blog but life has been in the way. I lost my grandmother two days after Christmas and she was my best friend. I can honestly say that as of today I'm still morning for her. This has been one of the hardest things I have had to go through. I lost my creative side. I'm starting to get it back but still having a hard time with it. Well enough of my sorrow. I bet you would like to learn more about the challenge we are having now.

 

Well as you know by now, My Grafico Challenges are "Anything Goes." This is a great challenge because you can enter anything you want for your project. I'm lucky because I get to pick any image from the store to work on. I'm always looking at the babies and the animals. This week I decided to go with an image from Revi Devi named Festive Sock Monkey's. Sock Monkey's started out as a joke at my house when my son had no idea what one was. I loved them when I was little and was telling him about them. So I bought one and hung it where he could see it every day and now I don't know how many I have but I make sure he knows where they are in the house. It's so fun to tease him. Let me show you the images I was glad to pick from.

 

 

 

Since we started staging our cards, I pulled out some of my sock monkeys to use in my picture of my card. I think it turned out really cute. Here is the card that I made with the festive sock monkey's.

 

 

 

I hope you like the card and all my sock monkey's. Sorry for the price tag on the one. It's a beanie baby and I couldn't get it off. This is one of my favorite cards and pictures. MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #144

CHALLENGE #144 ANYTHING GOES

Welcome to the start of a new week. I was excited that I woke up to snow flurries today. I'm waiting for that big blizzard that we haven't had for some time. Everyone says I'm crazy but it's the most beautiful thing to see on the trees and on the ground without footprints on it. Once you walk on the snow it's not so pretty anymore. At the end of the week we are suppose to get a couple of inches, but I will believe it when I see it. Where I live everything goes around us and miss us completely. Wish me some snow.
 

My Grafico is having another challenge that the theme is everything goes as you probably know by now. For this challenge I found these cute images from Olillia Illustrations. They are called Sleeping Babies. I love being able to pick out the set I can use to make my creations for you. I know I pick alot of baby images but they are fun to work with. I used the Sleeping Butterfly. I could make so many more cards with the rest of the images. Here is the picture of the set that I have used.

 

 

Since I used cute little babies I set up my card with a bear and his blanket. I think they looked very cute together. So here is the card I made named Sleep Little Baby.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #142

 

Hello Everyone!! I hope you all had a weekend. Mine was busy but a good busy. I was doing alot but not to stressed about it all. I seen my grandson and grand daughter over the weekend. I haven't seen Hayden for over a month. I miss him so much when he's with his mother. I feel sorry for him having a split home. He never leaves his daddy when he's with him. I would love to have my son get him full time. He just looks like he's growing like a weed every time I see him. I see my grand daughter alot more since my son and his girlfriend live together. She a cute little thing. Not crawling yet but scooting backwards. My son wants her crawling and I reminded him he will be chasing her every where. Think again!!

Now let's get to the challenge. I hope by now that everyone knows that for now our challenges with be anything goes. This is a great challenge to participate in because you are not trying to make the card to the theme. I love these kind of challenges. Let's me do the creative things that I would like to show. This challenge I used the designer Revidevi. The set that I used from them is called "Christmas Babies." These are adorable little babies to work with. I'm positive you will want this set. Let me show you why.



See, I told you that these are great images to  work with. I just love making things with babies. Babies are the best things to work with. Well, I used the baby that is behind the ornament. Let me show you what my card looks like. It's in the middle of my daughter's Christmas chain she made in girl scouts. I told her I would post that information. LOL

 

I hope you can click on it and make the picture better. This one I did have a little trouble taking a picture with this one.

MY GRAFICO IS IN SANTA MODE

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #141 IS WORKING FOR SANTA

Good Evening!! I hope your week is starting out great. I was doing OK until the company that was to look at our furnace shut it down and made sure the gas was shut off also. It's good that he did but now we have to wait until my landlord decides to put the new one in. I have been feeling bad lately and the carbon monoxide that the furnace was putting out was probably doing it. Now I'm trying to get some electric heaters to put in here for now. I can't go anywhere because I have a daugter in school. Family is to far away to stay with or to crowded to stay there. Things will work themselves out. I truely believe in that.

