Sunday is here again. Are we not all excited for this relaxing day. I am actually going to take this day off today just to give myself a break from all the drama that is going on around my life. Won't get into that but I really need one. Yesterday morning was not good for me. Don't laugh but this is a major thing that happened. My coffee maker quit working. That is the first thing I do in the morning is start that coffee pot. My husband was kind enough to run down to the little gas station and get me two big cups of coffee. I have been use to doing that for years and this was a disaster for me. So, of course, I did have to run in town and get me a new one. Didn't plan on going anywhere but this was an emergency for me. If your a coffee drinker you will understand what is like not to get that first cup of coffee. I could say that was a little drama that was my own and no one elses that everyone piles on me. Let's get to a great challenge this week.
Who doesn't know a young child that needs a birthday card? I know I have my grand daughter's birthday next month. She will be 2. I have many niece's and nephews to give one to. So this was a fun challenge for me. Our sponsor this week is Gerda's Doddles. I loved the little animals with their birthday cakes. The image that I used is called Pig with Cake. I don't think I ever used a pig before but he was cute. I'm glad that Gerda let me use this image. She is also giving away this prize to our lucky winner of the week.

Here is my card that I made with the Pig With Cake
Is he not adorable. My son said he looked like Maxwell from the commercials on TV. He's still adorable. I took a little string and attached the balloon to the pigs hand. I couldn't find my round balloons but I thought these would still work. I love the idea that I came up with the pig inside a balloon. It was just something different. Let me tell you the items that I used for making this card.