I was lucky to use the same set that I worked with two weeks ago. It's made by Pixel Paper Prints and the set is Santa Claus. I loved the card that I made then with Santa but now I used the bag of toys. See how many cards you can use from just one set. I could make many cards for people on my Christmas card list. I did call my card Bag Of Toys. Not the most original but I could not think of anything else. Now the set I said was Santa Claus so let me show you what the set looks like again.

MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE #140 IS ANYTHING GOES

 

Good Morning or Afternoon!! I hope you are all having a great day. Where I am, we are having rain all day. I thought we were in November. Well I have some news to let you all know. Our challenges at My Grafico will be posted on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. We will not longer have feature Mondays for now. So, our challenges will give you two weeks to get your entry in. The design team will be showing you different sets that we worked with on the challenge days. Everyone will be choosing their own set so you will want to go to every one's blog to see what they worked with that week. I like choosing what I'm going to work with. It gives me the freedom of doing what I want. This also is great news for you that our challenges will be ANYTHING GOES for now on.

 

Well let me tell you the set that I worked with this week. The set come from Pixel Paper Prints called Santa Claus. I chose this so I can get ahead on my Christmas cards. This set is absolutely a great set to work with. The way my card came out was because I used the Santa from the set. It went great with the paper that I found in my stash from DCWV. MY GRAFICO HAS A FEATURE THIS MONDAY

 

Hello Everyone!! Thanks for coming to see what's happening at My Grafico. If your on the east coast you may not read this for a couple of days. I live in Ohio and we are getting the wind and rain from Sandy. It has rained here for three days now. It looks so dreary outside that it kind of puts you in a yucky mood. Our road is flooding and so is my basement. It's not that bad in the basement yet but all the stuff down there is up on pallets and shelves. Were suppose to get another 24 to 38 hours of rain and it's suppose to stop. That would be nice if it stops since my grandson's birthday party is this Saturday. He's going to be three. He's growing to fast.

 

Well, let's get to the feature this week. We were able to make our projects from two different sets of digi stamps. The designer for these two sets is Revi Devi. One set is called Wine Tasting Digistamps and the other was Smiley Trains. These are both great sets but I used one of the digital stamps from the Wine Tasting Stamps. Let me show you what these stamps look like:

 

 

 

I love these sets. I actually have some pictures that will look great with the Smiley Train set. I just couldn't find them in time to get my project done for this feature. Now to my card.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #139

WE ARE CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN HERE AT MY GRAFICO

Good Afternoon!!! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!! I'm already tired and ready to go to bed. LOL I still have dinner to make, laundry to do, homework with daughter, and catch up on some of my e-mail. I wish I was paid for all of this work. One day at the spa would be great. I've never been to one but it sounds great.

Well there is a challenge this week and it goes on until October 31st until midnight. The theme is Halloween. We were able to use two sets from Revi Devi Digital stamps and papers. The stamps are called Halloween Sisters and the paper is called Cool Halloween Papers. I used the pot and my own Halloween Paper that my daughter gave me for my birthday.  I will show you the two sets in case you would love to buy them.






These are very cute sets. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. We have decorated our house but not to scary for the little ones. Well here is my card that I made this week. It's called October 31st. 

I hope you like the card. The ghost holding it is my grand daughters favorite thing in my house right now. When you turn it on it lights up and changes colors. WELCOME TO ANOTHER FEATURE FROM MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE BLOG

 

Hello Everyone!! I know I haven't been here for a couple of weeks but I'm trying to get back into the groove again. I'm a little late getting this post out to you because I have the flu. I think I'm going to have to break down and get a flu shot. I have never had one but I think I should get one. I'm just afraid of the things that I have been told about them. I have had some people tell me that they get sick really bad after they get theirs. That is my fear. Well enough about that. Let's get to the stuff that you are here to read.

 

Our feature this week is from Cupcake Cuties. The set that we used is called Love Rocks. There are 6 Digital Papers and 8 elements to work with. The whole set is great. Many things you can do with them. Let me share the card that I made with this set. At My Grafico we are trying to stage our cards to make them exciting. I was worried about doing this because I have never done this before. I found out that I'm more creative then I thought. So here is the photo.

 

 

I hope you like the set up. The flowers are my bouquet from my wedding, a candle from my house and an antique pearl bracelet from my husband's mom. I have to say that I did like how this turned out. Well, I will see you next Monday and I hope you enjoy your week.

Well, we are back for another Monday Challenge. I hope your week is starting off on a good note. Today is my husband's birthday. He hates to celebrate his birthday but the kids didn't care. They went and picked out their own gifts for him and spent their own money. They are starting to grow up and learn how to give. My husband was so surprised. My daughter made him open her gift at 7:00 this morning before she went to school and he had to put it together. She wrote a beautiful letter in the card that she gave him. It was the most beautiful thing. I don't know where she got her sentence but she wished him fun, love and laughter. This was so beautiful cominng from a 13 year girl.

 

This week we are working with  Lady Lady Bugs. The designer of this set was Pixel Paper Prints. This is a cute set that there are many different ways of using them. I decided to use the flowers and added lady bug embellishments. This would be a great set to buy to make those cute layouts with children. Here is the set for you to look at to see all the cute images.

MY GRAFICO'S FEATURE MONDAY

SHABBY FLOWERS ARE THE FEATURE AT MY GRAFICO

 

Hello Everyone!! Welcome to another Feature Monday. Yes I know this is Tuesday and I'm a day behind. I didn't have time to write the post this weekend and yesterday I was helping my Grandmother and went to my daughter's first soccer game of the season. She played so fantastic. Although they did loose 3 - 1 The coaches say's she is in the top three on the team. I'm very proud of my daughter. Also Happy Birthday again to my daughter. She turned 13 Friday.

 

Our Feature this week is Shabby Flower Stamps designed by Mels Brushes. There are nine stamps in total with this set. These flowers are very unique and you can find them at My Grafico's Arts and Crafts Community. When you get there you will see the tab for store on the left sidebar. There are great images at the store so if you have a little time you should go and see the store.

 

Let me show you the picture with all these nine shabby flowers.

 

 

These are very unique as I said earlier. You can make all kinds of things with them. Here is the card that I made with them. I actually used only one of the flowers but I have many ideas for the rest. Here is my card.

Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day Weekend!! A Monday for alot of people that gets to stay home and get paid for it anyway. How great is that? Unfortunately I don't get paid today but it's nice to spend some time with my family. My one son is never here, so, today will be nice to see him for a little bit. We all know they don't stay around for long. My daughter will be hanging out friends more. She is turning 13 this Friday. Time flies when you have kids. I tell them I wish they never grew up. I miss the noise around the house. I do have grandchildren to take care of that though.

This week we are working with Monkey Girls. They can be used as clip art or a digital image. I chose to make the digital image so I could add my own touch. The set we are using is by designer Pixel Paper Prints. I love cute little monkey's. They are the favorite animal at the zoo behind the Koala Bear. Well, let's show you the set that we used for our monky projects.

MY GRAFICO'S FEATURE MONDAY

 

Hello Again for another Monday Feature. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was almost the same as every other weekend. Today my son started college and my husband is gone, so I'm alone for the first time in months. It's so quiet that I don't know how to act. The only noisy thing that is here is my dog who snores louder then my father and that's pretty loud. At least she's peaceful.

 

This week we are featuring an Exclusive Collab Kit called Back to School from My Grafico. With all the young people going back to school this was a great set to feature this week. You can also make cards for the teachers to welcome them back to school, school bus driver and make school layouts to remind your child in the future of what they were like at that year of school.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #135

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE #135 BACK TO SCHOOL

Good Morning!! Another start for a new week. The weekend went by so fast that I feel like I didn't have one. It was one of the best weather we have had since spring and I spent the time sick inside trying to get some of the usual household chores done. I think I did more sleeping then anything. I did have to finish the laundry so my daughter can have all her new clothes cleaned before she started school Tuesday. At least the most important thing I did get finished.

We are starting a new challenge this week. The theme is "Back To School". The clip art that we used was from Linday's Stamp Stuff and the set we used was Steampunk Box and Accessories. We were able to make the box for something for school or make a project of something with this set. I decided to make a birthday card with the gears and clock hands. I guess I should show you the set that we used so you understand what I am talking about.

Well I will show you the card that I made with the gears. My card is a birthday card so I think you will understand the whole thing.

MY GRAFICO'S CHALLENGE AT THE BEACH

CHALLENGE #134 AT MY GRAFICO

Good Afternoon to everyone!! I know it's the beginning of the week but hopefully your getting off to a good start. I'm feeling a little BLAH today. I think I have been trying to catch a flu or something. I'm drinking alot of orange juice and still take my vitamin c but I don't think it's working to good. I'm trying to what I always do but run out of steam and can't finish it. Hopefully Hubby will come home and help me out.

Well, we are having a new challenge starting this week. The theme is for this challenge is Beach Time. There are many things you can do about the beach. I'm sure you have at least went once this year. The designer that we are using is Clementine. We used her clip are called "Beach". She has really cute things that are on this set. Let me show you what the set looks like.

BABY STAMPS FEATURED AT MY GRAFICO CHALLENGE BLOG

Hope your having a Wonderful Monday Morning. I know I haven't been around for awhile but I have wrote a post letting everyone know of the things that has been happening around here and my life. It has been a scarey 2 months. I don't want to repeat myself about everything but I'm so glad to be back and scrapbooking. I'm a little rusty but I'm getting my crative juices a flowing.

The designer that we will be featuring this week is Zenware Designs. The Digital stamps are called Baby Stamps. Who doesn't like to make anything that is for babies? With me having grandchildren I love making things for them and of them. Let me show you the stamps that we were able to feature this Monday.

I didn't make a card this week but a scrapbook layout of my grandson when he was only 1 week old. This is one of my favorite pictures that I have of him. Let me show you this layout.

I hope that you like the layout. I tried to use almost all the images but these one's worked the best with the layout. The other Design Team Members have made some great projects made with these stamps. There are projects that I would never have thought of. If your looking for something different to make you really need to look at their blogs. Some of the projects would be great for a baby shower. MOTHER'S DAY CHALLENGE AT MY GRAFICO

MY GRAFICO'S MONDAY CHALLENGE #127

Good Afternoon!! I'm a little late writing this but I slept in a little this morning.I had a very busy weekend running everywhere. The best part was I spent an afternoon with my granddaughter. Of course, I didn't put her down. She is so beautiful and little. I even fed her and watched her look around everywhere. She knows her daddy's voice because she turned her head to where he was standing. I could of stayed all day but I had more running to do. It was just precious holding her and watching her.

Enough about my fun weekend, let's get to our new challenge this week. We had two sets of images we could use this week by designers Cheri Wenger and Sarah Paris. Cheri Wenger's set was called Mom Stitched Verses and Sarah Paris was Mother's Day. I used one of the sentiments from Sarah Paris. It was hard to choose from all of them but I finally made it to one with my daughter's help. I'm now making another one for my mom for Mother's Day. Let me show you the set's

So here is the challenge for the next two weeks. Make a project about Mother's Day. This should be one of the easiest theme's we could have for the next two weeks.
